Why don't you have vr yet Yea Forums?
i'm broke nigga
Name a good vr exclusive 20hr+ game.
Because it's a gimmick and every time you ask "why don't you have VR?" you're secretly trying to justify your purchase of the one you have yourself, but refuse to admit it doesn't have any real games or that it doesn't have a future in the gaming marketplace.
t. someone who bought an Occulus and sold it off after becoming bored with it in a couple weeks
my pornography addiction is already bad enough
That's not the usual Blade and Sorcery. What is it?
That's a good thing though user, just think about training a little girl's mouth with your dick.
i don't care. i didn't fall for the 3d tv trend years ago that everyone wasted their money on and im not falling for this
Its a complete fucking meme. Call me again in 10 years.
Because I'm waiting for the headsets to not have visible pixels.
I played enough Wii games to not care for waggle anymore
Mods
>Little to no room in my house for the movement
>Feel awkward about flailing around IRL while wearing a helmet to play a game.
>Already have a large number of games I need to play/finish
>Not that many games
>Expensive, would actually have to use it often enough to feel like it's worth it
What do you mean by training?
too expensive considering no games
Why does it have to be VR exclusive? Why does a single game have to offer 20hr+ of gameplay?
is this a tron legacy game
Well my guess, because VR exclusive means it's not skyrim or a game that was built around VR, not around keyboard and mouse/controller and then "adapted" for VR, and because those games don't tend to use VR's full potential. and 20+HR because some people like story/longer games/have something to play that isn't the same stages over and over again because the game can be finished in around 5 hours.
It's a VR game that reminds me of audio surf, since the concept is pretty similar, you select a song and blocks/obstacles come at you, you dodge and hit and that's about it.
Because why would I buy a vr set if I can play the game on another platform I (presumably) already own.
20hr+ is to weed out all the shovelware boxing and silly simulator games. Besides, any game without at least a 20hr volume is not a console seller.
>the same stages over and over again because the game can be finished in around 5 hours
But those are the best kinds of games. Those are the kinds of games people pump hundreds or thousands of hours into. The ones that can't be "finished." The ones that invite you to play more by virtue of the gameplay alone, rather than basically being a 3D movie that's strung together with seconds of somewhat passable gameplay.
This is true for games like Rimworld, Simcity, RCT, TF2, etc. VR has not game like this.
It adds a lot to flyan and drivan games. Absolutely worth the $300 or whatever for those alone. It's up to you as an individual to assess if a product is worth your money. No product is going to be for everyone, nor should it be. That's why vidya is such a goddamn mess right now. Too many devs try for mass appeal.
I posted an image of beat Saber because it's a VR exclusive I've only had for a few weeks and I've already put more than 20+hr into.
>TF2 Rimworld SImcity
>5 hours
While they might be fun games, I disagree, a rimworld playthrough can take alot longer than 5 hours, especially if you're not rushing, TF2 might as well not count, it's multiplayer, and all the playstyles you have in it makes it fun enough to go through, simcity, again takes more than 5 hours unless you're rushing. If a game is fun enough that yuo'll replay it multiple times because it only lasts 5 hours, sounds like a game that should take longer than 5 hours to finish. And you wish it was so you play it over and over.
i don't think they specifically meant 5 hours, that was just a number they threw out.
I actually want my favorite games to get VR support.
Even if Alien Isolation only offers a ghetto mod VR experience it's so much better in VR than in 2D.
I wish more devs would do it. Obduction was great. Subnautica was great. It's too bad the new Subnautica won't have it because they don't want to half ass it and have it be shit like the first one, but I'd rather have shit VR support to dick around with than none. It was still really fucking cool.
Same reason almost no one else has it: It's retardedly expensive.
Like what the fuck was Valve thinking releasing a new VR set which is EVEN MORE expensive than what they already had? Do they really expect to find a market for this when it's unattainable for normies?
I have 80 hours in h3vr and havent even begun to get tired of it, and they're still adding more to it
>I'd rather have bad VR than no VR
Case in point, this is why he said "dedicated VR game" because they don't implement the VR as well as they could, Being able to flip tables, throw objects, interact with weapons in debth, touch and grab things and people all that good stuff, not being possible because the game is built around controllers/mouse keyboard, although you might have some degree of it with mouse, to be fair. But still not quite to the extent of VR controls.
retarded comparison.there are shitty roguelites and grindfests like slay the spire or deadcells and there are simulations like df, rimword where you can actually experience new shit for long time
completely different types of games
