DOOM Thread
What are you bros playing up until Eternal? I'm playing Doom64EX for the first time and it's fucking awesome, probably better than Doom 2.
Post favorite games, wads, whatever

Just bought all three earlier today on Switch. Even if I don’t like them I’m only out 5 bucks lmao
Have fun user, Doom 1 is the best of the bunch, but neither 2 or 3 are exactly bad either.
I think you'll know by the end of E1 if classic Doom is for you. You still might like 3 though, since it's way more cinematic than the first two.
Cool, what’s E1? I’ve played a little of the 1st one and thought it was fun
Episode 1: Knee Deep in The Dead
FWIW; Doom levels are referred to by episode title, followed by whatever number map in that episode it is. So E1M1 is Episode 1, Map 1.
I finished up the Doom 3 port on Switch. It was okay. About what I remember when I played it on PC a few years ago.
Episode 1. The first game is split up into 4 groups of 8 maps and a secret.
Doomfag here, ill post my list of Doom mods I consider either personal favorites or just essential to try out once (see Brutal Doom). If you're new to Doom then download the base games, download your source port of choice, then download ZDL to boot up multiple mods at once

2016. I'm at the Vega part. This one room sucks dick. Everything is cramped and there's 9000000 demons. I'm gonna be forced to use the BFG I guess
Is it weird that I feel more inclined to play wads if they're added on the Switch version? Double Impact was pretty great and the music in the second map is fucking incredible. It's also how I played Sigil and The Master Levels. Maybe it's just cause playing Doom in bed is comfy in a weird way. I just wish wads would be added faster.
