It’s not bad by any means but lacks a lot of what made the original good. The plot is almost parody like with how dumb it is. The atmosphere of the mall never really feels scary like the first game and many parts of it feel really samey (the casino sections suck ass with how narrow they are). Movement feels sluggish and less impactful. Combo weapons make normal weapons completely pointless and force you to find a workbench to get a viable weapon. The bosses aren’t nearly as creative or memorable. The game also looks way worse than the first for some reason.
