is this the ultimate handheld? this is like a vita but 100% better, i remember being a kid with a gameboy color and i would have never thought that tech would advance this fast in only 20 years

this isn't a console its a handheld think of it like a PSP, now all Nintendo needs to do is make a non portable powerful switch

the vita has playstation exclusives that i like a little bit more than odyssey or botw. having ratchet and clank HD, sly HD, and my PSP library makes the vita better for me

i cant imagine playing game cubegames on a touch screen also gamecube emulation just feels wrong compared to the real deal

lugging around a controller with your phone completely destroys the point of portability and at that point a fucking laptop is more convenient for on the go

i use it mainly for the Ike fire emblem games, so the touch controls work fine. ive got a bluetooth as well, but havent used it yet

Seems pointless because the games will always be held back by their weakest system of the same lineup.
Example: Microsoft has been having problems with MCC updates because they need it to be able to run on the launch day Xbone.

There are foldable bluetooth controllers like pic related.
This at least makes it as portable or more portable than a Switch.

i think it could work there would obviously be games exclusive to the powerful switch much like with the 3ds and new 3ds

nintendo had no issue phasing out launch 3ds and 2ds models. xenoblade was the biggest 3ds game of 2015, and you needed a new 3ds or it wouldnt run

They can do that, but it is anti-consumer and would likely receive more backlash on a home console rather than handheld. I'm not saying they won't do it, but seems unlikely besides maybe a resolution boost. I don't see separate games coming out for different versions of the Switch.
Yeah, but there really weren't that many (from what I remember.) Maybe a few dozen. Again it could happen as far as getting better versions of the same games, but I think separate titles depending on your Switch model seems unlikely.

as a kid (7/8 years old) i thought Pokemon red was the best open world game in the world, i didn't even know what a RPG was i didn't even know where japan was located, how could i be capable of knowing that portable gaming was going to look as good as console gaming?

I can play the Evolution versions of the TitS trilogy on my Vita, as well as Zero, Ao and a buttload of Ys. I've also got some Metal Slug and Castlevania on it. My regular Switch docked already has enough trouble running games, why would I want a weaker version of that?
