Try Titanfall 2, it has a great campaign. Some immersive sims might be to your liking though they are a very different kind of "shooter" if you'd even call them that. Prey was great but didn't push the envelope anywhere System Shock 2 didn't much earlier.

Go back and play Doom 1 and 2 (skip 3 though, it's shit) if you want more Doom-esque games try Wolfenstein 3D, Hexen, Blood, Star Wars Dark Forces, Marathon Trilogy, Duke Nukem 3D and the Quake series.
