Which one is your favorite suit?

Attached: 1568922646869.jpg (1768x3733, 1.32M)

>Got out of the habit of playing H2 for a while
>Missed all those juicy targets

I should reinstall it.

Signature actually.

Terminus baybee

Do you thing the tropical storm in the new map will have gameplay implications?

New map in like 3 days, of course reinstall it

The New Yorker suit feels like he's not wearing anything below his jacket.

Tactical Gear.
Just in case they take it personally.

marrakesh suit

>tfw doing bank job wearing lynch suit going guns blazing
was hard but fun
K&L 3 never ever

I hate how they made clown and flamingo into default suits. These are disguises. It's pandering to lol so random reddit audience

>no blimp mission
>no casino mission
>no high tech skyscraper mission
>no airport mission
>no space station mission
>no military base high tech with lots of levels mission
>no g5/un world leaders meeting mission
>no historical spin off mission for fun like kill hitler, stalin etc

Cmon ioi you got a lot to work with make some cool shit

Attached: 1542271638301.png (2048x1536, 2.63M)

blood money suit is the only one I wear
it's god tier

most of these are terrible, user.

There was already a casino mission in Blood Money, though I wouldn't say no to another one.

A blimp mission has potential. I also want to see a train mission, an art gallery, an office building and a mission in Rome.

what about a mission on a reality tv show or someshit
like survival or big brother where you have to plan it so carefully so the audience thinks it's a joke or something
like a competitor target and a producer target

>Japanese game show level

>A blimp mission has potential
How? Blimps aren't very spacious.

Make it some kind of futuristic superblimp, or have a focus on the maintenance areas as well, or use verticality. I dunno.

>still no mission set in Russia
sniper meme doesn't count, I want St.Petersburg stakeout remake

*plink*

?

They really need to make half of these outfits 'gloves: optional'.

I hate how suits with gloves are so annoying to get goddamn it
I just the regular suit with gloves but no gotta do like 50 ETs which takes like 9 years fucking hell

Huh... What's that?

anyone find the new emetic poison grenade quite underwhelming? crowds aren't even affected by it.

Go check that out.

Training/recon gear
Why the fuck has it never been available

Goyim! A coin!

weird

Command, I heard a suspicious noise, I'm gonna check it out.
>never heard from ever again

Colorado ET suit

"If you go check that out, I'll buy you lunch"
"On it"

It's like 8 ETs and there's two a month, it's not that hard.

*guard points out a random civilian nearby*
"You there! Go check that out."
"Understood!"

>when you manage to drag a body away and hide just when a guard or npc walks by
is there a better feel?

>Trying t sniper assassin Bangkok
>Get Cross easy enough
>Other cunt is nothing but problems
I fucking hate this shitty roof area. I hate that some random cunt THREE FLOOR DOWN can spot me. This shit should have been fucking fixed years ago.
Maybe I should just lure his stupid fucking ass to his suite then kill him.

What mechanics would you add the make the game way harder without making it impossible?
npcs noticing blood
guards actually checking areas where the guard goes "gon check that out" and never heard from again
guards noticing if you walk into a room with your target and come out then they check said room and see something's wrong

I tried it once. Dropped it 6" from the target's feet. No effect. Plus, since it's illegal to carry, you might as well just use the syringe.

Those wouldn't necessarily make it harder, it would just restrict level design.

>have to report every fucking thing they do to "command" ... just walk 3 feet to the left and see what the fucking noise was without the 10 second narration.

you can snipe both cross and morgan from the same position
snipe cross from the other side of the hotel through the window and then snipe ken when he walks through the hotel reception

1. Summer Suit with Gloves
2. Classic All-Black Suit
3. Midnight Black Suit

>load up ET
>spawn in as hairdresser
>dude is right there wandering around
>lure a cop away, bop him on the head and stuff him in a storage bin
>lure the ET away to the same location, stick him with the syringe, pick up the thumb drive
>figure I may as well hide his body since he's right in front of it already, even though I don't need to
>as soon as I pick him up some bitch sees me and alerts the guards

fucking hubris, man. like a greek tragedy

florida fit

Funny how IOI made Absolution willingly but managed to do a big dicked comeback with such a Kino hitman game. I forgive you.

Attached: 1498564882917.png (1001x823, 806K)

Attached: 154654112.png (620x609, 316K)

You rekt yourself.

Was it worth the +25 XP?

Absolution wasn't that bad at its core, it just insisted on having these linear "story" levels in between assassination missions, and missions had to be split into multiple smaller levels because it was running on last gen hardware.

I've played 4 hours of Hitman 2016, and I guess I like it. I don't care about elusive targets. Should I keep playing and eventually buy Hitman 2, or just go full retard and play the 2016 campaign within 2?

You should play the first one using Hitman 2 anyway it has more features, the hitman 2 downlaod is free on steam, just launch it and you should have the first game inside ready to go

Now that the dust has settled and we know that Absolution didn't actually kill the series like we thought it might, we can admit it actually had some good elements to it.

Being able to detach/reattach suppressors at will was a nice detail. Being able to choose between dual wield or single wield for the pistols was nice.

