>you've rented my favorite book for all of five minutes givE IT BACK
The Angelic thing is buried but here is a bunch of people referencing it.
>bloodstained.forums.net
Apparently at one point people were guessing and Ange went
>NO! NOT HIM!! (ANGELIC MUAHAHA)
Then used that again in regards to the Child of Light music.
okay well it was supposed to be this image but well here we are
THIS IS A LIBRARY, NOT A BOOKSHOP
Yeah but it does not make any sense.
> Dominique found in resources
> Child of light teased
> Dominique refuted by devs
> but at the same time they stated it will eb Bloodstained character
> so it cant be Aurora
Wtf
Dominique being in resources could probably be a scrapped idea. Or maybe it's part of that boss revenge mode. Her and Bloodless are the most humanoid and will probably be the first ones they work on for that.
As for the Child of Light music? You got me there. I'd be majorly pissed if they made the third playable character Aurora of all people.
The point is you're not supposed to leave with the book. You can read it in the library but leaving with it is what sets off his autism.
Anyone who defends the swimming shard is a faggot.
Anne as CoL is a good idea
Aurora may likely be a costume-change for Miriam like Shovel Knight is, or possibly a new Familiar.
I hope, if we ever get a re-release someday, that Iga will add in elemental affinity/ elemental bonus skills in addition to the existing resistance passives that we already have. I like the idea of being able to specialize in specifically one element's damage, and beyond just the elemental rings and tiaras. I want to throw on Darkness Boost when I'm using Void Ray and Light Boost when I'm using Tis Rozain, as some easy examples.
It really doesn't but that's probably more on Angel not being that good at giving cryptic hints and instead reveals things he shouldn't then when he tries to backpeddle it makes a mess.
>you're not supposed to leave with the book.
I.. I don't think O.D. really 'gets' this whole librarian thing.
TIL theres a bloodstained forum.
If its an OC evil angel character, I guess that's cool. But I was really hoping for one of the main cast.
>it wasn't a mermaid transformation shard
>we'll never get swimsuit miriam
I see that you are also back from the last thread
Are you sure the dev wasn't just being a sperg and referencing their own username? Or is their own username a hint?
The forums are dead so don't even bother with them. They all jumped ship to the Discord and the people there are useless when it comes to anything.
It's his favorite book that you are possibly taking to fight the king of hell
Angel used it multiple times and only specifically when referring to the third playable character and the Child of Light music.
Nonono you FOOLS. DiO placed himself right infront of the last boss fight because he knows defeating that will get rid of the cursed castle as a whole, so taking his book there means you wont be able to bring it back
What if 3rd playable character is the fairy slut
Jesus those forums are packed with retards
All lewd mods are trash. I'm waiting for the mods with patrician taste that replaces spats with pantsu
I want a mod to put The Valkyrie boots on the vanilla dress.
Is that Walucard?
Nah I legitimately always returned books before boss doors prior to actually fighting him because I never knew when I'd hit the 'final' boss per se. (There could've been an opportunity to explore between Domique's fight and the Bael fight for all I knew.) When I fought the pair of final bosses for the first time I had no tomes in my inventory. I then went back in post-game to get them back, then found the post-game Tome of Conquest and gave it a shot, only to notice a new boss door in the Frozen Tomb when I was grinding a few shards out around there. So, I went back to O.D. and returned the books because I didn't know if this might be some alternative ending boss, given that it only showed up in post-game and in the pathway to the normal final boss no less. When I returned to the Tomb the boss door was gone, so I kind of put two and two together given that the only thing I had altered was returning the books, and O.D. had given that spergy stern warning about returning it. So, yeah, no. If he had even the slightest bit of manners he could've expressed these hypothetical concerns about the book being in the final fight with Bael civil and I would've handed it right back. I'm glad I got to cuck him out of his own library as revenge, since he clearly cares a lot about it.
Wait til you see the Discord. It's the worst I've ever seen.
Actually that does make alot of sense, what the fuck

Fill the poll to get your favorite character playable in sma- I mean Bloodstained
Third playable character was shown to be Johannes back when the kickstarter was first getting off the ground. He already is a young Iga lookalike.
I was hoping it would be something similar to the developer commentary run of portal, with every aspect of the castle being elaborated deep in his journals.
Yes
How big is she for Miriam?
>Third playable character was shown to be Johannes
>Playing as this loser fuck
He better fucking die and sprout angel wings because he's about as interesting as a sack of potatoes. Shame, because I found him to be cute in concept art, but he turned out to be a complete itembot orbiter.
>What the fuck was his problem?
Crystals growing out of his body, didn't you watch the intro?
Please be a Plague Knight ripoff
W-what do you mean
>the one dead last in the poll, beaten by Linsay, Susie, Todd and fucking Benjamin ends up playable
my fucking sides
Orlok-kun isn't a shardbinder you baka
Personally I loved the creepy feeling I got when he asked me "Staying up late tonight?" And felt a bit uneasy when i heard the sarcasm hours later with "Waking up early huh?"
What other techniques could be added in the sequel? Whips, Rapiers, and Boots need more moves. Also could they add little quirks to some weapons, like boots boost your speed, and whips let you scorpio drag and zip to enemies.
Please never design a game.
NO confirmation, they knew Zangetsu was going to be the second one back then, probably was just put in there because of the lack of art assets and concrete ideas
Please for the love of fuck give greatswords more techniques, or at least the helmsplitter that katanas already have
Wah, he is
You're still retarded and we still laugh at you for not realizing swimming enemies might teach you how to swim. Keep sucking that dick.
I still think that if not Dom, it should be Todd as the third playable guy.
Look back at Curse of the Moon. The Trevor role is split between Zangetsu and Miriam, Alfred and Gebel are Sypha and Alucard respectively, but poor Grant gets the shaft as always. Just slap Todd into his role as the speedy acrobat and there you have it.
you put way too much thought into those statements. He's a very face-value type character.
do you have a link or image
>I loved the creepy feeling I got when he asked me "Staying up late tonight?" And felt a bit uneasy when i heard the sarcasm hours later with "Waking up early huh
Jesus fuck, imagine playing a female character and LARPing this hard on his tranny dream
dilate more
That's not Gerbil
You know, as fun as playable Todd sounds and as much as I like the idea, it'd be a problem that it's hard to tell him apart from the enemy Killer Barbers
fuck off back to /pol/. We are discussing videogames here.
If they made a sequal id want a diablo 2 depth RPG, get to chose the range of shard colours you can use, or min max with weapon stats and have no magic at all.
