Seems like MGS drones love movie games, but like to pretend they like games.
Even though they praise MGS1, 2 and 3 which were movie games with horrible gameplay, some of the worst seen in the stealth genre.

Anything with great atmosphere, superb sound design, and a thick sense of intensity/tension. Far Cry 2 & Dead Space are probably my two favorites. I also think sports games are great for this, but those are admittedly niche.

FTL and Civilization. Slow paced and great music, also easy constants problems to solve so your toasted brain can get the dopamine hit and feel smart.

MGS games have the worst stories I've ever seen. They can't possibly be played for the story, it must be in spite of it. Therefore, I assume MGS games have the best gameplay of all time.
