>that's just your projecting, retarded opinion, contrarianfag
It literally looks like one of those shitty cash-grab games that use default unity assets and shit.
Ray tracing is a gimmi
There's a difference between seeing the potential of a technology but realizing it's not ready yet, and seething about it uncontrollably calling it a meme because your sheep consumer brain is forcing you to buy into a new technology right now.
These threads seem to be made strictly by the latter.
ray tracing will stop being a meme next decade maby
>just 18 more years
People have been trying to seriously implement raytracing in games for at least that many years already. Even with dedicated hardware, it's obvious that it's just not worth the cost to do ray tracing as the primary lighting method, and nobody has demonstrated anything showing otherwise. It's *always* "Look at these shiny mirrors and balls reflecting off eacg other in a way you'd never cares about in an actual game"! Using it as a tool to make slightly better approximations of GI might be useful if done intelligently, but everyone tries to make it a dumb, costly showoff gimmick.
Plenty of stuff has actually been demonstrated, but you just keep ignoring it. Look up every single GPU benchmarking program ever.
Consoles holding everything back, as usual, so you're not going to see anything close to that in actual gaming for at least another generation.