You could go classic whip expert and use the spell aim to swing around, throw daggers and have enough speed/alchemy to be ready to outwork anything. Spear and Katana fags complaining about eachother all day long.
Make it 4 player splitscreen co-op and have you all start max distance away in the castle. Going to have to trade away a good portion of what made the castle design shine, but Id how the team could actually move forward in the development world, maybe even fix the roguelike meme.
That's the image I posted earlier, lmao.
And what does that have to do with Johannes?
Johannes and Dominique are the same person.
Third character is not Dominique, it's exorcist Dominique.
The dev that said it wasn't Dom was obviously playing semantics since "Dominique" in the monster list refer to shardbinder Dom.
Genuinely baffling that user can be this convinced he's in the right when everyone else is saying how easily they put it together. I guess what they say about modern gamers really is true, hold their hand or this happens.
>Y-YOU GUYS ARE JUST GRINDY AUTISTS! IT'S NOT MY FAULT THAT YOU GUYS THOUGHT OF SOMETHING THAT I DIDN'T, IT'S THE GAME'S FOR NOT PUTTING THE ABILITY RIGHT OUT IN THE OPEN OR ON A BOSS!
Out of curiosity, have you ever made it through any old school point-and-click adventure games, like maybe Monkey Island or Sam and Max? I can't imagine so with your attention span, but still, if you have I'd like to know how much you struggled.
The enemy barbers only hang in one small area of the castle. I doubt it would be more than a minor inconvenience.
I don't know how to tell you man but if you just looked hard enough
I did, there are no mods that ONLY replace spats with pantsu.
Fucking this.
are you that guy who said that you should move in the same direction you're aiming with the shard?
>waiting for the mods with patrician taste that replaces spats with pantsu
Bloomers, not spats (bike shorts)
It was literally the last thing I thought, because there is no precedent for it. Went all around the castle looking for a room I might have missed.
>bro just grind this common jellyfish enemy he obviously would allow you to do something major like swim
Even the devs aren't as much of a faggot as you because it was planned to be on a boss.
I got through all of the games you listed no problem. Maybe because I didn't have years of experience telling me to not bother looking for swimming in a standard mob.
spats are better though, you simpleton
People might be pissed If that were the case, but not as much as it would be like If they choose a third party character
No, that is not what boomers are. Boomer are free-flowing, her spats are tight - that's why they are spats. Just because there is some ornament added does not make them bloomers
No, I like how it controls.
Everything point out Dom as the third playable character, people may be disappointed but not pissed since they saw it coming.
He got the AT treatment
PR confirmed it isn't her though.
Nah, just some sperg that couldn't figure out that you have to kill an enemy to go in the water and said the game is bad, he got BTFO'd last thread so now he is back at it
Good. That half-vampire has no place getting into Smash before a proud, rugged, truly manly Vampire Hunter... and also Richter.
>Even the devs aren't as much of a faggot as you because it was planned to be on a boss.
Source me up faggot, there's no evidence of a 3D model of CotM's turtle boss ever existing, so if you have something else, cough up.
>all of the games you listed
Yeah, all two of them. I can see the kind of intellect I'm dealing with.
>years of experience telling me to not bother looking for swimming in a standard mob.
Do you sperg out like this when a Zelda does something different than normal for the franchise, or how about Mario?
Hence my original post: he's playing semantics.
He didn't.
>I can say it is 100% not Dominique
What more do you want?
So how about you stop bringing it up if you don't want people to argue about it?
505 PR lies a lot.
What is boss revenge supposed to be? You control bosses to try to kill Miriam? That'd be pretty dope, hopefully
Name 3 lies. Costumes weren't a lie. We did get 3. Just not the 3 we wanted.
An actual confirmation as to who it is so that this arguing can end, really. But that's not happening anytime soon because of fixing the Switch version being their top priority.
You, pointing out he later deleted that statement.
> PR fag not informed on the latest changes from dev team
> makes statement an d gets later corrected by the team who decided to go with DOminique
> realizes his own words will bite him
> relizes he also wasnt supposed to nor confirm nor deny anything
ur a dilating tranny faggot
>b-but why don't niggers do as well as white kids in school?
He's a shitposter, he probably wants to shit up the thread
literally do not bother, user, he just wants to excuse himself and it's not worth anyone's attention, let him whine about how things just aren't how they used to be
Nice deflecting bruh. Did it not occur to you he accidentally revealed too big of a hint?
there was a really nice compendium image of all the techniques and what weapons they were attached to i saw on one of these threads a while back. does anyone have that?
this, at this point I'm convinced he came from the HK fanbase
It can work both way.
Either he revealed or his words contradict the actual state.
I asked for confirmation and you brought me more uncertain rumors.
That is not what confirmation means. Check a dictionary, fag.
Agreed, but let's not get autistic about one little thing so you can feel like you were right about somwthing. If it actually was a guaranteed drop the first time you kill one maybe, but it was one small design mistake in an otherwise fantastic game.
It's in the last thread, go look.
>he misworded something, hah, retard confirmed!
I like innovation in series but Bloodstained does not innovate much, and when it does in this one instance it's inarguably worse.
>anyone who disagrees with me is a shitposter
The Valkyrie Sword's tech is officially called Brynhilde's Blessing.
>"The top five costumes from the poll will be added to the game"
>"Zangetsu will be released next week."
>"Dominique is not the third playable character" (EDITED) "Please disregard last post."
Yes there are. The Topless Miriam mod has an option for replacing bloomers with pantsu and no other changes:
It's fine to just say you didn't like the puzzle if you couldn't figure it out, user. You don't need to make it a discussion about good or bad design considering a fuckton of people that aren't you were able to figure out that they should at least check the aquatic enemy drops if they're wanting to explore beneath the water's surface.
That's that good shit
>>"Zangetsu will be released next week."
>>Please disregard last post
Never said that.
that's the one, thanks
They never said that about the costume poll.
I'm not aware of anywhere they've given a date on Zangetsu.
I'll give you the last one, kind of. It was Question speaking out of turn, not the devs as a whole.
>It's in the last thread, go look.
Nah, don't want to do any actual legwork and explore the options available to me. I learned it from you, Dad, and it's why mom left you.
Even If you were right, this is such a small and insignificant thing, and don't you try to twist this shit in your favor, you called the game shit and said that everyone that grinds for shards is an autist
Can you show me how it looks in game?
desu famalama these pantsu look like shit
TIS
Except I like the game and yes grinding for shards every time you see an enemy that can drop one is autistic.