Hell, I even liked the mark and execute meme feature. It was nice for fucking around.

for me it's the undying

Fucked myself over with ET today as well
>silent assassin indicator goes red "because lmao suspicious"
Blast the target right into face, grab the USB and sanic my way to the basement

Alright, thanks user.

I wonder how big his dick is...

Hitman 2 sucks its just hitman 1 dlc. When i play a numbered sequel I expect devs to at least pretend they worked on it.

Bangkok suit

Just give me Imperial Classic already.

Attached: Imperial2018.png (650x490, 252K)

IOI said that once they release the resort we're going to start getting elusive targets that aren't repeats of 2016.

Honestly this, is same exact game with but with new missions. Should have just released it as an expansion or something, then again they practically did that since everyone who owned Hitman 1 got legacy levels for free.

I wish that they'd take the code and gameplay and put it in a new action IP, Point Shooting was very cool and is a waste to just dump it

I want the bangkok suit though

that's exactly what it is, but since square dropped them they couldn't use their servers for 2016 anymore, it had to be a new title that's awkwardly titled Hitman 2

Attached: Hitman 2 Homecase.webm (853x480, 2.78M)

I don't think reinstalling does anything, user. At least on PC progress is tied to your steam account and is all saved online. I've reinstalled the game at least three times so far, and nothing really changes. The only thing uninstalling does, as far as progression is concerned, is delete your in-mission save files.

Can I pirate this yet?

Wait wait, if I just have Hitman 1 I can download the free Hitman 2 episode and then play the entirety of H1 inside it without any additional purchase?

Attached: 1558100690647.jpg (640x480, 55K)

>finally got El Matador
Man fuck that escalation, literally 20 minutes of set up

Cowboy is my default

I saw that glitch posted 2 years ago don't tell me they haven't fixed it yet

Still waiting on a expansion pass sale. Wish I was paying attention for it over the summer. I guess I could be waiting until Christmas sales. Maybe they will do a third map besides Maldives? Also fuck sniper assassin missions. What a waste of player time and developer resources.

Attached: Hitman 2 Screenshot 2019.09.15 - 18.33.31.14.png (1920x1080, 2.07M)

>Stop throwing stuff around!
Literally never happens, guards have priority

You can but no unlocks, unless they cracked that somehow, idk bought the game from g2a

Have you watched this? It explains a lot about development of the game
youtube.com/watch?v=_stW6JvB4SI

I would forgive the cinematic approach if the story wasn't so fucking bad

So it's just what Contracts was to Silent Assassin?

I think you can pirate the first game

They did fix it. But the community missed it, so they made a specific briefcase with those properties.

Attached: hitman list.jpg (1036x973, 162K)

Lmao, which briefcase ?

people ask this in literally every Hitman thread, but yes

Add the tortured guy in the Contracts biker level

ICA Executive Briefcase Mk II, it's also a joke about all the shitty Mk II sticker items. Can't post images at the moment, take a look at it here vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/hitman/images/d/d8/ICAExecBriefcaseMkII2018.png

>if the story wasn't so fucking bad
Unlike every other Hitman game where the story is fantastic.

Attached: 1561115773181.png (500x392, 79K)

Fuck, don't think I have this one. Thanks anyway.

Yes. But they added in more NPC characters and changed the lighting, so it runs less smooth than the maps did in Hitman 2016. But the upside is you get the briefcase and some of the other improvements of Hitman 2.

The story in first 4 Hitman games was servicable and didn't interfere with the gameplay nearly as much as in Absolution, you had some exposition in the beginning, a few cutscenes in between the missions and conclusion at the and that was it.
No one plays Hitman for story anyway.

hitman.fandom.com/wiki/Best_Case_Scenario
fuck that's a lot of work

How do you unlock the snow festival suit?

So I just finished downloading H1 for nothing? This shit has taken the better part of a day. How much does it weight? Because if it's much more than H1 then fuck that.

Attached: 1560745499907.gif (659x660, 1.31M)

>No one plays Hitman for story anyway.
Hell no, 2016 and 2018 story got me interested since its so /x/ tier
>illiuminati lmao
can't wait till we get to kill fucking Bogdanoffs

It was introduced in a shitty winter themed limited time mission, it'll probably return next year.

>Hell no, 2016 and 2018 story got me interested since its so /x/ tier
Hitman 2 was a lot more heavy handed, and didn't quite enjoy it as much.

You dun goofed
Hitman 2 with legacy pack is 140gb

Attached: 1511721773605.jpg (714x732, 88K)

>140gb
Yeah nah, I'm good with H1.

Attached: 1560773780584.jpg (699x312, 85K)

you can download each map separately
>launch Hitman 2
>game detects legacy pack
>exit game and check/uncheck the maps you want
>keep playing while other maps downloads
true but that's two games combined

>Absolution was 10GB
>4 years later next game is 4 times bigger

they won't do another mission. but their community guy said they are planning something with the Hawke's Bay map.

To be fair, something you can actually do is pick and choose which missions you want to download. When I first got 2, I installed the first mission and played it while the rest were downloading in the background. You'll be fine playing in 1 though, as long as you're not a completionist. Progression doesn't carry over.

