This is the best animated thing since Disney stopped doing 2D
Is 2D HD animation the most aesthetically pleasing style over AAA graphics, memepoly and pixel garbage?
Is this that /g/ guy?
No doubt if Frozen was a traditionally animated film it would have been a flop
On one hand, this looks good on its own, but on the other hand you would have to draw more tweens for a 30 fps game, and even more in 60 fps, just so it doesn't look jank af while the character is moving. See Sundered; stationary things look good, but when they're moving smoothly interpolated at the game's frame rate then the 10 fps animations look weird.

Just watch the midair melee swings on the main character, which is about 90% of what you do in this game.
of course it is.
pixel is not automatically bad. it can be done well or done like shit just like the other methods. yea its easier, but that doesn't make it bad
Honestly, my favorite style is 3d with lower than average poly count. classic shit from the ps1 and n64 days or phantasy star online/sonic adventure 2 at the latest
stuff that looks like megaman legends is god tier, but it doesn't have to specifically be anime like MML was
I really like the look of "mid-poly" AA games. Stuff like Nier: Automata and Life is Strange. Games that look reasonably good, but not hyperrealistic.
get this chink trash out of the video games thread
Retard
This is very obviously rotoscoped