I'm done.
Rief
I'm trying to avoid spoilers, but what decides what ending you get? Is it the amount of shards you have on you?
Ok man, we can agree that the games is good at least
Thanks for playing, champ. Good luck not looking like a total jackass next time.
I knew I had to do sonething underground, since that was the only logical step forward. I simply don't like grinding, nor am I a completionist who thinks of unlocking every item and drop. After looking around for a while and killing everything a few times, I started just running past stuff looking for things I might have missed.
Where the fuck do I find the key of celeste, it's the only key I didn't fucking find.
It's pretty obvious, just explore more, I recomend going "up" somewhere, that is If you beat a certain "inverted" enemy boss
Library
Dude if your going to be a faggot at least please stop posting Ms. Frequency.
Honestly I'm thinking you HAVE to be paid to come into threads and post shit like that. God forbid a human being would act like that.
Whether or not you have a specific sword, and whether or not you use it correctly.
Gebel area. Hit the roofs by the save.
Whats the point of the cat painting room, exactly?
Library or the hall of termination, don't remember which
>point out a larping tranny
> he gets mad
Bloodbringer isn't the only weapon familiar right?
I'm going to be straight with you now because this concerned me too, no, Dominque's warnings about storing too many shards on your person at once do not have any bearing on the plot, and the game completely expects the player to go for 100% shard compendium completion without intending to impede them in that. Ending is purely decided by whether or not you keep your promise to Gebel or not.
It's a backer room
Gracias much, anons. ALso, what's the best way to beat OD, I just found the fuck yesterday just before going to bed and him pulling a Dio is really fucking me up.
It is.
It also very useless. Nothing like sword Bros from SoTN
Diamond bullets with Gunslingers Hat, and Silver Power Ring x2, with Max Optimizer. Directed Shield for his attacks
post yfw the third playable is pure Miriam
Wolf Shield or normal Shield before he time stops, other than that, just avoid getting close to him
I would laugh my ass off, but actually hurt really badly on the inside
Jesus we dodged some bullets here
Inbred Death familiar would be fun to have.
>C
I forgot about Goofy Goober, it's been a hot minute
Dude please stop posting you are just going to get more people mad man. Fuck you got me posting now.
You knew that all the abilities your protagonist had came from shards, everything is simple equipment, and you for some reason began seeking a way for you to achieve an ability outside lf them.
And for some reason you're angry people are taking jabs at your intelligence. Fuck sakes could you imagine going at a game like Sekiro with that attitude?
What in the unholy fuck is C supposed to be?
>Zipper mouth/nose???
So what the fuck is with Silver Knight? What's special about him to be found randomly?
I think... a digimon or a monster rancher.
B is cute.
Fuck you, I would've loved a spooky skell friend
Is it worth leveling the sword familiar?
I ASSUME weird moon dimensional shifts are a violation of library's ToS in regards to book handling.
SIRUBA CHIARIOTSU
IMAGINE
IMAGINE WE COULD DRESS UP FAIRY TOO
Finally competed the item compendium. Thank god for Alchemic Bounty and being able to break down items as those last few weapons that need multiple other weapons to make were bullshit.
Only thing left now is to get the second bad ending then I have the Platinum.
Well at least we're having a conversation I had no clue if you where a bot or something.
It just caught me so off gaurd on how enjoying a little extra unneeded programming means i want to cut my penis off and dress as a woman.
Its as if I went into a thread just calling everyone a nigger. Sure a large portion of the userbase wouldn't bat an eye, but fuck this video game board has enough faggotry
He's a stand
He was voted on by the backers.
I'm not sure I understand the question. What is it about him that bothers you? He was the most popular option in the kickstarter polls for potential familiar designs, around when this was made, which is why he gets special attention as the only familiar who's on Miriam's side from the very beginning, obtainable neutrally from those crystal things instead of dropped from enemy Silver Knights or something.
Said it once, will say again.
Kirby mode Grandma
>Wine glass toss originally designed as a stat buff
>Final game turns it into nuclear Holy Water
He changes forms at levels 25, 50 and 75, If you like that, go for it
Post more weeb artists attempting to draw non-weeb faces.
but what buffs does that give to his sword?
Necronomicon-kun is good too.
No.
>He was the most popular option in the kickstarter polls for potential familiar designs, around when this was made, which is why he gets special attention as the only familiar who's on Miriam's side from the very beginning
That's the answer I was wanting. Thanks user!
>Gothic Great Cave Offensive with an alzheimer-ridden granny with a bottomless pit for a stomach
The fact you were genuinely larping as a girl in game and got creeped out by virtual question from in-game character is a clear sign of tranny infection in your mind
>ANOTHER PAGE OF YOUR STORY, RETAINED
Voice acting was pretty meh but this guy sounded fucking cool.
She'll just eat Bael at the end and then go for god
Where do I find Beast Milk? The fucking flying cows?
Yes
I'm sad this isn't how she throws the glass. It just being a normal toss kills it for me.
Yes, obviously
Is Carabose better?
Dominique.
At least she says unaccptable
You mean UHHHHN... ASSHEPTABO!
>The one that confused me for a minute was chicken dishes and G-bone steaks. I didn't really think of a parrot enemy as the source of chicken meat, but hey, I ran with it once it dropped since I needed to farm strawberries or tomatoes or something off of those skyniggers anyway.
Such a cute, smug girl.
much better
Visually - yes. Practically - not really (unless you like auto heals and some secret whispers)
Book objectively better since it grants you STR bonus which is scales with its level.
Silver Knight also can block some enemy attacks.
Didn't mean to greentext whoops
>that replaces spats with pantsu
Why would you do that
Just give me spats and tummy and I'll be happy forever
I didn't even leave with it. I went to farm orihalcums???
I really respect the fact that IGA went the extra mile to voice act in english instead of just leaving the japanese version for both languages, he really is a perfectionist
is it the only one to do so?
Nobody asked for shitty fetishes
Yeh
A likely excuse.
And nobody asked for bunny girl Miriam in the poll but they put it in anyway, so suck my crystal dick
is the fairy the only familiar that can make music/do something when you're interacting with something?
They all say this, death is to kind for you
>tfw you banished Todd to hell
Feels bad man
They all have their own pros and cons.
Fairy:
>The training wheels familiar
>Will literally be your pocket healer
>Will point out breakable walls and off-screen objects to the player, minimizing the need to find Detective Eye or equip the Eye of Horus for reasons.
