rpgmaker combat engine is roughly 70th percentile for rpgs. status ailments and stat boosts are reasonably balanced, which is more than most rpgs can say.

This is sadly true. It still doesn't change the fact that even "70th percentile" combat is still garbage though. What I would give to see a 'real' JRPG with as much thought put into its mechanics as Cross Code.

I'm playing the 7th stand user. It's actually good, it's like playing the manga. In between the story and boss segments there's a lot of level grinding to do. It's not bad it just takes longer than I'd like to level.

I wish Shota x Monsters had a nonlewd variant. Shit is cash outside of oblig lewd scene per stratum, and party collection/dungeon exploration feels surprisingly Megaten/Etrian, with bosses requiring a fair bit of strategising/picking the right allies. Playing for the game alone actually seems possible. Just yeah, there's -that- content.

There's no actual CG yet and the sex options are somewhat limited.
I like the 'grinding' aspect, because the gameplay is not explicitly tedious and cleverly done, and since it feels appropriate to actually work towards turning the MC into a cum-guzzling slut.
There's management and RPG elements in there too, and it's clearly being made with a lot of replayability in mind for NG+ scenarios and such.

Doesn't the Magica heroine appear in Ariadne as a secret boss? I remember that she was naughty but not as naughty as you can make her to be in one of the endings. I think to get the true end, which she obviously achieves because she appears as a secret boss, she needs to have been canonically not a pure slut at the end.

I'm just surprised its not more common. And not just sprites of previous works like what we can see in some Acerola stuff. Cameos of previous characters in past works in later projects. For sure I know that Clymenia did this too. Liz and the Tower Town has the MC of Luxuria be the mentor of the main character. She has a sort of role in the new story. But for some reason I still feel that Ariadne did it so much better.

I tend to prefer games made with Wolf RPG Editor such as The Strange Man series and Mad Father but lately I have been playing an RPGMaker action game called Morimiya Middle School Shooting which is a sequel to Tag in the Hallway (it is a stabbing and slashing rampage game).

I liked the aiming mechanic and the replayability for better weapons and skills as well as to play as the anti-hero in Tag in the Hallway.
