It's easier in ffxiv than other mmo's I have played. Just don't feel guilty about leaving free companies if you don't think it fits you.

Just don't get too much into /vg/ guilds or /xivg/. It's all cliques, degens and mentally unstable/manipulative people.

FF14 is the worst if you're looking for friends/groups to play with.
It has guilds and inside that linkshells which are just private groups/channels.
Also being Jap as fuck it's filled primarily with weebs who are notoriously antisocial and antagonistic.
Also it's a pretty dead game contrary to the Shadowbringers spam.
