I really think a rep is a shoe-in by this point.

Although I do wish that we wouldn't have to confined to just MCs because Nemesis would be fun as fuck to play as. I want a big ass, hard hitting heavy with plenty of super armor and his rocket, basically like how he is in MvC. But I do think Jill would be fun to play as too.

RE characters are the most boring and generic human reps you could possibly put in, I'd rather Capcom put in more interesting characters like Amaterasu or Gene, even Kazuma from Yakuza is a better human character rep than any faggy RE character if we get another Sega rep.

One liner Leon happens in one game and was because of the US localization team, which is why RE6 and the two CGI movies have a completely different Leon to 4.
Jill is easily the dullest out of all the recurring MC, with the only time where she's a good character being the side game that was never meant to be a mainline game.

never going to happen. RE is too gritty for smash. there's a good reason snake was given a ton of explosives and gadgets but no firearms. it's the same for RE.
if you think they'd ever include nemesis you're even more retarded. it's a body horror monster with half its face mangled.
bayonetta was the one exception because despite wielding handguns she's clearly a fantastical unrealistic character. which is exactly why they will pack Dante or nobody at all.

Ever since RE2, they established that Chris was emotionally unstable with every game slowly gnawing at him emotionally, until he snapped in RE6. Even back during the ad campaigns for RE5, they showed Chris suffering from PTSD. Hell, the only reason why he got buff as fuck was to be able to stand a chance against Wesker, and that shit still didn't work. Compared to most of the series main characters, Chris is the one that suffer almost none stop with almost every game have him dealing with something personal.

The only times where Chris isn't a roided idiot is during RE1 he was still able to save his team, for the most part, and RE7 where he finally calmed down and learned to deal with his emotions.

I agree that he's a PTSD trainwreck. But even the reasons for his PTSD don't make any sense. He breaks down in 6 over the death of his team but after surviving the horrors of 5, CV and Revelations? That should be his daily bread. Not convincing. Feels way too forced and out of place for a bows veteran.