>Does fucking awful DPS due to how long her attack wind-up is and how mediocre the damage is when it manages to even land.
Dullahammer Buddies:
>Will swarm everything on-screen and literally clear screens for you while you go between rooms if you've ranked and leveled them well.
>Will do near-constant DPS to bosses with no variation in their behavior to prevent them from doing that, and it's good damage, too.
Silver Knight:
>Will commonly block projectiles thrown at Miriam.
>Does respectable damage but not as much as the Dullahammer Buddies because he'll often cancel his attacks to try and block something the player would've instinctual avoided anyway.
>Kind of imprecise and prone to frustrating the player as he whiffs lance jabs.
>Often enough apologizes for this in the form of a big screen-clear move, making him sort of worth it even if he's arguably the most RNG-variable pet.
Buer:
>Lets the player do some goofy high level shit bouncing off of him with dive-kicks and flash kicks, according to some anons.
>Is Buer.
>Lets the player spend more time with Buer.
>Is clearly best familiar.
Miriam reads the book when you are sitting down.
At least he will find more hairstyles in hell
I have no issues with that, though.
Well no, that's not true. I think the deign could be better and her moveset more fleshed out
Buer with the not-Valmanway is pretty funny, you're constantly juggling him with the tip of the wind blades so he turns into a buzzsaw you can ram enemies with.
I like to think he did it intentionally as a riff on SotN's original hammy dub.
There is nothing better than Book + Crissaegrim updated
You're overreacting. Sure, the shard is nothing unsurmountable but it's still a retarded design decision. I was stuck down there for an hour and had no idea where the fuck I had to go since everything else was explored, and then started randomly killing fucks for their shards. The squid took something like 25 retries until I got the shard.
A better way of doing this would have been a room with a few of those things and a guaranteed drop, or, fuck, to keep it consistent, a fucking boss.
Wait. Buer Ball is real?
Holy fuck user you just made my day.
Or just one of those shard holders to give you the first needed one.
Oh definetly, most dialogue is pretty campy like in older 90's games, especially Todd
What is this Crissaegrim?
Where at any point was I larping? Does playing games with female protagonist make you gay?
You got some wierd fetishes faggot. That or you got some pretty decent drugs
Yes, you can do all sorts of things with both the summoned and familiar versions. You can use him as a jump kick target to get extra height in the early going and it was already mentioned how you can kick him into enemies. He takes it all in stride.
Game-breaking sword common in IGAvanias. Also known as Valmanway and Rhava Velar.
>find an incel .webm
Rahva velar
That's what he was created for
Ah, shit, I knew I was forgetting one aside from Bloodbringer, which was already up for discussion. Thanks.
Necronomicon:
>Provides a really strong buff for Miriam.
>A lot of user say this familiar has the highest overall DPS output in simulations and personal tests.
>For some reason it's never quite felt that way to me, but maybe it has something to do with how I play. I won't claim I'm good at the game, just average enough to have gone through it with no issues.
>As far as I know he has no real downside other than how seldomly he attacks and that the buff doesn't have a 100% uptime on Miriam when he's out.
Chef Miriam minigame when
He wants his game back
What a hero.
All random enemies so far only gave you combat abilities, not progression abilities, so it's a leap in logic to assume otherwise.
I'm not saying it was impossible or a bad game, just that it was a hiccup in design with good intentions, but sloppy execution that seems silly to defend. What does attacking me as if I have no accountability and blame games have to do with the design choice itself?
I wish we had gotten a Kitchen tileset to go with the Library and all that. There could've been some quirky food demons and either something inventive or a stereotypical big fat butcher demon boss. In general it would be cool to see more junk like that, such as stables full of skeletal horses and Aria's sunken ghost pirate ship somewhere in the Underground Waterway.
What can the bunny form do that the regular one can't?
Hey guys how OP is Miriam?
>Stop there.
>I know what are you trying to do, you are trying to send the fortress back by defeating that nun who hired Gremory and probably our lord Baal.
>I'm sorry but i cant let you go with that book, as i said before, its extremely valuable, so im gonna have to ask it back, now hand it over if you please.
There, thats how you recover your book and dont throw your vampiric pride away!
Thanks
OP enough to summon the HK-worshipping fanboy fags en mass out of raw asspain and jealousy.
She basically ate 90 percent of all the souls of hell and didn't get corrupted like Gremory expected her too. She's a good girl.
Meanwhile Soma is always one temper tantrum away from becoming the Lord of Evil.
Hey guys, I finished the game and thought about buying the dlc, I know it adds some things but there's no information ingame and npcs tell me nothing
did I miss something obvious ?
>it is a "Wayforward helped us finish the game" episode
Bigger
It adds a bonus boss fight with IGA that you can only do once per game and a new whipsword weapon.
That's a radical Buer
I wish they made the Sword stronger as a weapon to help justifying it being ass as a familiar. At a minimum it should also have the technique the Valkyrie Sword has or some other exclusive move.
I'm still grinding it to 99 because at least it looks great but I'm looking forward to pumping up my book.
I really want it to be Anne.
Literally the the first purple shard enemy shows you that some of these shards interact with the game in different ways, just admit that you lack imagination and leave, it ain't hard
I just wish we had more of a view of the castle as a whole, once you enter it, it's mostly solid blocks with walls on edges except the train that obstructs majority of the view anyway. SotN had more of empty background rooms where you could see sky, forest and ground line in the booth room. I guess it wouldn't work with Gremory shard, but still.
Crystalized Dominique is so fucking hot. It takes all of the implications of the full body stocking she wears under her dress and just makes it into straight nudity. It's great.
I need to finish my evil Dominique drawing at some point.
And that shard is a 100% drop. Deeseama's should have been as well.
SOFT-GLASS PUSSY
Yeah, it's a shame in all honesty. It would be pretty cool if he was coded to be a stronger equipped sword than the Blue Rose if you got him to a high level, yet still was a mediocre familiar because his combat tactics suck without Miriam literally guiding him. It'd be a nice reward for really sticking with him as the only sentient weapon in the game and going through the process of leveling his mediocre ass as a familiar.
>Another page in your story....written
Dantalion is a fucking bro.
Except Bloodbringer. Even at level 50 it's shit as a sword and even at rank 9 and grade 9 it's still shit as a familiar.
I wasted so much of the game using that fucker in some hopeless sunken cost fallacy where I convinced myself that he'd eventually be worthwhile if I just levelled him up enough.
