Getting checked for ADHD soon, I only recently REALLY learned about it and am 99% sure I have it considering my childhood experiences. I don't get almost any stimulation from most things, the only games I can practically enjoy anymore are platform fighters like Melee for their unique elements of being single player pvp games with ridiculously fast paced combat and ridiculously high depth (Especially in the movement). I've tried very hard to find practically anything else I can enjoy including the other smash games, but everything else I've found either has unreliable sustainable stimulation as a result of the nature of RNG (team games, battle royales like Apex, card games, etc.) which infuriates me to be denied the basic level of stimulation I need or its too slow and/or lacks the depth to stimulate me (Other smash games, traditional fighters, etc). I'm not trying to put any of those games down either, I'm not saying they're bad I just literally can't even enjoy them even if I wanted to which I did really badly for Ultimate. The Melee-like's are all either dead or really old though so I don't know how long I'm gonna be able to keep going with them.
Disability thread
necrotic hip and osteoporosis, also right arm is fucked up from surgery. doesn't limit my vidya options but it makes sitting and/or standing for extended periods extremely painful so I have to take a lot of breaks. all things considered I could probably be a lot worse off. at least I don't have cancer anymore
I think I developed ADHD as I grew up, when I was a kid I really loved playing RPG games, now they fucking bore me too much and enjoy only Hack´n Slash games immensely

user, we're talking about making life better, not worse.
Oh god
Before this thread dies HOW DO I GET NEETBUX?
ADHD isn't something you develop overtime as much as it is something you're just born with, you're boredom for rpgs might have just been a result of them being novel back then when you first tried them and now you're used to it. Turn based combat I find is the most common genre for people to grow out of considering how repetitive it can be.
Have you played Soul Calibur VI? It's faster than most traditional fighters. You sound like you'd be a Nightmare player.
There are rare malformations where the CSF leaks through the nasal cavity, but in any country with decent health care, this should be found near birth. Is your problem present from childhood?
