It's 15 minutes were up along time ago. Just another FotM that came and went like a fart in the wind.

Its massively overrated, just on par or slightly above Skyrim tier as a poor RPG.

Its combat and handholding alone is enough to justify calling the game a 5/10, at absolute best.

my recent replay of dead rising made me realize why witcher 3 and games alike are shit. they are 100 hours of nothing interesting in particular whereas dead rising is a continuous 6 hour escort mission with very little time for idleness. I realized that those 6 hours (and other +12 hours of repeated playthroughs) left me a more lasting impression than 100 hours of any given slog of an rpg. good fucking grief why cant games be short but dense instead of this stretched garbage model.

I personally didn't like the game, I don't think it's bad but it's not for me.
I expect making my own character and decisions in RPGs. Not play as Geralt, do what Geralt does and bang Geralt's girlfriend.
The gameplay isn't very good either, the combat is shallow and quests hold your hand like a paranoid single mother.
Also I don't think CDPROMGBBQ should be given extra credit for not engaging in shitty behaviour, that's what companies should do in the first place. No DRM is nice though.

The only flaws are combat (too easy even on hardest difficult) and feet/horse movements, something I can accept if everything else is great. Even the most repetitive shit, contracts, are enjoyable because of the plot around them.
