Why do opinions on this game seem to range from 'genuinely one of the worst games I've ever played' to 'best game of...

it IS meant to be a parody

>The best girl doesn't even show up until you're 70% of the way in
user, Morag shows up pretty early on.

>Joseph Anderson
>The cuck who got assblasted that he couldn't kill one of the first hunts on MHW and gave up to play Subnautica

Why is this man relevant?

>got assblasted that he couldn't kill one of the first hunts
Seriously? I heard him say that MHW is not for him but I never saw him raging. Is it on his archive channel?

XC2 is unironically a homage, and parody of Xenogears. The director used a lot of Gears esque character archetypes, and references to deliver as much soul as possible, but the game really over loads with over the top anime moments that make it hard to take the game seriously. Up until Chapter 6, I was constantly wondering when the game would more exciting, and serious to boot. Vandham's death didn't even have as much of an impact on Rex as I thought it would, among other things.

Anderson is /ourguy/.

because the game starts getting really good towards the second half despite the first half of the game not really setting the stakes as high as XB1 therefore being seen as "boring". as soon as Jin/Malos start getting fleshed out the game really starts to find its own footing.
also the soundtrack is really good.

The people who says it's bad don't have the patience to play 60 hours before the game gets good.
Because If a game takes 60 hours for it to get good, it's not good

Good game but the threads have at least one dedicated shitposter trying to start wars between the different Xenoblade games fanbases when in reality most fans of the series like them all to some degree
