And Inuart loses his ability to sing.
So how exactly does a Pact work?
Also forgot that Leonard turns blind
He can't even sing well in the first place. How is that a price?
Because it was the one thing he was better at than Caim, and the only thing Furiae liked about him.
Pacts make you lose something precious and critical that will test your mental stability, that's pretty much it.
Caim goes mute because main character memery, Inuart loses his ability to sing because , Arioch loses his ability to have children because it's the last nail in the coffin to make her go absolutely batshit crazy, Seere loses his ability to grow because he wants to be a strong hero to make up for the fact he let his sister get her shit beaten on an everyday basis and thus never will because he's stuck as a kid.
And Leonard loses his eyes because he was a legitimate pedophile and now he doesn't get to see kids and get off to them.
I think it's kind of a shame Yoko Taro went out of his way to demonize Caim and even compare him to Hitler. I got behind team Caim pretty fast, because I felt sorry for him at the beginning for stumbling around with mortal injuries.. He may be a mass-murderer, but the only people he's murdering are armed combatants, and they're all part of a brainwashed cult that wants to genocide the world. If it has a red eye, it needs to die.
It becomes pretty clear that Caim is an unhinged psycho when Furiae kills herself in front of him out of shame and his reaction is "ew, incest slut, better dead." and moving along to kill more things like a merry good time, granted.
Caim seemed pretty pissed at Mannah for making Furiae kill herself, and he had to leave because the Seeds of Resurrection were sown because of Furiae's suicide.
What was angelus even doing at Caim’s castle anyway
She had a hangover and needed a place to crash.
