Did you bought Lola's game?

Did you bought Lola's game?
Also Gunvolt thread I guess.

I have only played gunvolt 1 on steam. I know this is supposedly a spin off, but will I get any spoilers if I play chronicle first before gunvolt 2 came to pc (if ever)?

>Did you bought
I think I threw up a little

I wanna get iX, but my craptop probably can't handle those crazy requirements and I'm hesitant to buy a Switch.
>but will I get any spoilers if I play chronicle first before gunvolt 2 came to pc (if ever)?
Hell if we know. How exactly iX even relates to the main series is still being kept a secret. It's supposed to be its own thing, but...
I'm surprised you haven't been spoiled about 2.

I'll get it on the eShop when it comes out next week.

I don't think enough of the plot has been revealed yet to know if it spoils 2. For what it's worth, this game is intended to get new people into the series, since it's the first one to release on PS4 and Xbone.

"ADEPTS could be here" he thought, "I've never been in this neighborhood before. There could be ADEPTS anywhere." The cool wind felt good against his bare face. "I HATE ADEPTS" he thought. Platinum Protocol reverberated his entire armor, making it pulsate even as the black coffee circulated through his powerful thick veins and washed away his (merited) fear of superhumans after dark. "With rocket boots and a singing combat pod, you can go anywhere you want" he said to himself, out loud.

Even if the story turns out to be completely separate, Lola was created in Gunvolt 2 so you'll likely get spoiled on how that happened.

Technically, she was created even before the first game. They mention she stayed with Mytyl during the whole Gunvolt 1 shebang.

You know, Copen, with great power comes great responsibility. My father called it "Humanity's Burden." Myself, I just call it as I see it: the responsibility of the master to discipline the servant.
>Dr. Kamizono looks directly into the camera
The freaks, the monsters, the adepts... It's our responsibility to civilize them. And if we can't? Then we'll stomp them into the dirt. The day of the Bullit is near, Copen. We'll have every adept dead or with glaives in 10 years, and may I be killed in an electrical explosion caused by one of my experiments this very night if I'm wrong. God bless humanity.

Okay then, "introduced" in 2. And created "as a concept" in 2 alongside Nori, Mytyl and anything regarding Copen that wasn't his father. Actually, I wonder if Nori is in iX. I don't think they showed her at all, and while Copen did go solo in the epilogue of 2, it would make sense for them to at least be in contact over the phone.

Yeah, but her idol mode wasn't

Actually I have, but not sure to what extent. I'm still trying to get the most out of the content I have yet to be spoiled. Maybe I should have stayed away from gunvolt thread in the first place and ask again after the game is out.

Citra, exists, so you could just emulate the 3DS version of Gunvolt 2.

I have little hope Nori is in. I mean, I'd like it if she was but considering they are introducing Kohaku and her band of children as the new support cast I think they axed her. Then again, in the trailers they do mention the "Mystery of the Butterfly Effect" so watch as at the end of the game Copen returns to main timeline or something and we get a Nori in the ending.

Unless the game ends up going heavy into spoiler territory, all you have to know for sure is stuff that happens in the prologue mission of GV2. Joule's Muse septima gets split into several fragments and Copen uses one of the fragments on his combat pod Lola, granting her the ability to power Copen up by singing like Joule does to Gunvolt.

> And created "as a concept" in 2 alongside Nori, Mytyl and anything regarding Copen that wasn't his father
Nori debuted before 2 in a side story about Copen's encounter with Asimov, and Mytyl's existence was hinted at in Fleeting Memories (Dr. Kamizono was said to have both a son and a daughter).
Lola definitely wasn't conceptualized until 2, though.

>Nori debuted before 2 in a side story about Copen's encounter with Asimov
Didn't both that and the GV1 OVA (where she also makes a cameo) come out at the same time as 2, in its Japanese limited edition?

The written story was published about a year before 2 came out, but it got a drama CD adaptation that came with the Jap Striker Pack.

Can't decide on physical. Would love an artbook.

I've got the 3DS version that comes with the first two games.
Extremely surprised at how fun the gameplay is, and it has cute waifus as a bonus so I'm definitely checking all the games when I get time.

Speaking of artbooks, I was kind disappointed with the OCW. Most of the book is a compilation of stuff previously released in Dengeki Nintendo, and not all of that was even present (the worst case being Nova, with most of his concept art being absent).
Minor enemies also got the short end of the stick. There's only a few pages for them, with the majority of enemies not even having artwork. Contrast with the MMZ OCW, where every last enemy got official art.

>and it has cute waifus
Too bad almost all of them die.

Eagerly awaiting for the Lola bowling spinofd.

I played the first game and it was not any fun
Then I got to some black hole themed enemy and he had an unblockable undodgeable instant kill move
I just dropped the game there
Am I missing out?

Fine, did you buyed it or not?

Gunvolt 2 introduces a new character who is much more fun to play. Luminous Avenger is all about him.

>Then I got to some black hole themed enemy and he had an unblockable undodgeable instant kill move
Dude, just run. That's the easiest boss in the game.

>unblockable undodgeable instant kill move
Based Carrera filtering plebs with his not actually unblockable undodgeable insta-kill move that only required you to dash away at the right moment.

Attached: Carrera.png (2416x2916, 1.04M)

Pathetic. You haven't experienced true Gunvolt bullshit until you fight Viper and Nova in hard mode.

Seriously, the move is so easy to dodge that they had to make it harder in the Gunvolt 2 DLC.

does it have artwork for biker maid? it's a shame we only got the sprite in game.

So I just had to press dash at the right time? Huh. Was so many years ago I don't really remember it but I gotta say I feel like I spammed the fuck out of dash and it didn't matter. Probably would have kept at it or just googled how to beat him if the game wasn't impossibly boring. Wonder if it's still installed on my old 3DS, kinda wanna beat him and THEN drop the game out of spite.

>hope you get to play as her
>look up trailer
>have to play as edgy anime guy #2731
God damn it.

Similarly to most other black hole attacks in other sidescrollers, you get sucked into the incoming area of effect until a second or two before it activates, which is when you can dash out of the way. It's not even a particularly tight window in his case, there are much more difficult attacks to dodge in the game like the bullet hell-lite ultimate attack of the fire Adept.

It is pretty disappointing that it's missing a lot, but it still has plenty of interesting stuff we haven't seen before. Maybe they'll do what Mega Man did and release an expanded artbook eventually.

based thanks

>Similarly to most other black hole attacks in other sidescrollers, you get sucked into the incoming area of effect until a second or two before it activates
That makes a lot of sense when you explain it but I don't remember any sort of cue for that happening. In my (probably unreliable) memory he just sucked you in and then as soon as you touched him you were 0 HP.
The first time I thought it was a scripted loss like when you fight whats his name (Viral or whatever) at the start of Megaman X

>edgy anime guy #2731
Believe me, he's Coldsteel The Hedheg tier edgy.

why are so many shitty threads made by obvious ESL illiterates? do narcissism and idiocy go hand in hand or something?

I'm not surprised with that design. The trailer also makes the whole thing sound edgy as bismuth.

What is he scheming?

He's showing those Eden fags how it's really done

Why'd they change her name?

Attached: EASYWcGU0AIvnmz.jpg orig.jpg (1294x1796, 167K)

That's kinda what they do in this series.

No physical copies for Europe. It's fucked. I've bought all other Inti games. Guess I won't be getting this one though. I hate digital and it'd eat up my SD card too.

Just ship one from somewhere else, Switch isn't region-locked
