Not to sound too much like bait. But i never played it before. Seemed like a ugly, shitty, indie game for people with shit computers to play back in the day.

It's $27 and you can (and should) get it from the Mojang website instead of the Microsoft Store.
The Java version of the game is the oldest and most populated version, the C# version on the Microsoft Store runs a little better but lacks mods and players.
With games like Rimworld, Ark, and Dorf Fort I think you'll definitely like it.

The best thing about Minecraft (maybe the only good thing as of now) is that with the full version from the launcher you can try out older versions like the Infdev and Indev versions Yea Forums is so nostalgic about.
