>oooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, now I see why every fucking game uses the triggers as main buttons instead of bumpers.
So Yea Forums didn't lie after all. I like it. Thanks, user.
Also, controller thread.

Wait. What in the shit? Can you take a picture of that?

i've never liked the convex buttons on microsoft controllers
still usually use an xbone one if i need a controller on PC though because both of my ds4s are fucked up in different ways despite preferring it

I'm yet to buy a BT adapter. The one I used to have didn't work very well with the DS4, so I gave up on using a controller wirelessly on PC.
It's the most comfortable way to hold the DS4 for me.

You rest your fingers between the bumpers and triggers retard

Attached: PS4_9870050_07[1].png (1329x522, 244K)

gotta get that bumper gspot where you can hit both by just rolling your finger a little

This

the xbone controller comes with an adapter, where did you steal it?

this

And how are you supposed to press either the bumpers or triggers then?
Is this about the ds4 or xbox controller? If I put my finger between the bumpers and triggers on the xbox controller and press the trigger, my finger gets stuck between those two buttons.
Not all of them do. I chose the one that doesn't have it so I could pay less and try the controller first.

DS4, never held an xbone controller.

>He doesn't use 4 fingers to use both the RB and RT keys
It's great once you get used to it.

With your finger between them you can quickly just move em up of down.

My finger gets stuck on the DS4 controller when I do that as well.
I do that when I need to, but I think DMC5 was the only game where I did that recently. I also play claw, so I don't use those bumper jumper presets where it'd be very useful.
I just find it uncomfortable to hold the L2 and use the left stick at the same time.

you twisted motherfucker

>Is this about the ds4 or xbox controller?
probably best for any really but the xbox one is even shaped to rest your finger there.

Xbox 360 contrôler is sturdier

The Xbox one controller right shoulder button gave up after 3 months

>My finger gets stuck on the DS4 controller when I do that as well.
Shift your finger down/up a bit when pressing the buttons.

Just claw it, bro.

What for though? I've already said why I rest my fingers on the bumpers.
This is what I do pretty much, but it's still not exactly in the middle so that my finger doesn't get stuck whenever I press the trigger.

Only if you buy it in a bundle dipshit

>What for though?
idk man thats just whats comfortable for me. You do you brother.

use your left middlefinger if you need to hold L2

I never saw anyone do a claw in real life, how the fuck do people play like that?

Yeah, I actually sometimes end up doing that, but usually games don't require you to hold both l1 and l2, so if you switch those two, you'll only ever have to hold l1.
Idk, it takes some time to get used to it, but it actually becomes comfy after a while.

Dumbass retard

With time and practice.

i naturally claw

I just got one recently for the first time as well. I have never seen a more shoddy build quality. I can just see this thing having problems within months. Cheapest fucking plastic I've ever seen on a controller. I also feel like the sticks are a tad too long.

on the xbox one controller your finger should rest between the trigger and the bumper, almost like you rolled a ball down the valley of the trigger and it stopped against the wall of the bumper

I do this for Soulsborne games when I'm fighting unlocked. Move camera with right thumb, dodge with index on circle, strong/light attack with middle finger

For FPS, yeah

It's really only used for the psp, due to the d-pad being small enough to roll your index finger, any othe controller would probably be to difficult to do this.

Why when you're aiming and shooting way more than throwing grenades?

>I have never seen a more shoddy build quality.
Why? What's wrong with it? The bumpers do feel like they won't last for too long though.
The white DS4 looks so nice. Is it comfortable for you to press the R2 when you claw btw?
Yep, that's how I started using the bumpers instead of triggers actually; and then I realized it's just more comfortable for me to use my fingers on the bumpers.
>any othe controller would probably be to difficult to do this
it's not difficult at all; it does take time to get used it though
Are you sure you understand what clawing it? People claw to be able to jump/slide/crouch/reload/melee and move the camera at the same time.

>shitskin
>skelly incel fingers
>dirty nails
>obviously underage

The absolute state of Yea Forums posters

>>dirty nails
Stop right there.

The fuck are you on about? My Xbox one controllers have been the most solid ones I've had in years, not to mention the most comfortable to ever be released. Only Nintendo's pro controllers compare. Sony's controllers while decent just cramp my hands.

>it's not difficult at all; it does take time to get used it though

Yeah I know that (also I forgot the're a few uses outside of handhelds like with Soulsborne) but really I just don't find enough use out of it, to predominantly use it is all. I'd say it's time to retire the claw and just get bumpers.

Only time I have ever clawed was for the flight sections of NieR: Automata, to continuously shoot in whatever direction while spamming melee. Shit ain't comfortable and Grun sucked ass.

I don't think I ever felt like I needed to claw in NieR, but I also messed around with the button layout there.

I did too but I'm not going to reconfigure it each time I swap between ground and flight. Already have to deal with swapping chips but those can at least be saved. Alternative is to have fire always bound to a face button but that sucks too.

>Alternative
Wait, no. Have to use right stick. The alternative is to have melee and fire bound to shoulders.

This shit looks uncomfortable.

I don’t know how people play soulsborne or fps without it though

The triggers on the DS3 were so shit a lot of devs decided to use the shoulder buttons instead.
I have never used a DS4 but I'm guessing it's the same shit.

I do that for dark souls because I wanted to sprint by holding “B” and be able to turn the camera with the right analog stick. I do it subconsciously too. Weirdly I have a lot of trouble clawing the controller in other games.

Nah, I actually have to switch l2 with l1 in pretty much every game

>do it subconsciously
Same.

With the new Xbone Two coming, what changes or improvements you think they'll do to the controller?

Kb+M

>somehow an adult doesn't know how to hold a joystick

that's how ds4 was designed

Honestly the current one is really good, my only complaint would be that the bumpers feel bad compared to ds4, like pressing along the outer ring isn't guaranteed contact and I think they should make actuation consistent throughout the whole of the bumper

Most likely ergonomics.

Hopefully buttons on the back and better bumpers.
>controller thread
Keep in mind that I’ve used another controller for many years and obviously I tried to hold my new one the same way first before someone pointed out it’s not how I’m supposed to hold it.

You should try the elite Xbone controller.
It's a bit overkill but it's a rich man's controller.

Attached: XboxElite.jpg (1040x585, 70K)

The bumpers need to be tighter like the switch pro controller. The current ones have a lot of give and are very loose.

you get arthritis

never trust sony fanboys
their controllers fucking suck

Their controllers also have drifting joysticks.

Keep in mind that the new one is already on the way.
It happens to all of the modern controllers.
