I think the most egregious thing this game did was put in two armor types, and if you use the wrong gun type you do absolutely fuck all damage, dump every bullet you have into one guy and you've chipped down one square of armor bad. Not only does it reduce your selection of weapons in half on any enemy, less than that because the pistols/uzis simply don't do enough damage to justify using under any circumstance no matter how much you upgrade them, it results in these situations where you run out of the "correct" ammo and you backtrack through the level looking for ammo instead of actually playing the fucking game.
Also throwing a knife/fireaxe does ten times the damage of any gun, no joke. Even the explosives or mounted weapons.
Also yes I only downloaded this because I just bought a new Nvidia card, already uninstalled. It's a travesty that this game has the Wolfenstein name attached to it.

Leveling in FPS and especially level scaling is cancer.

Rage 2's is pretty light on the scale considering most enemies outside of bosses die extremely quickly.
Wolfenstein Youngblood is like a weird notch above that where most enemies die as fast as they do in other Wolfensteins, and then in every encounter there's like one or two enemies that need their armor grinded down by using the right type of gun and then they'll melt once you get to the red bar.
Like on a scale from 1 to 10, where 1 is a normal FPS with zero RPG mechanics and 10 is Borderlands/Destiny, Rage 2 is a 2, Youngblood is a 6 and Shadow Warrior 2 is an 8.

There's no real gun looting in Youngblood since every enemy just drops coins you'll be picking up to manually upgrade your guns that you can upgrade at literally any time.

Meanwhile Shadow Warrior 2 is pretty fixed on damage scaling, leveling up is mostly for perks, and what you loot is modifiers you stick into your guns, so even early game equipment is pretty much on par with late game stuff.

Wolf 2had an amazing OST too.