I well aware of that, got 80 hours out of it so far so I can't complain, also new map on 24 of September

>>Absolution was 10GB
No it was not.

>as long as you're not a completionist

Attached: 1539561865597.png (258x165, 79K)

Oh right it's 24
10 was size of my torrent

>torrent
First thing that came to my mind, glad I didn't buy that garbage

bruh just bite the bullet and download 2, you'll be kicking yourself if you spend 100+ hours playing 1

>tfw Hitman is the only stealth series that isn't dead

Pretty sure I've seen security order some other NPC to go look at something if they're also occupied with another distraction.

Contracts was a huge upgrade mechanically and visually, it's more similar to BM than SA. TM2 is literally the same game with more levels. I think the only reason some people don't count Contracts as a full standalone game is the relatively small number of levels, many of them being remakes from C47

Definitely seen that as well, probably patched by now

Attached: 7lWjDiH[1].png (610x457, 393K)

I always get the Hitman games on the playstation out of a sense of nostalgia and I kind of regret it, because the Season pass for Hitman 2 has been on sale like exactly once.

How is Hitman 2's dlc?

Attached: distraction.jpg (467x366, 42K)

It runs on the same engine and just looks slightly sharper and much darker, the main difference is that detection system is much more forgiving

What about Assassin's Creed? Or I guess that doesn't really count as stealth these days, does it?

No I just meant I need to play it again.

I'm going to open fire on anyone who is in the vicinity!

Like ass creed was stealth to begin with and not just bootleg Prince Of Persia

I haven't played Ass Creed since Unity, do they even pretend to be stealth games anymore? I heard last one is full RPG

Attached: Hitman 2 Hose.webm (853x480, 2.78M)

I'm just struggling to come up with a stealth game that wasn't Watch_Dogs Grandma edition.

>New York
>surveillance room next to the vault
>turn on TV
>guards just fuck of to watch TV
>close the door
>have your sodomite ways with the last guy watching monitors

What is this supposed to represent? Don't tell me you think they did nothing wrong?

Dishonored series are OK i guess

After Syndicate it completely dropped off. You can still stealth but the emphasis has almost entirely gone

Tux and mask best suit
>start with nothing but a knife
>kill everyone stealth style
Favorite way to play.

Also Whittletown night variant WHEN?

Blink and Far Reach are too overpowered for stealth. Dishonored 2 gives you a lot of tools for mass knockouts as well. Ghosting is very easy

>just bootleg Prince Of Persia
This user gets it. Also ass creed was best as a pirate game.
We might get a new Splinter Cell, right? Though I don't have any faith in modern Ubisoft.

What makes a good stealth game?
Asking because I'm actually starving for them and thinking about learning to make games just for the sake of having one.

Have you ever been to the US?
It exactly works like that

First 2 games had some basic social stealth elements before the series turned into cookie cutter open world games

>We might get a new Splinter Cell, right?
Maybe if Watch Dogs Legion and Beyond Good and Evil 2 fail they might give it one more chance.but it looks like they're happy enough to stick with making a lot of money off Ghost Recon

But 47 isn't black :(

The only Ubisoft game I want to see is Mario + Rabbids 2.

Dishonored, Styx, a bunch of smaller one-off indie games.

I rented Origins because I was bored and being a history lover seeing how Ubisoft fucked with history+parkouring over recreations of historic cities made AssCreed my guilty pleasure. Origins had stealth but it was more like an unholy combination of the Witcher 3 and a Soulsborne game. I heard Odyssey had shit like a dialogue tree and romances and shit.
Ha! We'll just get teases of Splinter Cell. We'll never get another Splinter Cell game. I wish I could go back to 2005 and pay Chaos Theory for the first time again.

OH SHIT I DIDN"T PREPARE FOR THE JOB INTERVIEW

Attached: HITMANâ„¢-2_20190626013433-1024x576.jpg (1024x576, 61K)

Did they ever even bother to add a proper crouch (or any stealth stance) in AssCreed? Last I played was Black Flag and the whole series just blurs together in my mind.

Rewarding gameplay with little handholding
Trial and error and requirements for good timing and patience
Responsive and realistic AI
Varied level design
Good soundtrack definitely helps

Deus Ex are practically FPS hitman/james bond in future if you chose to play it that way

Being able to not force your way through the situation. A stealth game lives and dies on the fact that combat needs to be a last resort and not just the 'faster' option.

the Sly Cooper games are pretty good about this.

He isn't american either

Mark of the ninja is a great platformer/stealth game

Hitman 2 also added reflective surfaces and working mirrors (that the ai can see through), briefcase came back, hiding in crowds is a series first+foliage. Changes to how cameras work, picture in picture mode returns etc.
Hitman 2 could've still been a big expansion, but to say that it adds nothing...

People often refer to Hitman as puzzle games rather than stealth games in traditional sense

I keep forgetting that Deus Ex Mankind Divided happened. That was 2016 right?

>That awful feeling when Hitman (2016)'s lighting is still vastly superior to Hitman 2
>Hell even Absolution

Attached: Hitman Screenshot 2017.11.23 - 21.00.57.74.jpg (1920x1080, 560K)

>Whittletown night variant WHEN
awww hell yeah I like the way you think

Alien Isolation

I suppose so, they're all about setting up stealthy kills rather than just having to constantly avoid people.