On that note, is there a faster way to level Familiars? They're slow as shit. I got Miriam to 99 and Bloodbringer is still only at like 91. Doing the others is going to be a chore.
I've been farming Millionaire's Bane for now. Dunno if there's a better source.
Perhaps, but there are plenty of incentives for you to try and kill them, for the Rip and Tear lady quest , crafting and for the black hole that calls herself a grandma, I don't know man, I just figured I had to kill an enemy there to progress, and it proved to be like I assumed
I saved the sketches from a few threads ago, but I can't get to them right now. Hope to see the finished designs soon.
Holy fuck calm down autist
Reminder that is canon that Johannes got to see and touch all of Miriam's naked body.
can you post?
havent see nthem
Imagine if they had babies.
What is the problem, dude probably didn't want to have an unfair advantage against bosses
The Shantae Sway (TM) WayForward
Zangetsu somehow isn't helping me during the Glutton Train fight and the boss itself is invincible. Does anyone know what's up?
Hopefully for the next game they get more wild with setpieces since all the groundwork is now down. It took until PoR that they started adding new things like the London streets, a haunted school and an evil circus.
known softlock, happens sometimes when you kill boss too quickly
Like I said, I don't have access to them right now. Currently on my phone and those are on my laptop.
Yes please
user, I was responding to someone asking if Carabos was a good alternative to Bloodbringer because others already informed him that Bloodbringer is shit, so he wanted a recommendation on what to use instead. We already addressed that weapon prior to my post.
Okay, but that doesn't mean it's actually indicated clearly in the game or even hinted at. None of the other side quests led you to story progressing enemies.
I'm not that user but this is the only design misstep in the game if you ask me, in terms of clear story progression. I'm fine with the ID, Aegis Plate, etc but this was just bad design. It's a really simple fix too -- just make the first shard guaranteed and/or put the shard in a pedestal like other progression shards not dropped by bosses. I don't know why you won't admit at least that that makes more sense than what they did.
I mean hell, you can reach a Forneus right after leaving the village. Should people have assumed they should have farmed that to progress too?
even had to spend time carefully drawing the sigils on her breast.
Now make a webm zoomed better using her enemy entry.
Unfortunately, that doesn't have the crystal effect on her body. What a crime!
Nah but have this instead
Man, are there any talented anons who can add a shine to the crystalline parts of Miriam's skin? How hard would this be? I'd love for them to stand out more and be clearly separated from the Enochian around the shards.
Any cheat name to make Miriam start at level 1? I want to go through the game again with more abilities, but not actually be OP (at least not as much).
I'm gonna need you to take off about 75% there bud.
>Stern vampire asks you to return book.
>He's nice enough so you decide to respect his wishes in a gameplay sense.
>This offends user somehow because he gives a shit about how other people play RPG's, as if it has any bearing on his own playthrough or life in general
It only takes like two minutes to warp to him and drop off books before going back to a boss door you found, and I wanted to be nice, especially after he helped with the train pass. What's the big deal, dude? You okay? Problems at home?
start NG+?
I've been playing pretty normally. What can I do to solve that?
For some reason only the one on her back is shiny and sticks up slightly from her skin. You only ever see it when she's cooking though.
restart last save
what recipe is needed for the gunslinger's hat, I'm sick of hard alfred's shit and I'm going to cheese him
Did that twice already.
The sequel just needs to take after Simon's Curse and have a true overworld, preferably not half-assed like Ecclesia had.
Wouldn't NG+'ing into Nightmare do that?
>quest to kill monster
>broken bridge forces you into water
>quest target jets itself into you anus
They should have just put one of those crystal orbs you can break in the middle of the room for people like you.
Why are Buers so cute?
>shoot Alfred
>he warps away
*fuck, meant Simon's Quest.
I was just shitposting but now i feel bad. Thanks user.
Nah that's just some shadows + compression
her models has no nipples
I want to see Miriam make some beast milk after getting that Alchemic Bounty shard.
It's a good episode.
Level carries over.
I don't want to be stuck at it.
xbone/ps4?
PC.
You're... welcome?
Because it's kinda obvious when you think about it, I like it when games don't hold your hand on everything, but I guess you are also right, everyone should be able to enjoy this game, so they could've at least let you to always get it on the first try.
Let's stop talking about it already, it feels tiring to throw the same arguments at eachother
Someone post the original that was dominique with the actual milk icon tits
Don't get me wrong, I didn't get stuck on it since I got lucky and got the shard on my first kill. What I'm saying is that the design is just clunky and there are much more logical ways to handle it.
Again, I don't understand why you're defending it as much as you are. It's not good design and if you're not lucky with RNG, there's no real indication as to what the next step is.
What?
So save your file onto one or more backups and just NG+ one of them. There, now you can have as many NG+ files of as many modes as you want.
how do avoid his shitty arrow attack without crouching in the corner?
Super-weird. Pirated 1.01?
Download latest GoG
>not half-assed like Ecclesia
just because it has a couple straight lines (like many roads in the real world) didn't mean it was half-assed
the Mountain areas especially were fucking awesome
On one hand it'd be kind of lame, but on the other that'd mean it'd be a mode without shards. And if she had expanded weapon techniques or something instead it could be interesting.
Granted that already sounds a lot like Zangetsu, but still.
Dimension SHift
Reflector Ray
Invert fuckery
Directional Shield
Ice Resistance to the roof
etc
Directed Shield.
You can point your directed shard-hand while time is stopped and start holding the skill down right before he unfreezes time.
Nightmare locks you and your Familiars into level 1, even on NG+. Insofar as I know, it'll also retain your level of you go down to a lower difficulty on your next playthrough. Sounds like exactly what you want.
Directed Shield
So what's a worse design?
Skill you get from a boss, use once to remove an obstacle, and then never use anywhere else
or
Skill you get from an enemy, use to clear an entire area, and is a pretty useful weapon as well
Speaking of which, I was really surprised about the way his boss fight was, I actually had alot more fun fighting him than I expected
It solved itself as strangely as it happened. Thanks for your time.
That's a funky looking orangutan
Are you implying the second option is mandatory for progression? In that case, the second, assuming the first drop is 100% guaranteed.
I guess I'll have to try that.
This reminds me, I wanted to ask, have any of you present fucked with Craftwork's offensive capabilities? It says that he has some if you rank the skill up or whatever, but I just plain haven't yet.
I mean how instead of all the areas being properly interconnected like in Simon's Quest, they copped out and made a stage select.
