"Removed splashes referencing Notch"
OOF
So Yea Forums likes Notch now? I thought he was a lazy piece of shit that took vacations instead of actually developing Minecraft.
no he's based since he hates women and minorities now
Oh no! Not the removal! How's he going to enjoy his millions now? Nooooooooo won't somebody think of the children???????!
Notch sold Mojang and Minecraft to Microsoft for billions of dollars.
Microsoft have no obligation to reference Notch in the splash screen.
It's very simple.
makes sense to me. that fat ass hasn't done any work on his Infiniminer mod in a decade
Jealousy. He's a lazy, fat, greasy Yea Forumsirgin but he actually got off his arse and made games instead of just talking about them.
Not all of them were good.
Most of them were shit.
One made him hundreds of millions of dollars.
He's not a Yea Forumsirgin, never was.
But then these days most people here are just crossposters from other sites anyway
>the notch splashes are gone
>but the Yea Forums splash is still there
hmmmm
stupid unfunny frogposter
I'm guessing his shit was taken off minecraft because he said nigger or something, its been happening to everyone in everything. Which would mean Yea Forums likes him now.
Legacy is more important than money
Corporate boot licker
Can't have little kids see his name and look him up. He has been saying some problematic things on twitter.
>in a decade
That can't be right...
>Minecraft was first released to the public on 17 May 2009
Jesus Christ
see
never forget that before discovering Infiniminer and stealing it notch use to make mobile cancer for King
>new owners of minecraft distancing themselves from the deluded poltard
Shocker.
>B-but his millions
Yeah he sure is enjoying them, staying at home and posting on twitter like any broke-ass bitch nigga.
no shit. i got the same life being unemployed and leeching off my mother.
>tell people to pay cash for a fucking alpha
>drop all support when enough suckers make him rich, then sell his product to a big publisher
>be praised by the suckers you fooled 10 years later because of tweets you made
someone post the party mansion
Either you don't really care about "legacy" or you're a fucking retard.
Do you honestly think by removing Notch references from the main menu no one will know he created the game? He's still listed in the credits.
Microsoft can't "erase his legacy" you fucking retard. Everyone will always know Markus Persson created Minecraft. A one-in-a-million chance of reading a random line referencing him on the main menu doesn't affect that at all.
Kill yourself.
>All the candy in Notch's candy wall went bad because there was no one around to eat it.
Thats what historians said before jews revisioned what happened in the Holocaust
Someone post these supposedly terrible things he said that Microsoft has to erase the splash screens for.
The reason they can't remove him from the credits is because it would be legal problem to do so, besides no one reads the credits.
He sold the game. Fuck off.
Yikes
Anyone interested in the background of Minecraft will always find Notch. Always.
The "muh legacy" argument is nothing but retardation.
How many different splash screen quotes are there? How many people actively read them? How many people are going to look them up to see what they reference?
How fucking stupid does one have to be to unironically claim removing a few references to Notch is "erasing his legacy?"
I didn't say anything about legacy that's the other person, I was just commenting the fact that he's not removed from the credits not because of choice but legal obligation.
I'm pretty sure if they could remove his name they would, it's clear they want to distance Minecraft from him.
>Legacy is more important than money
t. retard
What a joke. No different opinions or criticism towards our glorious globalist ideology is allowed.
...
Sure. I agree with all of your points.
I'm just interested in how people substantiate what Microsoft "should" do.
It seems like a lot of people here feel like Microsoft "should" leave the Notch references in, but can't give a single reason WHY they should except for muh legacy, which we've already established is embarrassingly fucking retarded.
>Even if I were to "make it" and make hundreds of millions of dollars I'll still be the same loser I am now.
Money doesn't really change who you are, it just changes what you can do.
The one exception is that if people know you're wealthy, it changes how they interact with you. It becomes nearly impossible to tell if you're making a genuine connection to a person or they want some of your money.
>All notch's story has done has told me that it isn't worth really trying.
You just need a better understanding about which actions will cause the effects that you want. Money doesn't give you friends, social skills give you friends.
This happened forever ago, why are you posting this like it just happened? Did Notch fuck your gf or something?