>only figured this shit out by the time I got the second question
truly a brainlet

I liked 47's face in 2016 better.

>hiding in crowds is a series first
Absolution.

>Noticed the pictures in third attempt.

Attached: 50591259.png (300x339, 28K)

Still the most kino mission in the series

>I'm in the retirement business

I've had enough

Attached: Hitman 2 AI Doesn't Care.webm (853x480, 2.71M)

Do the new game ignore the evens in Absoluton? Why does 47 look much younger?

I'll be honest, I kind of ignored the events of Absolution myself.

>Posts the shit version of traditions of the trade

47 being a weird unsociable autist who only relates to killing people is hilarious

I got really spooked by that ghost when I was 15

Would be nice if losing sight of you and seeing another NPC with the same clothes as you (as long as the face is hidden like that flamingo suit) would cause the guards to be tricked and arrest the wrong person.

>only showed emotions for some Italian monk

>that ghost Easter egg
>terminator 2 sequence
otherwise kinda empty level but still enjoyed it
Everyone, including the devs pretends like it doesn't exist

>Whittletown in Halloween
>Comfy decorations everywhere
>Halloween costumes available as disguises throught town
>"Kill target with a knife/claws/chainsaw while dressed as a slasher villain"-type challenges.

IOI would be mad not to do this.

It canonically takes place after Absolution, even if it sweeps everything about that game under the rug. 47 looking younger can be chalked up to a change in artstyle I guess.

That's not Meat King's Party
Probably the most disturbing level in a non-horror game

You got Amos Dexter in Hokkaido and on Sgail but that's about it.

Speaking of Meat King's Party
>You better watch out
>A Dance with the Devil
When are we getting complimentary orgy mission in Hitman 2 ?

>"He's just finished a job, perfectly executed"
>"And... who is this man?"
>"It's me"
What a chad

Everyone has different favorite levels but everyone can agree the jungle levels in CN47 and Snowy Japan levels in SA were the worst

What the fuck was his problem
Who hunts people for sport, honestly.
Hunting people for money is objectively better

Attached: Lord_Winston_Beldingford.jpg (200x200, 17K)

That story mission reminded me that 47 is still emasculated of his DOUBLE. FUCKING. BARRELS. His most iconic weapons for like 7 years and fagaladons still haven't brought those back. I don't care if its unrealistic or unpractical, I just want them.

Jungle made me quit the first game. It's obvious the devs weren't yet sure what they wanted the series to be.

Yeah there is a reason they weren't remade in Contracts, the second one is probably the shortest level in the series
The showdown with the wannabe Tonny Montana was funny though

This is for making me have to run around and collect evidence every time, old man.

Ass Greed is just an action game with generic stealth elements, just like any other game is nowadays. Even Tomb Raider.

Why did he need 20 guards?

Can't blame the chief of police, after years of similar accidents, you gotta believe it's a natural occurence.

I'm pretty sure Warner Brothers is pumping a ton of money into IOI. The bank mission felt a cut above even the regular Hitman 2 missions in terms of production values, attention to detail and design.

It's funny. What you think is bad, I think is the strongest aspect of the game. "More of the same" is not always a bad thing. The only things that stayed the same are the UI and gameplay. The levels were all brand new, and those are what takes 95% of the work. You have obviously never played SO/SA Master if you you don't think any sort of thought or effort went into level design. Every single item, every single guard path (down to the inch) is carefully planned out to accommodate any play style you wish to bring to the table. So the fuck what if the interactions are the same?

Hitman 2016 was fucking mindblowing. Why would they change a winning formula? They should all get reach-arounds for having the balls to not mess with a system that wasn't broke, unlike all these other retarded devs that strip away everything that made the old games good.

Florida fit or the new yorker

this, tho mk2 items were a lazy solution
also, hitman 3 will be even more of the same with minor improvements probably and I'm okay with this as long as they'll keep their promise of all the levels from all the seasons in one game

I think that because they had to rush the inital levels so they didn't go bankrupt.
The game was developed ~nine months and I'm suprised i turned out as good as it did.

Hitman 2 is probably one of those few games I think most people will agree will be a modern day classic, because it not only has so fucking much but it's so tight in design.

It really is the ultimate Hitman game. I really hope the sales reflect it and keep the franchise going.

>Yea Forums appreciates Hitman
I knew there was real value in this place after all.

Attached: tumblr_e0dbf984e36412f453f6ebe08aff8640_8389fede_1280.jpg (853x480, 122K)

hitman 2 won't be a modern day classic
because hitman 3 will happen

I'm cautiously pessimistic about it because I feel like they're already at a delicate tipping point and by maybe changing something for 3, it could be a deal breaker.

What did you prefer?
>Bonus missions remixing old levels
or
>Completely new levels

I'll have to see what Haven Island is like. The Bank was good but small and the Sniper Assassin maps were fun for about 30 minutes each.

I'm guessing that by that time the experience they built up designing levels and things like Escalations helped out a lot as well.

