How can he cut in half objects that are wider than the length of his sword?

Vibrates the molecules with such force that the extend beyond the physical range of the blade.

you run along it as you cut it

Edge.
Adrian Ross
He use Getsuga TenshÅ

I would assume this as well. The degradation of the structure and the fracture would carry further along atomic clevege points. Kinda like a cracked windshield getting worse over time as the chip runs along weakening parts of the glass, but super fast.

The air pressure caused by the force of the slash
Robert Brooks
Not interested in discussing realism in a game featuring superhuman samurai ninja mercenaries fighting robots the size of a building.

its just some gay anime shit bruh. nothing in the game is supposed to be taken seriously.

Snake, a high-frequency blade is a sword reinforced by a powerful alternating current and resonating at extremely high vibration frequencies. This oscillation weakens the molecular bonds of anything it cuts, thereby increasing its cutting ability.
John Fisher
Weakens molecular bonds? That must cut like a hot knife through butter.
Landon James
High vibration frequencies huh

he bypasses the RULES OF NATURE
Hunter Scott
Just like your nature is 100% pure unadulterated Buddha nature, Raiden's sword is no different from the Vajra Cutter and "objects" in the game are no different from ignorance. When ignorance gets cut, you do not care about its dimensions. When the veil of deception tears, it tears at every point.
Gabriel Green
metal gear rising was pure kino
Matthew Allen
Best metal gear game
Sadly sequel never
Chase Cooper
Unadulterated pure patriotic will.
Mason Williams
Why the fuck didn't konami get a sequel going when they lost kojimbo? That'd be the easiest way to make money while keeping fans interested and not offending anyone.
Isaiah Bell
Realism? Tch please.... OP wouldn't know a cockpit from a casket.
It's so obvious that OP should've figured it out earlier, I am having a hard time figuring out whether he is a troll or actually is that crazy.
A HF blade (High Frequency Blade) are not the typical average sword, the sword is using high amounts of energy to broadcast frequency, this allows for the sword to cut from afar without the blade coming into contact, it's the kinetic force exerting from the HF blade rather, that is doing the cutting at this point.
Which by the way in theory can become possible to replicate in real life.
Thomas Edwards
Pretty true and not sure. Prob woulda been shit without him anyway tho
Carter Rivera
Most of the MGR writing was by Etsu Tamari, right?
Also, Kojimbo said he wanted the sequel to have Gray Fox fighting zombies