Actually not yet, but I am also curious
He's an annoying asshole on Hard since the screen fills with so much garbage in the second half that it's hard to avoid everything being thrown at you as you can't even see what's going on.
I am going to say something weird here but, all Simon's Quest needed was a warp point system and it would've been a really great game
I've ranked it up once or twice, and it dealt about 1/3 of a single weapon swing I had at that point, so I never bothered looking further into it
It still functions the same and while I was hoping to just hold it to "punch" enemies it does seem like you need to constantly keep pressing it, since only the initial grab animation does damage
Curios to see a fully upgraded one though
and actual sensical hints on how to use the crystals.
Im gonna try it to see how it is
Do drop rates increase on higher difficulties?
Does Rank 9 Bunnymorphis actually add anything new?
Do it on a new save and not a NG+, you'll still mow everything down before they pull their new attacks off if you go in already powered up.
Eh, i just did random stuff until something happened there, it wasn't that bad, but having to walk and walk and getting lost at some points was kinda annoying, other than that I actually had a little bit of fun with the game
Is the Switch version worth buying yet or is it still a complete mess?
I was told that you get a throwing dagger at a certain level but I don't know which.
I understand, nightmare seems to be the NG+ option
Apparently one of the patches will be released "on the week of July 15".
I heard that it will get an update on the 15th, until then no, it wasn't fixed, but personally playing it, it ain't that bad
Someone post the webms of huge damage output.
The time stop one?
Get diamond bullets man. And the 8-bit gun with the 16 bit coin option with gunslingers hat. Youll thank me later
Why are guns so OP? Holy shit the damage I’m doing is insane.
It has problems no doubt, but its issues are greatly overstated. Personally I experienced no real issues outside of the twin tower area.
Some screen transitions have less than desirable load times though, but mostly just between larger areas and not between all screens.
Honestly I am really happy I got the Switch version. I was prepared to get it for PC since it sounded like the Switch one was absolutely terrible, but since I aleady had one on its way because of the kickstarter I figured I should at least give it a chance before double dipping on PC. But as it is I am really happy with it and I don't regret it and I have almost 100%d it on the Switch as of now.
I'll probably wait until the upcoming patch before starting a fresh save file on Nightmare though. But if said patch makes it even better than I'll just be even more happy with it than I already am.
I can accept it as a fast-travel system, but when I walk from the mountain range to the Skeleton Cave, I should be going straight into the cave instead of cutting to the stage select map and having to choose to enter. That just takes the player out of the setting.
Aurora has some interesting mechanics though. She can fly for one which would make the castle a lot more open from the get go, she's probably have her wisp who can slow shit down too.
It's a girl.
>nail it down with Sorrow more than a decade ago
>conjure up this abomination now
I don't fucking understand how could they fuck it up this hard
What's the fastest route to beating the game on NG+ again?
Does anyone have a screenshot of him trying to suck Miriam's blood?
At first I kind of hated how whips in Bloodstained are so different, but I actually quickly grew to really love how these new whips work. Their line of arc and area of effect, in combination with now they attack below you, is all really neat. They're kind of like faster upside down greatswords which I find neat.
Anyhow. A whip special that functions like the regular Belmont whip strike would be cool.
I experienced several crashes causing lost shards, and forcing me to redo questlines, and there are several glitches along side some piping hot dropped frames and sluggish load times. I loved the game but boy it's going to need some work. Hoping to replay it next year though since I had a ton of fun.
Nani? He does that?
They had to differentiate from Alucard. He's a vampire, running water destroys him. So instead, they just made Miriam unable to swim, which is accurate to the late 1700s England setting
Ah shit, this would be great, make it be forward forward attack, since it would make sense
He has a grab that makes him suck Miriam's blood, I don't have a screenshot though
Isn't that what the Whip Sword has as a technique?
Are you playing in docked mode?
Honestly, I feel like they can easily fix the entire complaint for people by just patching one or two more letter arrows into the game from Zangetsu. Seek swimming thing to learn how to swim, and also something something take a leap of faith at the towers because I'unno spikes.
Yes. I was docked the whole playthrough since my Joycons are a bit busted at the moment.
youtu.be
It basically adds a damage zone in front of your character. You can still act freely while it's out, so I suppose that's good if you want to hold it down while doing weapon attacks for some extra damage. I don't personally care for stuff like that or Sacred Shade since it makes it harder for me to control while holding an extra button down.
That might be the problem, docked mode is ironically the worst version of the game, in handheld the only problems are downgraded visuals and some long loading screens, I had honestly had no crashes and I finished the game after playing for five days straight
Demon bunnygirl gets me something fierce, but I'm partial to the metalhead chicks.
>character's a witch
>doesn't drown
Them fuckers were right all along!
but does she weight like a duck?
Lol, i don't think that's intentional, but it's pretty funny
I had two crashes in my 30 hour long playthrough. Played in docked mode. Both times when I initiated a conversation with an NPC.
After the second crash I always went to save before talking to an NPC, but I never a got a third crash anyway.
Crashes make me pretty salty though. Even if 2 is a pretty low number it always suck balls to lose progress.
The performance, even if shittier than it should be, I have no real issues with. But crashes? They're always awful. But those stability patches are aiming to fix the crashes above all, right? I really hope it's fixed.
Did she turn you into a newt?
Try handheld
Are there attacks that deal extra blood splashes?
I got better
Yeah, that's why I don't use Sacred Shade or the shadow dopplegangers. It would be better if it was a toggle. R1 to turn it on, it keeps running even if you remove your finger, R1 again to turn it off.
The Red Umbrella seems to spread more per hit.
meant for
You probably meant to reply to me, my fellow Monty Python fan
It's not a fact that she is or isn't interesting. It's her being a literal who dead IP from Ubisoft which had zero relevance during and after the campaign.
I loved whips since I first got one. Great range makes the jump cancel so good.
I never thought about using it for that. I just use it for smacking around fairies.
I really like the crazy ragdoll for corpses in this. I was farming blood bringer, and batting him away so hard his screams were cut short as he rockets into space
I haven't gotten this game yet. If I've played the shit out of Igavanias, can I enjoy the game more with the NIGHTMARE code to start on Hard difficulty rather than Normal, or should I just play normal?
Start with hard.
The game on normal starts okay and then about two hours in, you can break it over your knee with minimal effort.
I always love killing these guys with the crescend moon, it just launches them into another dimension, it always puts a smile on my face
Any cutting weapon. Katanas and swords especially.
Use time stop to really abuse blood drinking. Every attack will cause a splash.