The Escalations tend to be all over the place, but it kinda feels like it's their little playground to mess with new ways of playing the existing levels. When they're good, they tend to be really good, when they're bad, they're usually merely forgettable

Blood Money Suit is so fucking good.
But the Flamingo Suit is pretty funny.

Is Hitman 2 worth the DLC pass at full price or should I wait for a price drop?

What kind of question is that? Bonus missions, like Icon, are cool but what do they have on full levels?

The special assignments were underwhelming.

But it off a key site. Got the golden edition and hitman1 dlc for $50 total

I think IOI deserves the money. All the money.

Only civilized threads besides GTA:SA that you can have in this septic tank

The Bank is a good location, well see in four days if Haven is worth the money.
The Sniper maps are alright if you like that sort of thing.
The special assignments are just permanent elusive targets without the rewards.

I think it's because raging troglodytes can appreciate a game about passionless comedy murder but don't actually have the mental faculties to play it or have any opinion the actual meat and potatoes of Hitman beyond 'it looks fine'.

The Hitman games make me feel like a total dipshit in a way few games manage to.

I haven't bothered with the sniping maps much because the sniper controls are absolutely garbage, hope that's something they'll fix, but at this point I've given up hope

>How do you unlock the snow festival suit?
There's a lot of challenges in Hitman 2016 that didn't carry over to 2018. About 5 per level. Such as a Sapienza challenge to kill 5 targets in 1 accident, but more pointedly, seasonal challenges. Such as the Halloween scarecrow challenges in Colorado, and the Santa challenges in Paris. Those Santa challenges are where the Santa suit comes from. It's unobtainable in Hitman 2 (for now).

If you've finished all the Hitman 2 content but never played 2016, you should go give it a look. There's a lot more challenges, and the levels are slightly different. Of course you lose certain luxuries, such as the Silent Assassin meter next to the minimap. Also, the physics are slightly different so explosions and coin tosses don't always go as you expect. But it's perfectly enjoyable.

It's the right balance between cold blooded calculated murder and Looney Tunes.

Right? Sometimes mistakes that should have killed me have actually made a level easier, and vice versa.

The only concern is that it will be developed by IO’s new Swedish branch while the main studio works on a new IP. It’ll either be kino, or a game filled with Bangkok-tier levels.

>as long as you're not a completionist.
Fight me.

Attached: 1551149752530.png (1006x756, 776K)

Actually, this is misleading. I'll be honest. (pic) This fucking bullshit right here. It's the ONLY destination where I don't have 100%. It's stuck at 99% because IOI failed to fix that bug, regardless of what the August patch notes said. Rumor is they're fixing it this month. We'll see.

Attached: 1554733381340.png (1568x920, 1.59M)

>yfw we get Freedom Fighters 2

The Silent Assassin indicator alone makes 2 worth whatever you pay for it. You don't get that in Hitman 2016. It's a godsend doing Professional (Or Master, as they're called in H2) SO/SA challenges.

>the main difference is that detection system is much more forgiving
Incidentally, I played Hitman 2016 for about 50 hours after finishing Hitman 2, and it was immediately obvious how quirky Hitman 2016 was with detection. I can't count how many times I blurted out "WHO??? WHO THE FUCK SAW ME???" because no one was there. Hitman 2 seemed to fix a lot of that.

STAB

mark of the ninja, shadow tatics, and invisible inc are good stealth games if you dont mind indie games

It's weird seeing it in a game. But yes, if you walk away from a police officer while they're yelling at you to stay still, bad things tend to happen. His crime was not turning on the spiggot. It was ignoring the cop ... rent-a-cop? I can't tell.

Maybe, but why not give the new IP to the new studio? Why would you have less experienced people work with a formula they’re not familiar with? Even in the documentary it was said that a lot of IO’s new recruits have to basically unlearn usual level and game design conventions when making Hitman games. Not to mention that it took the main studio making Absolution and also the entirety of Season 1 to get the series where it is now. Binning all that experience seems like a waste.

Absolutely The Cashmerian.

I only figured it out after googling it. I win.

>walking on the front lawn

Good point, what kind of IP are they going to make next though?

Trainer + Stealth toggle. Nothing to see here.

Attached: 1563597785487.png (720x748, 345K)

Okay did they fucking never patch this into the console versions or something? I keep seeing people talk about the SA indicator but nothing ever shows up. No difficulty list or SA indicator next to the map. Playing PS4 btw

>Doing Columbia sniper assassin
>Kill everybody
>Didn't get the challenge
>Check the points
>Realize it was because I did an accident kill
Fuck. God I hate this level so much.

The problem is implementing them would take like 2 weeks of manpower. Making entirely new animations and programming in the ability to use 2 weapons at once (projectile behaviors, recoil tuning, the entire ammo system would need to be re-adapted, etc) isn't something you can do over lunch. That's entirely too much work for a single gun setup that is ineffective and solely aesthetic.

Activate it in the options.

I wish they'd add custom weather selection
Also the suburbs level at night

My Hitman 2 is unplayable without a mouse that has at least 4 additional buttons outside of the standard 5. I have everything bound, including leaning the mouse wheel left and right. Even with all that, sniping gets awkward because of having to combine it Sense and the slowdown. I made a fucking AutoHotkey script so Sense is an on/off toggle instead of having to hold it down.

