It's literally the same thing. The game contains an abbreviated version of Evolution: The World of Sacred Device along with the full sequel Evolution 2: Far Off Promise on the same disc.

The only thing I remember from this game is you can slap bad guys with a Swiss Army knife glove thing. If the other games could let you do that, yes.

Yes, it's an xcom spinoff, its from the same guys, and all the different factions sound kick-ass. But the way TP is handled is too bizarre, you assign all your moves and they all play out at once including the enemy, it seems interesting but it never really felt right to me.
