GU was probably remastered over IMOQ because it takes place later and they could add a new story. IDK how they could have done that with the originals given we already know everything that happens because of GU. They would have to retcon their own games.
CC2 wishes to continue the .hack series
I don't even want an IMOQ remaster. That stories been done to death. Link/Movie/Versus remaster released worldwide would handily do as well as Last Recode did. Largely out of curiousity in the west for not having gotten them the first go around.
A certain orange ninja series that lasted 2 gens.
>I didn't Play G.U. Volume 4 yet
You honestly don't need to. Its merely a .hack//G.U. epilogue. Which isn't saying much because Vol.3 had an epilogue. And then Returner was an epilogue. Its basically filler territory with a zero-explanation villian thrilling time-filling activities such as talking to every main character. Again. And again. And a third time. Who, by the way unlike Haseo, hadn't changed even a tiny bit in the year between 3 & 4.
>Who, by the way unlike Haseo, hadn't changed even a tiny bit in the year
Just like real life
For a series who's theme is "Grow Up" it made very little sense for like 30-some characters to be the same old, same old. That the amplify the emphasis of this by overdoing their old character personality traits sealed the deal on it being a "nobody matters but Haseo" thing. Yata should straight up not have been there. Period. Some random others shouldn't have been around either due to quitting the dying busted game.