Attached: 1546171697403.png (428x342, 9K)

Wtf why is not on by default, it's even buried at the very bottom under a mountain of options so nobody can see it

Thanks

Or you could just make it into another weapon.

Do you have porn open in a second monitor or something? Why put so many binds on your mouse?

Did they slightly change Terminus's look?

He just explained why that would take forever in the post you're replying to. They could make 5 elusive target setups in the time it would take to add dual-wield weapons. Including melee, which you may notice is also not in the game for the same reasons.

Would you play a game called Rapeman?
It would be the same as Hitman but instead of killing corrupt people you would rape girls

Why not? If the buttons are there, it balances the work load between your hands.

Drop down, drag body, activate/speak/poison, sneak, drop weapon, all done with the mouse. It allows a lot of freedom for the hand controlling movement and allows fluid transitions/turns/sprinting while performing other actions.

Welcome back to preschool, 47

next week will be first time 47 wearing shorts..

I always wanted a Jurassic World Evolution with women instead of dinosaurs. Fences, breeding programs, viewing areas, themed restaurants and gift shops, all that stuff.

If you don't always equip signature + silverballer + fiber wire + syringe youse a punk bitch

I do, but then I never use the fiber wire because I could be in the middle of fucking Nowhere, Oklahoma and still someone will spot me.

lockpick + coin + silverballer + the cashmerian is the true kino combination

Why does failure continue to be promoted on this board?

I don't know about failure, but I am genuinely concerned that IOI will run out of money and there won't be Hitman 3. Or that the quality will be cut back.

Attached: 1711278_1.jpg (630x630, 44K)

ive heard anons on here say that hitman 2016 is harder than 2018 on the highest difficulty not necisarily in a good way. What are the differenes? 2018 is pretty easy even on the highest setting so i was thinking about playing the 2016 maps in 2016 instead of 2018

Change the fish to one of the poisons and you can pretty much SA every mission with that load out. Maybe switch the lockpick for the electronic scrambler depending on the map. I have come to realize that explosives and unsuppressed weapons are mainly for escalations.

according to IOI's latest financial report Hitman 2 made a profit of 2.4 million $ but still was "underperforming".

Investors/the board probably have unrealistic expectations. They probably think since it was popular enough to have a Hollywood movie that it shouldn't be a niche title.

>Piles of money earned doing... questionable things

>"47, we have reports of a herd of dumbfucks marching on Area 51 at Nellis Air Force Base, despite knowing full well that lethal force will be used if they proceed. Time to make use of all those loud toys we gave you as rewards that are useless in actual assassination missions."

Attached: 1545581234296.jpg (632x2600, 207K)

It's a bit confusing, Professional is the name of the hard difficulty in 2016, it's not medium like 2018. The missions have a lot of differences to the usual difficulty, more enforcers, more cameras, less items etc.

What are the most kino opportunities?
For me
Season 1: making Jordan Cross push Morgan out of the window, then playing the tape and sitting down in the chair in his room, as he begs for his life
Season 2: helping Kashmirian kill Rangan and Vanya, then taking his disguise and garroting Maelstorm in his hideout

It's better than syringe

Only if you're big on save-scumming. It's imprecise and unreliable. A syringe gives you much more control.

if you take too many guards alarms go off just like in payday 2

thoughts on this guy?

Season 2: Kashmirian kill + Smothering Janus as the nurse

i pre-ordered this game because i wanted to support IOI but it ran like dogshit on my pc, so i only played up till the first elusive target and uninstalled.
should i go back to it? are there any events going on?

New map drops in four days.
The bank that was added over the summer is a great level as well, although a little to easy.

Do you miss on anything except elusive targets in this game?

They did a couple of limited seasonal maps during the last winter but there hasn't been anything like the sort since then

Are elusive targets really a 1 try deal? I haven't read the warning screen, accidentally pressed enter

Yes, but you can restart the mission as many times as you want.

>Are elusive targets really a 1 try deal?
They are recycling the Hitman 2016 targets at the moment.

unless you haven't completed one of the objectives.

Dual wielding really goes against the whole professional, precise and silent nature that 47 has.

Yes. Trouble is, IOI made them iconic.

Attached: Hitman_3_artwork.jpg (256x363, 61K)

The dual ballers are a carry over from C47. If anything, it's the fault of the marketing of the old games that they became 47's signature weapon, as in the games themselves they are always the worst guns in the game.

>wildly varying locales
>assassination methods almost entirely the same

I wish they can mix it up a bit somehow

I hope the resort level is better than the bank level

I don't think I've ever played any game with a map in it as well designed and themed as Hokkaido

Attached: txwM0M8.jpg (600x600, 65K)

Dual wielding is a mid to late 90's meme. Lara Croft, Max Payne, Agent 47. Not really relevant.

Hopes and dreams for Hitman 3?

47 wouldn't have done such a sloppy job

That's only trouble if you believe that nothing should ever change.

Attached: let-go.jpg (500x500, 39K)

Well, you can either shoot, strangle, stab, poison, drown, explode, immolate, electrocute, throw off a building, have something fall on the target. That's not accounting for mission-specific story kills and some other mission-specific elements like acid tubs in Sapienza.

