Why use GOG in the first place, just buy NoDRM games on steam
What about this platform that JRPGs don't seem to like? I'd use it more if It had more of JRPGs and visual novels
That was barely in English
they don't exist. Steam itself is DRM
Nips are really slow to adapt to new tech. Wait few more decades.
Japs in general (besides SNK and Playism) hate DRM-free with a burning passion and, until Steam, PC gaming in general. We're lucky to have so many PC ports from them.
Guess I'm confused, what's Steams own DRM? It checking that the account that trying to play the game is the owner?
Isn't it just gog now, because they sell new games too
GOG games are easy and straightforward to move around. You don't have to look for specific games and search for work arounds, just buy the thing and go.
Steam is way more fiddly, but everyone uses it so you can't play too many newer games without it. People ever stick freeware on Steam and link exclusively to it for some bizarre reason.
This, you can download an offline installer from gog, so you can install the game on all of your computers without a connection. If Steam dies and you forgot to download something, you will never get it back.
Nip devs think Steam keeps their games free from piracy, also it took them years to realize steam existed an promoted PC gaming, it will take them 10 years to realize the Epic Store exists.
