Only thing I wish it had were some reocurring items and the ability to tame animals
Some places are pointlessly stretched on for no reason, but it's still an enjoyable game...
That would be cool
So I haven't beaten the game yet, but I know the DLC introduces a motorcycle. Should I buy the DLC to get it? Or do I have to beat the game first.
Is the DLC even worth it?
I really liked the DLC, but I would rather use epona than use the motorcycle.
Just got a switch and have been playing a few other games, but after hearing about how good BotW is, finally got it.
Didn't get very far, just to the first village with the Sheikah but so far it doesn't really seem like a Zelda to me. The shrines are too samey, breakable weapons suck, and it just kind of feels like a Ubisoft collectathon. Not what I was expecting.
Am I just being too harsh? Does it get better?
they should have more world events like eventide and typhlo ruins or interesting locations like the forgotten temple instead of bandit camps out the ass. and 90% of enemy encounters are goblins or lizards; it would be more interesting if each area had its own variety.
>The shrines are too samey, breakable weapons suck, and it just kind of feels like a Ubisoft collectathon
Those points are absolutely valid, user. The game is flawed. I do think you're being too harsh, though.
Nah, it's a cool base game with solid mechanics and an enjoyable exploration aspect as long as it holds your attention.
Once you get the gameplay loop down it gets old real quick - at least it did for me. Feels like they were close to a fantastic game, and some of the moments are really cool. I'd say play until you really stop enjoying it, then just finish it up. Don't try and get/do everything.
Just started my third playthough since I finally got a switch and after 300 hours I am still discovering new shit.
>Yea Forums's is one person. The minority of people here that played it enjoyed it a lot. Some vocal, contrarian majority probably dislikes it, but they're just neck beards. Most people that don't enjoy things don't go out of their way to shit on other peoples' parade.
Fixed
I don't hate it. I just hate all the shitposting and I hate that the E3 gameplay made me look forward to something they absolutely didn't deliver on.
