has anyone figured out a good keyboard layout for n64? or is it literally impossible?

Have you tried 1-2-fuku?
>stick = wasd
>a = j
>b = k
>left c = l
>right c = semi colon
>up c = u
>z = i
>r = o
>start = enter
>d pad = arrow keys
>l = y
Done. This is more geared toward OoT though.
here is what the best n64 emulator, mupen64plus, uses as default
Start = Enter
A = left shift
B = left control
Z = Z
L button = X
R button = C
C-Up = I
C-Down = K
C-Left = J
C-Right = L
>OoT
That's finna literally be a big YIKES for me bro
arrow keys and numpad for every fucking controller.
>arrows = stick
>home end delete pgdn = dpad
>num 1 = b
>num 3 = a
>num 0 = z
>num 4 = l
>num 6 = r
>num 7, 8, 9, 5 = c left, up, right, down
>enter = start
this is provided you have a non cucked keyboard with n key rollover and an actual num pad and not some fucking 60% sized memeboard
>tfw n64 emulation is still plagued with graphical/audio glitches and some games don't even work
>tfw project64 begs you for money and I'm too retarded to get mupen64 to work
a usb n64 pad will cost you around $15
Use different layouts depending on the game. It's not like the controller had a good layout to begin with.