Switzerland
Hong Kong or Shenzhen
Dubai
Nepal

Continue improving their map designs. They are on a good path so far.

>unless you haven't completed one of the objectives.
There's a critical typo. You can restart the ET missions as often as you want UNLESS
>1. You COMPLETE any object (picking up a quest item, killing a mission target, etc.
OR
>2. You die.
If you die, you're fucked. Before completing ANY mission objectives, make sure your exit route is clear is there's no risk of encountering any trouble. Because once check off an objective, that's it. That will be your final chance to complete the level.

I want to see another Patient Zero-esque bonus campaign, one that incorporates locations from all three games.

Aside from that, I want them to scale down some of the missions. Missions like Three-Headed Serpent and Chasing a Ghost are just too long because they have more than two targets and they're all slapped in different corners of a huge map. And even when they make a small map like Whittleton, they try extending the play time by forcing you to collect stupid clues. It's like they learned the wrong lessons from â„¢1.

The jungle mission is kinda remade in Hitman2 018. Santa Fortuna includes almost every element of the jungle shit but in ways that actually make sense for a Hitman level. There's the drug production base with underground labs, a drug baron's manor, equipment you need to obtain from an airdrop, ancient temples, a murderous animal and fortunately this time blissfully little tribal weirdo shit. And you can escape with an aircraft.

If you think about it, girls in bikinis without sarongs just wouldn't feel right in the Hitman universe. I can't explain why. They'd just look out of place. And I'm an anime tiddy connoisseur, not a screeching SJW. But it just wouldn't feel right. It doesn't go with the style of the game.

Kill not by faking erotic asphyxiation, by actual erotic asphyxiation

>girls in bikinis without sarongs just wouldn't feel right in the Hitman universe.
You haven't played Blood Money, have you?

He may have said universe (which doesn't necessarily mean every fucking game ever), but we're not talking about blood money. We're talking about Hitman 2. And he's right.

How do I unlock shit like the Phantom Suit without playing ghost mode? Fuck that, it's the worst, most boring bullshit and I have to do it perfectly 100 times?

If you have a friend sit and grind it out together, just keep killing non targets so neither of you win and can rake up 100 kills in a single mission.
It took me and my friend about half an hour

Chasing A Ghost works because there are far more ways to lure each target out of their fortresses. In Three Head Serpent, the only way to get Rco out of the mansion is by unveiling the statue, which takes forever and can't be done SASO anyway. Don't even get me started on Jorge. As for smaller levels, I think it would have been better if there was a smaller level between Columbia and Mumbai. Having two lengthy missions that take hours back to back is fatiguing.

in the no-clip documentary they said if Hitman runs bad it's not because of the graphics card but because of the CPU handling all the AI. Still strange it runs good on console then. I think console CPU must be much worse than PC.

I'm tired of you faggots shitting on codename 47.
Sure it isn't perfect but it still has the second best atmosphere in the series after hitman SA and some real kino moments.

I would honestly love if they remade the missions from codename 47 and silent assassin like they did in contracts. Don't even care how much that pack would cost, would buy that shit in a heartbeat.

Attached: 1555596074730.png (2304x1024, 303K)

It's pretty fun once you get going. I always made it my person rule to not kill a target until the person did, to ensure we both got +1 to our kill counts toward the challenge completion. You only need a few wins for challenges. After that, you can chill and just try to make sure everyone gets their kills. Most of the games I played (random match-ups) were with people who picked up on my pattern of not killing first and we fell in sync.

Attached: 1545687307365.png (1920x1080, 1.51M)

these games are boring garbage. the only challenge is not falling asleep while you play

yeah ok, kill yourself ASAP though

Pressing ALT-F4 doesn't work. The game saves as soon as you complete an objective. That always-online save people love so much. ALT-F4'ing afterwards its extremely risky, at best. The expected result would be it won't let you retry it.

Attached: hitman.jpg (400x376, 36K)

I've started going back and doing Suti Only/Silent Assassin runs on all the escalation contracts that were mind-numbingly easy before because the rules were just way too loose. Some of them are really fucking annoying because they weren't made with Suit Only in mind. Some are flat out impossible because the requirements are to kill targets wearing certain outfits, but Silent Assassin itself can still be challenging if you limit yourself to only necessary costume changes.

Pic related took me about 10 tries to perfect a tactic to take Kreuger in the first 5 minutes. After that it was business as usual. It's fun approaching old stomping grounds from a different angle. Adds a little more replay value. Highly recommended.

>"Tell me, do you knit those sweaters yourself?"

47 is full of chad quotes and just behaves like a chad in general in every situation in this game. The only exception is when you use a disguise to try and sell a house to one of your targets, 47 spergs out about murder investigations when asked about each room in the house, that was stupid and out of character.

Speaking of Jesper Kyd I happened to see someone play Borderlands 3 recently and noticed that the music is pretty damn good for some reason. I looked it up and that game's music was apparently made by Michael McCann and Jesper Kyd. The two people responsible for some of the best vidya music in the last two decades. Their talent wasted on a looter shooter.

