when?
When?
4 years
you mean
Left 3 Dead?
never, valve will go bankrupt before then
It's called Back 4 Blood, and it has no release date yet.
Left 4 d3ad?
l3ft 3our d3ad
As soon as I win the lottery and Hell freezes over.
Do Yea Forums zoomers even know about L4D?
hopefully never since it will lower the (already low) L4D2 population, although it's been hovering at 10k-ish players for years now.
New spin off game: Left 2 Die
hopefully never because valve will shit it up with micro transactions, vermintide is significantly better co-op game with friends and while i miss l4d's vs mode it'll be shit with 2019 valves f2p cuckshit business model
Cancelled
God, Left 4 Dead was so much fun when it was released. I wish someone would make a game like it again.
vermintide 1 + 2 are way better than L4D if you're after the PVE co-op experience but there's nothing quite like L4D vs
3333 3333 3333
no they fucking aren't
Never, they kicked those guys out after they made L4D2 for them and said some years ago that the L4D series was complete and would never need another entry.
t. l4d or valve fanboy
More levels that are significantly larger and more interesting, better lore, more immersive, character banter is more enjoyable (although just as repetitive after awhile), more weapon variety, more challenge both in the form of in-level collectibles (tomes and grimoires) and difficulty levels, more enemy variety and more challenging enemies/bosses, unlockable items and level based challenges on top of difficulty levels similar to carrying the gnome to the end of the level on l4d2
i loved l4d and l4d2 when they came out and still do, but when it comes to the pve experience vermintide and vermintide 2 are just a significant step up and don't resort to micro-transactions like l4d3 inevitably will
Never. Valve can't count to 3.
Valve doesn’t make video games anymore
Take it from someone who's played L4D2 for ten years: nobody wants this. Also all that's left og the L4D2 community are old fuckers, retarded trannys/bronies/furries with little girl anime avatars, and the odd thot here and there that the old farts treat like queens because they're so fucking old and pathetic and do nothing but play this shit. I'm just a guy who's been around as long but only really bear witness to how shit it's all become. Actually I tend towards griefing people now that I've seem for years, because I think they're all just pathetic, and also because I find part of myself pathetic for sticking with the game for so long. If they do actually make a L4D3, you'll never hear the end of the current community "HURBADURBA"-ing about "NOT MUH LEF FER DED" which will get picked up by the game news outlets of a couple weeks, showcasing how the community is every bit as bumfuck old faggot and degenerates as I described, which will turn everyone else off to the prospect. Let the L4D franchise die with the dinosaurs.
>more = better
they have a fantastic foundation but mediocre execution mixed with neglect from the devs. I really enjoyed vermintide but it just felt unpolished and unfinished, no matter how many classes and enemies there were
when it comes to content in a replayable game, more typically is better (not always), in this case almost all of those things make for a better game that is more replayable and a more fun experience, the main flaw with the devs is long term support but the quality of the base game is high enough you'll get tons of hours out of it either way, i'm not sure what you felt was unpolished or unfinished but the first game especially was extremely nicely wrapped up both from a gameplay and lore perspective, leading perfectly into the second game
vermintide for me was a breath of fresh air since I love l4d but it just didn't stick with me because I felt like it was extremely frustrating and broken to find out the inner workings of the game. so many bugs, hitbox issues and idiotic "balance" choices which made a bunch of classes and weapons straight up useless. l4d is always that solid, simple experience that I can return to
l4d has/had just as many bugs/hitbox issues as vermintide and they always made for a laugh when they popped up especially in a tense vs game, falling through objects and "hanging" off random benches and things as if you were hanging off a cliff come to mind but i mean it's your opinion so maybe that's fair but it seems like you're judging them by different standards
>l4d has 1 way to play so it's good
>vermintide has 10 ways to play but there's 15 classes and 6 of them are useless so it's bad
sure if everything was balanced it'd be better but you're basically writing off the entire game because only "most" of the ways to play are decent
