Why do we hate it again?

Why do we hate it again?

Animation locking is too bad compared to Elden Ring

Very monotone to play because increased enemy speed means only roll+R1 is reliable.
"Souls moveset in a Bloodborne game" problem.

The essence of Yea Forums is “OLD OBSCRUE THING GOOD / NEW POPULAR THING BAD”. DS3 was the newest souls game, so it became the NEW BAD THING.

But gradually, Elden Ring will take its place and DS3 will become the beloved OLD GOOD THING. Just screencap this post and wait.

>not as good as Dark Souls 1
>not as good as Bloodborne
>not as good as Sekiro
>sold more than all of them
undeserved success

I like it but for some reason it feels less comfy than dark souls 1 and sekiro

Because it's dogshit and easy as piss

The world design is a hallway with one branch whereas 1 and 2 were interconnected worlds and DeS has five different paths you can do in whatever order
Has no identity and is just "Hey, remember DaS?" when DaS mostly had vague similarities to its predecessor and 2 sparingly used them (Ornstein again being the only blatant example)
Also, I don't think it's a problem either way, but it's funny to me that people complained that II had a lot of humanoid bosses when III has plenty as well (except they light themselves on fire halfway through)

Where's the methodical and strategic gameplay from the other souls games? It's not there. And it's too easy.

I just started playing it and why does my character turn black? Is this a new curse?
