Easy, the traveller willingly wanted to imbibe such powerful potions, on his own terms, fully taking responsibility. As such, the potion seller in a totally detached and deterministic perspective should have provided the traveller with the requested potions, the effects of the potion on the traveller were SOLELY the traveller's responsibility.

Nothing implies that. He might have them, but the knight clearly didn't want any, he was very specific about wanting only what he ordered. I think some people just don't understand English words or something.

This is a fair point. The potion seller would probably know better than the knight. The knight's confidence that he can handle any strength of potion is probably misguided, and the potion seller was merciful, as his strongest potion may have well killed the knight.

No. Again, pay attention to words. The knight says multiple times he wants only the strongest potions. Only that. Nothing else will do. Nothing short of that will be considered. That's the order. If the potion the seller has that fits this order is too strong for the knight to take, then he should visit another seller with weaker potions. The strongest potions this other seller has in stock might be more suited for him.

He has a right to be a suicidal idiot but the Potion Seller has the right to refuse him. It'd look bad for business and maybe get him into legal trouble if he sold a potion so powerful it's like absorbing full solar radiation from the sun to that moron.

He could have a stock of "normal" high level potions that he sells to people as well as some crazy stock that he got because he bought shit in bulk or through reactions/experimenting. That shit happens all the time. He even says "no one can" which, if you stretch logic enough, could imply that it would take an entire team rather than one person.
