It's really upsetting to think that there is a new console generation on the horizon...

Xbox and Nintendo should just throw in the towel they'll never defeat Sony the PS5 is poised for domination yet again you have no excuse not to join the winning side this time

Sony, "xbox" and nintendo should throw the towel and stop forcing their childrens toys onto people.

Its not depressing at all. I enjoy PC gaming currently even if I dont have the best hardware. I also still enjoy games on ps4. I expect my ps5 will surpass my pc in specs, or nearly, and I'll still enjoy both

>PS4 was better than the average gaming PC at the time
This is the comparative power of the PS4's GPU. Its GPU is by far its strongest component, the CPU is literally a repurposed tabled model and it was far weaker than even i3s, let alone the i5s or i7s people actually had in gaming PCs.
2013 was the launch year for AMD's R9 2XX series and Nvidia's GTX 7XX series.
The PS4's GPU couldn't even match the mid-high models from AMD's previous 7000 series or Nvidia's 500 series. The only "gaming" PCs it was beating were the DotA/LoL and counterstrike toasters.

we aint doing geometry

So this is the reading comprehension of a rabid fanboy

Consoles will literally never be equal to or stronger than a PC can be because Sony and Microsoft know that a $2500 xbox/playstation wouldn't sell. You can't really do that much if you want your console to be affordable

Consoles make much more efficient use of their hardware though. Even if it's lower in a comparison like this the actual results are better.

>this lie again
lmao
>coded to the metal/efficiency
hasn't been a thing since the 90s
