What about this platform that JRPGs don't seem to like? I'd use it more if It had more of JRPGs and visual novels.

>more of JRPGs and visual novels
kill yourself
no u
don't worry, my self-esteem is in the tank
i'll do it after you bro, faggots first
>good old games
>good
it's in the name dummy
Steam is more popular that's why
Are you saying the Neptunia series is good?
That's a platform for slav oldfags who play nothing but heroes3 and jagged alliance 2. Weebshit is not welcome here. Go back to steam or wherever it is you crawled out from
But there VNs are already on there like the fault series. It just needs more of the newer stuff
It has Falcom games, it's fine.
Why use GOG in the first place, just buy NoDRM games on steam
That was barely in English
they don't exist. Steam itself is DRM
Nips are really slow to adapt to new tech. Wait few more decades.
Japs in general (besides SNK and Playism) hate DRM-free with a burning passion and, until Steam, PC gaming in general. We're lucky to have so many PC ports from them.
Guess I'm confused, what's Steams own DRM? It checking that the account that trying to play the game is the owner?
Isn't it just gog now, because they sell new games too
GOG games are easy and straightforward to move around. You don't have to look for specific games and search for work arounds, just buy the thing and go.
Steam is way more fiddly, but everyone uses it so you can't play too many newer games without it. People ever stick freeware on Steam and link exclusively to it for some bizarre reason.
This, you can download an offline installer from gog, so you can install the game on all of your computers without a connection. If Steam dies and you forgot to download something, you will never get it back.
Nip devs think Steam keeps their games free from piracy, also it took them years to realize steam existed an promoted PC gaming, it will take them 10 years to realize the Epic Store exists.
>good OLD games
>hURr DUrR whERe DA neW gaEmS aT?
>Epic Store
Yeah no
It's not that. GOG is just autistic with what they accept on the site and it has no logic to it.
You must have not been on the site for the last 3 years, because nuGOG is absolutely flooded with weebshit.
If you think cdpr doesn't want new games on their platform you're mistaken
>still no invite to Galaxy 2.0 Beta
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
GOG is literally just GOG now, though. It's no longer a Good Old Games acronym. Happened some year or two ago.
it has the trails of games at least
True, on the other hand it's also true that they don't offer DRM-free builds anywhere else despite stores having such capacity, such as Humble Store or GamersGate.
>Neptunia rebirth 1-3 are on GoG
>Not the rest or spin off
>All the new ones are on Humble Bundle and not GoG
I hope GoG is not the blame for this
>All the new ones are on Humble Bundle and not GoG
They're just Steam keys, hence my point.
>Weebshit is not welcome here
Hahaha
Good game
Ironic that GoG has the best version of TitS
Steam does have some games with no DRM like the doom games, serious Sam series, System shock 1 & 2 and some other games. But yeah Gog is 10x better than Steam because at least Gog doesn't sell you broken ass versions of old games like fallout 1/2, Max Payne and You can only get the swat games on GOG.
I recently purchased Higurashi there. Some Suda51 games are on there, and there are tons of Japanese fighting games too. Not many JRPG yet, but keep in mind that having Japanese stuff on PC is entirely new. Even 7 years ago you couldn't find most Japanese games on PC. Only with the release of the PS4/Xbox one did games come on steam. I guess it takes a while until they are on GoG as well.
We will make it brother, playnite is too much a time sink for me
Really? Lol I got in the alpha for I think like 2 months now.
I'm not really into it though. it just starts the other launchers.
Jap publishers simply don't understand PC. They only know Steam. And Japs fear piracy. Try to explain no DRM to them.
