However, if they are made on nu-Hitman style, they would need to be very big rather than just a contained single mission in a single locale like old hitman games, otherwise it would be too small and short like the Bank DLC. for example, a Ski resort mission would also require a local small resort town, an alpine hike path, restaurant that caters to skiers, a hotel, etc. Within one mission, otherwise it would be too small for nu-Hitman style.

Not saying Absolution was a bad game, but it was a straight up Splinter Cell game, had nothing that makes Hitman actually a Hitman game. If you want that stuff, then you should ask for a splinter cell sequel, not a Hitman sequel.

Absolution was unironically great. People who criticised it for its disguise mechanics, checkpoints and instinct are just shitters who played the game wrong. But it is very different from other Hitman games so I can see why people didn't like it.