Carbossa > This little B(itch).
>Third playable character is that autistic OC boomerang-wielding faggot that was in Shovel Knight
screencap this
But I don't want this. And if it happens I don't want to be reminded of this.
I'm hoping that this is an error like how they use the black demon cat for the entry about the all-white one.
Next game. They've already introduced her to shards, so that's obviously going to come into play later.
that is not only vydia. everything is suffering thanks to modern day retards having the attention spam of a 4 year old
Could we at least have the fun self-insert abomination that's self-aware instead?
He already has a stupid bit of content in the game.
Yeah but no one cares about the horribly statted backer items.
Who is he a self insert for? He looks like a goofy version of Simon Belmont.
He's a joke character made by a now defunct four and then three person let's play group. They were actually pretty fun but money and personal shit got in the way so that's over.
For Zubaz stuff:
youtube.com
Random example of the content that got that group popular:
youtube.com
Oh I see... I don't know much about Best Friends "lore" or whatever, I guess that's pretty cool.
Man the official art for Shovel Knight is ugly
Just beat it. It's good but it doesn't do enough new stuff to warrant its existence. If I hadn't already played every other castlevania to the bone I would've enjoyed it a lot more.
I like the Baz in DiveKick but nobody here played the game
If you rank it up as soon as you get it it's much stronger than the weapons you'll have
souma is just a scrawny little shit besides having the dominion soul and he managed fine after beating rahab, miriam should be a lot better at it
Post em
We getting a Miko in the sequel? Gebel is reincarnated as a High School student. Echoes of Gremory still infect his mind.
>double max Optimizer
>and O.D attack speed book
>Bunnymorph hyakuretsukyaku kick is so fast the audio bugs out
I think I found the fastest attack speed you can hit, maybe daggers or rapiers are up there too
What's the cap for the attack boost of the Grand Izayoi? I currently have it at 57
>zangetsu imouto thought to bedead
>little miko
>long lost childhood friend
>big miko
>mysterious antagonist
>villainous miko
sorry this is more Castlevania related but I've played Rondo of Blood, Order of Ecclesia and Dawn of Sorrow. I felt like Dawn of Sorrow was super easy. Did I just get used to the game style or is it legitimately easier?
It is really easy.
The only one of those three with some difficulty is Order of Ecclesia, in my opinion.
Did you play Dawn without playing Aria?
I just defeated OD and I noticed something : Two attacks of Bolide Blast would totally stagger him allowing me to dish out easily 3 or 4 attacks.
It felt like cheating honestly.
Yeah my GBA is in storage with other junk and I couldn't find the cart for sale anywhere.
So are 8bit weapons backer weapons? If I want to play the game "pure" to satisfy my autism, should I just avoid those until I aim for the 100% item completion?
They're not even good anyway.
What's the best "hidden" weapons?
Try the Julius mode in Dawn of Sorrow if you want, it's way harder than the normal game in my opinion
And also, it's fun
That's a shame. I love both Aria and Dawn, but Dawn is a continuation off of Aria and (while I personally think I like dawn more than Aria even though plenty of people don't) Aria does have plenty of perks over Dawn.
If you had Aria in your GBA slot of a DS when playing you got a cool little bonus too.
Vinny's Sword
I'm not sure if they're exclusively backer weapons or not, since I swear I remember seeing concept art for the Sculptor's Chisel back around when the kickstarter was going on, but there's definitely a lot of backer weapons in there. Still, does it really matter so much? They had you an 8-bit coin in the first area for free because they want to hand you a free lisence to start the game off with a fun, interesting weapon of any class (your choice) with a cool effect to boot, like how I actually do love the Sculptor's Chisel for its cool petrification effect and proc frequency (in addition to spears just being a good, fast weapon type), so I think it's fine. It's not like you're getting any more special treatment than anyone else, and the game was created from the ground up with to accommodate backer weapons fairly, at least for the most part, since it's a little hard to grind out a 16-bit coin early so you probably won't upgrade it inappropriately prematurely.
In any case, I kind of feel where you're coming from, I do. You're worried that this is balance-ruining bullshit like preorder guns in games like Borderlands, designed to make the player cruise through early game super easily, which devs think is a boon somehow, but actual gamers know that shit ruins the fun so we groan at the concept. The backers don't really feel like that sort of item to me, just a "choose your weapon, warrior" kind of moment for early game, and if the player regrets their pick they can alkahest that weapon and try a different one.
Yeah sounds like I missed out. I'll see if I can order it online maybe.
Oh is it? I played only a tiny bit and it felt pretty easy in the beginning. I figure it scales up?
>They hand you an 8-bit coin in the first area for free
What? Where? Is it a backer code thing? I did notice some places I couldn't quite get to on the map.
Fuck off Binyot
You need to find it. If you want a hint I'll say it's underneath. And mind you, when I say early, I mean early. I think you can get it before the hub is formally introduced.
Break the floor of the middle building to the right of the safehouse. Alternatively just fall through the moat when you get to the castle instead of lowing the drawbridge. The coin is to the far left of the underground cave you'll find yourself in.
If Bloodless ends up being playable what do you think her story would be?
Yeah, since you can't heal in the menu you deal with bosses in a different way
Especially late-game
What's better than Welcome Company? And what's the best purple for DPS?
Huh? Valkyrie sword you mean?
Fortress defense game where you have to defend your bathtub from rude thots.
WHAT THE FUCK? How exactly the fuck is this considered handing it to us?
Shiki make any Miriam content yet?
Yep, dropped the game from a 9/10 to an 8/10 for me.
Most people would find it by themselves easily and it's not like it's guarded or anything.
>What's better than Welcome Company?
Riga Stormaera from the giant cats in the Entryway halls, and Throw Spear from red spear knight dudes.
>what's the best purple for DPS?
Teps Oceus if your enemies have low health and you just want to auto-aim chain-lightning them to death (this one neat trick, ghosts and elementals HATE this), Heretical Grinder for early to mid game for boss-shredding cheesy bullshit that should be illegal, then there's the upgraded versions of that, Void Ray and Tis Rozain, which are dark and light element kamehameha waves that just obliterate everything in front of you instantly, especially if they're weak to light or dark specifically, as many bosses are.
Let me guess, are you the retard who complains about the aqua shard and aegis armor?
Tell him, nerd.
