Project Zomboid

Pretty sure the game still sells enough that they don't have to abandon it. But the reason it's taking forever for any actual new features is because it's essentially part time work for everyone. They can afford to keep people on the payroll when that person only works 5 hours per week from home.

cdda was much easier to learn for me than DF. But I play similiar games pretty regularly.
Doubt that. First zomboid version got released in 2011. First CDDA got released in 2013.

Huh, i see. Well CDDA anyway looks more fun, even if looks like dogshit.

It has tremendous potential. They've made some very promising progress over the past year or so, mostly with the addition of cars and shit. Hopefully more major updates will come in the next year. I'm most excited for the animation revamp

can i play with friends over the internet?

Garbage dev team. Had zomboid since they were selling it on desura. They used to have NPCs back then, then they removed them and have been saying NPCS SOON!!!! for nearly 10 years now. Not to mention the game still feels barebones and clunky despite all the dev time. But hey they added more generic buildings so based!

CDDA is bloated trash, and it is not the same as Cataclysm which was an inspiration for Zomboid.

DF is just enough autism for me.

>Excited for the animation revamp
So was I. Three years ago.

Depends. There are plenty of tilesets you can choose from. It is still turn based game with tiles, but you can make it look pretty nice. Some tilesets even show all your gear on your character. And the equipment system has no slots so you can wear all the clothing you want.
Depends what you mean by bloated. Code wise? Maybe. Content wise? Debatable, since you can disable and change pretty much anything in the game.

>Its a more time to play the game, bigger the zombie hordes are episode
stop with that shit, they should be random.
