What if it's not actually 2deep and just doesn't make any sense because Miyazaki's a hack?

The Moon Presence motivations are never explained in the game, and that is the main villain who directs the payer actions

Probably the case desu

It's a good game.... even a great game. But, it's not the end all be all the PS4fags make it out to be.

What's the definitive PS4 exclusive then?

Miyazaki has explained that the stories are actually confusing because they get lost in translation from him to the people actually making the games. Sekiro's was a lot clearer because he was more hands on with the whole project.

>Exclusive
Is playable on PlayStation Now on PC.. and is actually very playable.

So, now what?

Nice excuse nerd

RDR2

No, the themes are absolutely there.

But Bloodborne's story is as easy and cohesive as Sekiro? It's the DkS games that are needlessly cryptic.

Pc turds:
>I PLAY ON PC FOR BEST EXPERIENCE! 8K! 500FPS! BEST IMAGE!

also PC turds:
>WELL WHO CARES IF ITS 30FPS WITH STREAMING INPUT DELAY AND REDUCED IMAGE QUALITY, ITS PLAYABLE STILL!

It's got themes, but no plot

true, but I would argue that the Dark Souls story only became needless cryptic because of the sequel baggage. the story of DS1 on it's own is just as easy and cohesive as BB, perhaps more so since you don't need basic knowledge of Lovecraft in order to understand how the dreams work, among other things

Who said anything about PS4 exclusives? Snoyboys always go on about it being the greatest game of all time on any platform.

The plot's a bit minimalistic but it's there. You uncover an occult ritual, kill some evil gods and, depending on the ending, ascend to godhood yourself. Admittedly, the game's actual substance is exploring Yharnam and learning it's history. It's a bit like Bioshock in that sense. Exploring a weird city and learning the story of its downfall.

>no plot
stop spreading this meme

Isn’t one of Miyazaki’s big things that he likes the “story” to be told in contradictory or pointless fragments because that’s how he experienced western literature?

yeah, that was it
he didn't get the full story from western media as a kid because of limited language knowledge so he often made stuff up himself

yes, and that's a big part of what makes his stories great

>yharnam stone quest line cut
>ring of betrothal quest line cut
>boss names/lore changed at the last minute
>tons of bosses cut
Like with every other souls game, the plot isn’t deep but rather a butchered mess stuffed in and around boss battles.

Honestly prefer random shit that is just cool with basic character motivations and a handful of context clues. It’s far more tolerable then how latter games made lore niggers run fucking rampant

>pointless and contradictory fragments
That’s literally all religious texts in existence.

>WELL WHO CARES IF ITS 30FPS WITH STREAMING INPUT DELAY AND REDUCED IMAGE QUALITY, ITS PLAYABLE STILL!
so what you're saying is that it's exactly like the console version?

>take shitty console graphics and performance
>shove it through a fucking stream to make it even worse
PLAYABLE!!!! CONSOLETARDS BTFO!!!!

edgy

The way the narrative is delivered and the concepts is what's cool. It's not deep obviously, there is bearly any dialogue or text in the game.

but its not 2deep and it actually makes sense, there are only a few things left without explanations in the game
its just the way the game offers its story and lore that makes it seem "2deep", some people like it and others think it just doesnt make sense, its actually not that difficult if you pay attention, especially on multiple runs

>bearly
n-nani?

>everything is dependent on player's interpretation
fucker is worse than modern art
