I actually got over Tifa's makeover after about a day. The new look doesn't bother me as much as it did a lot of other people. But this thing going on with autocomplete is a lot more important.

No, the algorithm is working as it's intended, tifa was just an unexpected causality. The algorithm's job is to silence and hide voices on youtube google deems unacceptable, they've stated publicly that they're doing this, it just so happens those voices mentioned tifa for a period of time, because muh SJWs censoring muh stuff, and so she got buried along with them.
