I was going to get a Switch Lite today and realized the OG Switch is superior in every way. I didn't realize the Lite's screen is like roughly a bit bigger than the biggest smart phone screen. You're literally gaming on a smart phone compared to the OG Switch's screen size. Also you're losing a lot of functionality by buying a Lite over an OG Switch as well, plus the redbox Switch has a stronger battery than the Lite.

There is basically no reason to get a Lite unless you prefer a handheld only console with a baby screen and a weak battery. Or you're a poorfag who thought the $100 difference in price was a good deal. If you legit NEVER used the docking feature on the Switch then I'd understand getting a Lite I suppose, but even then it still doesn't seem worth it. It's so fucking tiny.

I got the 2DS XL because I tried a friends XL and it felt too uncomfy for big hands.

They had a 2DS XL demo at my local gaming shop so it was an easy purchase.

This thing on the other hand looks flimsy and tiny for big hand guys.

not him, but you need to update the Switch Lite online in order to let the system know it's a Switch Lite, otherwise you'll be stuck on the set up, since the set up asks you to disconnect joycons. Only happens if you're disconnected to the internet, so it's not a BIG deal, but it's sti weird.

I think he's referring to a mandatory update you need to first set up the Lite, if you ignore it the console starts a normal Switch setup meaning you'd eventually get stuck when the tutorial asks to detach the joycons

Literally no point in getting the Lite. You can literally remove the joy cons for “muh portability.” The extra cash for you to use the switch’s other modes is worth the money. Never thought I’d end up using tabletop mode and being able to play stuff like MK with friends on a TV is something you don’t want to miss out on

If you’re playing a game on your secondary switch and launch the same game on your primary but under a different user then it won’t kick you off on the secondary.
I also started a game on my secondary and immediately turned airplane mode on and played for more than an hour and it never did another check to see if I was online. Once closed I couldn’t launch the game until I turned airplane mode off though.
