I replayed this the other night and really enjoyed it. What did you think of it? Other than a few areas I think this is a great game. Some bosses could be improved and some paths were a bit too obscure, but I think this an 8/10 for me.

Other than that, I like this game a lot. Granted, it's been a while since I played it but I remember it being better than Super Metroid.

thats actually one of the things i had in mind writing this. up to that point though, most people are getting used to doing that to look for secrets anyway, so its a very fence sitting situation for me. it did piss me off regardless.
I think that the ridley boss needed to be in a larger room. its way too small of a space for a boss that large, and made an otherwise cool fight seem kind of like a clusterfuck.

locking areas off with colored doors sucked ass
walljumping being gimped sucked ass
the final boss reusing Super's 'saved by an entity' felt contrived
the water section where you had to bomb some part of the wall to continue sucked ass
