I don't even know why DEX is a trait connected to bows and arrows.
Bows require a muscleman to maximize pull for the best distance and the best force projection via arrow AND the stamina because bows are fucking atrocious to the musculature and spend the muscles like a fire does butter, and the bigger the bow the more useful in battle and the stronger the wielder it requires.
The entire RPG attribute system needs to be rethought, it's fucking retarded.

I see dex more as pinpointed training. A dexfag focus on what he needs to most. So while a strfag can pull it harder, a dexfag has more control. He'll be able to gauge distance better and just generally have a better shot.

I'm fine with dex affecting rate of fire and accuracy if bows had strength requirements. This way people who ignore one stat in favor of the other will have about the same DPS and the Ubermensch who level both stats will be spitting arrows like a machine gun with armor piercing rounds.