I have quite literally never in my life been as disappointed in anything as I was for Hitman Absolution, I didn't even finish that piece of hot garbage. I got more hours played in the sniper challenge pre-order game mode than the full game.
when HITMAN(TM) came out I was really ready to hate it, as a matter of fact I was so butthurt about Absolution, I wanted it to fail, even if it was good. but after reading a bunch of positive reviews and after all the "episodes" came out, and it went on sale I decided to get it, and I loved it and eventually I got hitman 2 after I was 100% sure it was similar to HITMANTM.
in summary, Absolution is fucking irredeemable garbage and secretly I'm still mad as fuck about it

Prison level.
Civil War reenactment level
Silicon Valley tech company level
Comicon level.

Dude I'm playing through Codename 47 right now for the first time since high school. It's fucking shit, the only mission that actually feels like a Hitman mission is Traditions of the Trade (and the Lee Hong mission to a lesser extent). The rest is just the developers trying to copy random movies on a buggy engine that doesn't support any saving. The Columbia act is the worst, it forms a third of the game and it's a shitty third person shooter romp with ridiculously large maps and final mission with a silly boss fight and a frustrating amount of guards.

with. not wearing gloves as a hairless superpro-hitman makes no sense

Same, my hopes were so high after BM and to have them fuck it up so bad made me almost not bother with TM at all.

I played the hell out of 2 and Blood Money but then never continued with the series.

I don't think they even realized how much damage Absolution did to their brand, HITMAN(TM) undersold Absolution by a huge margin and I'm sure a huge factor was that Absolutions sales came from how good Blood Money and HITMAN(TM)s lack of sales came from how insanely bad Absolution was.
I'm glad they at least seem to have realized how to make a Hitman game and I'm also glad the fans seem to realize that the new hitman games are on par or even better than blood money

The 7th gen was a dark time for a lot of vidya franchises. It'll probably be looked back on as the vidya industry's awkward teenage phase.

Yes, it was really fucking weird to hear this in a game about dicks and shits.
youtube.com/watch?v=T3AjRN8aE3s
youtube.com/watch?v=CHCbp9mzioU

I seriously doubt Agent 47 has fingerprints at all.

actually the main damage to TM's release was confusion over the release model. it's detailed pretty well in noclip's documentary, but the intro pack vs full episodic turned a lot of people away. IOI expected lots of people to dip in with 2016's intro pack and then upgrade to the full product, but (iirc) about 80% of sales were for the full experience, and not many who bought the intro pack did upgrade. people were just confused and/or not interested by that release model.

the game sold well through word of mouth, eg. here on Yea Forums then sales skyrocketed after the demo was released. hitman 2 was sold as a full package only for precisely that reason, and it sold well enough for them to open a second studio.

sure, I also think this dubious looking sales model of "episodes" ("lmao, just pay for the full game and get it over the course of a few months. or just pay more lol I don't care") didn't look good on a model people (like me) already didn't trust because of the shitty game that came before it

In the mood to draw Hitman. Fuck it, tell me your favorite targets in the series and I'll try to do it

Does 47 even have fingerprints?

There seems to be a random chance of them knowing where you are if the see the object you throw go through the air. Like, if they're facing forward, and you throw a crowbar over their shoulder, they will probably spin around and start yelling about littering. This system seems to ignore whether you, yourself, are in line of sight or not.

Draw Mr.Smith now.

Can't beat that subsonic trait. That gun is so overpowered.

Also, I really want a female 47 option. With all the outfits that the female NPCs where. The only issue is non of the guards are ever female. Does that make me a tranny? Do I have to go back?

> Does that make me a tranny? Do I have to go back?
Yes, go away.

This reminds me. I was playing Paris earlier and tossed a crowbar, and the guard was like "Command, there's a car alarm going off, going to check it out" or something. Poor guy must have had some sort of hearing disability.

Sergei Zavarothko

Unless you are walking to another blimp in a blimp train.

You could actually kill Pablo in the beginning of the mission if you still had your sniper rifle which made the level a lot easier

>get emetic grenade
>proceed to go back to every map and kill some target by drowning them in the toilet without having to poison them some other retarded way
>all those drowned/accidental kills flowing in now
jesus fuck this thing is OP. Also why does nobody seem to care im following them or that i am standing right behind them in the bathroom?

Might end the requests here, maybe one more if I see someone else reply

It has its historical value but feels pretty dated nowadays

The game was originally supposed to have saves but they removed them because they apparently made the game too easy

judging by your twitter and your drawings you are literally 8 years old or something, go back

Please shill your shit somewhere else.

dude it was never hard. use emetic syringe

HAS ARRIVED

I actually can't figure out how those are used so i just bean em in the face with this thing or chuck it next to them. If you know someone out with it and they get woken up they run to the latrine its rather comical

>can't figure out how syringes are used
was absolution your first game or something?

its not like blood money where I walk up behind you and stick you. I have no idea how to use the thing alright? Another question, when are we geting remakes of bloodmoney missions? I need to kill vinnie sinistra and his wife and poolboy 9001 more times

>its not like blood money where I walk up behind you and stick you
it is

doesn't work for me.