It's likely going to be connected to OD in some way.
user this is my first metroidvania type anything literally ever, first castlevania (knockoff) I've ever tried. Everyone knows the castlevania wall chicken meme, even outsiders like me, so I knew walls were breakable and I found one or two before I had so much as left the ship tutorial, and I found that coin completely organically just by finding that underground area and smacking what seemed like an obvious secret-hiding fake wall.
It doesn't exactly take a detective's eye.
Did this guy not open the path that's right above the secret room? Considering he entered from all the way over at the end of the bridge.
I seem to have misplaced the Miriam version of this.
Does it exist or did I dream it?
There's too many people defending it because they happened to figure it out. I figured it out too. The question of whether it's good or bad design has nothing to do if you figured it out or not. It just straight up goes against the "rules" that get established throughout the game and seems arbitrary as fuck. Progression shards come from bosses, farming quests have nothing to do with progression, and then suddenly this enemy you're supposed to fight in an area where it seems like you're missing something before getting there drops the progression shard (sometimes after 10+ kills). Aria and Dawn of sorrow didn't pull that shit, I don't know why people are giving this game a pass for it. It's bad design in an otherwise great game.
O.D took her rubber duck (which is why it's not in-game) because she Bloodstained a book she borrowed from his library.
>Aria of Sorrow save room has a beautiful statue in the center, and what appears to be a destroyed Coffin that strongly resembles the save room from Symphony of the Night
>8-Bit Coin room has a destroyed statue in the background that strongly resembles the one from Aria of Sorrow
pottery
Never saw a Miriam one, she's to pure to even contemplate such a thing though. Plus she'll have her favorite buer doll to protect her.
I love how you smugly keep thinking there is just one of us. I had no problem with the Aegis armor, I actually thought that was cool. The aqua shard is just bad game design. You can clearly tell that part of the game was rushed and they had intended some other means of getting it originally. They probably had plans on putting a boss there and had to drop it.
If I remember correctly the Miriam one wasn't lewd. Though I guess it's still pretty dark, since she was contemplating death instead. Unless I am mistaken.
Don't lewd Miriam.
any anons got cute pictures of the quad squad?
looking for art like pic related for my collection
The "miriam" version is just the original, where the girl looks similar.
is she supposed to be poison ivy with white hair or an alien?
>Plus she'll have her favorite buer doll to protect her.
Precious!
58 or 59, I'm not sure.
So... about that Celeste Room?
Do OD's books become unavailable on NG+?
I only have comics.
makes me feel sad that cat is probably dead!!!
The cat that someone sent as a backer portrait is dead. The owner talked about it on the forums.
a quote in the backer section during the credits implies Celeste the cat passed away and the room is a memorial and nothing else
what is she saying.
also post more please
Almost but it's cute anyway.
It is if you use detective eye
Both OD and Bloodless being playable a la PoR and each time you switch characters, you hear some banter.
I dropped the subject ages ago, I'm the original aqua shard guy from last thread. For your info I wack every wall and had no trouble finding the aegis armor because I fill every spot in the map.
>no alfred
>instead cuckboy johannes
fuck this gay earth
>play an igavania
>not wanting to find out what every new enemies shards/drops are
Why do people do this?
>Reading the credit messages
>One passes by saying how much they miss their cat, Kamikaze
>Feel guilty for farming the enemy
I'm glad he got to honor it that way though. Cats are bros.
Wonder how many people were disappointed the team-up doesn't happen in the actual game.
I regret not doing it. I thought about doing the same thing but for my Dog. Oh well maybe next time.
newfag casuals
Will Alfred survive being stripped by his adoptive daughter?
The pets get to live on for decades onward due to the game at least.
I was. I thought Zangetsu and Alfred (and eventually Gebel by endgame) would join your little Hub area as you played. Imagine my surprise when they took the lazy route and wrote them off to their deaths. Zangetsu is Iga's baby so he'll be back. And there theoretically could be some BS explanation to save Gebel, but they did him and my boy Alfred dirty.
Even the portrait replacer mods left the pet portraits alone.
Well his crystallized body is gone. Maybe they can do something like once Gremory is dead and Bael+Castle is removed from the Earth realm he reverted to normal.
is it gone or videogame gone? because Alfred's body vanished when you left the screen too.
Stop making this shitty argument. Part of the reason I was stuck is probably BECAUSE I loved Aria and Dawn of sorrow so much. Those games act the same as the first half of bloodstained. Monsters that gate progression are purely boss monsters. Regular monsters you kill along the way only augment your gameplay. It's a rule that's established throughout all of these games and then suddenly decides to stray from it. It's not good design. The part was clearly shoehorned in near the end of development because something went wrong with the original idea for the progression.
Alfred's death is his own fault as he could at the least attempt to explain himself to Miriam and Johannes instead of going MUH BOOK non-stop. Why he opened up to Zangetsu instead of trying to explain the situation to Miriam in the Hidden Desert is just dumb. His excuse is that they wouldn't have believed him but he could at least have said something.
>miriam returns in bloodstained 2 and manages to save gebel
>in bloodstained 3 you play as gebel and return the favour
Well he did explain that one of his top priorities was to not allow Miriam to be used for the demon shit. His boss fight is him binding you away from the castle even.
He knew that Miriam wouldn't listen and would want to save Gebel regardless of what he said. Plus not much would change tbqh. Miriam was there for Gebel not Alfred.
wicked witch of the west, dummy
Alfred's death is the fault of bad writing
Muh "no time to explain" trope is just promoting stupid people syndrome to add conflict. I don't fault his character as much as I fault the devs for making an excuse for him to have a dramatic death after he did his obligatory boss fight. I think they were going for a (hamfisted IMO) emotional scene where Miriam loses her Pseudo father and the torch of magic gets passed to Johannes. But their relationship is entirely built upon "MUH BOOK" that it comes across as sudden and lazy. Id welcome a retcon or bullshit rezz magic to bring him back because I really want to see those supposed master/apprentice father/daughter relationships that apparently existed but we never saw.
Who loves books the most? Alfred or OD?
>father/daughter relationships
>Get out of the castle Miriam
>I was going to use this binding on Gebel but I'm going to trap you here til I complete my objective
>THIS WAS AN ORDER
>NOW GO HOME MIRIAM
A lot of it isn't in your face but he pretty clearly cared for her.
thats hardly father/daughter and much more "i dont want to kill you because you are a friend/apprentice." Those same words could work for Johannes or anyone he cared about in general.
>Alfred borrows Libre Logaeth from OD
uh oh
>sets her on fire, freezes her, poisons her, petrifies her, nukes her
Clearly acts of love.
They were using Falcom's famous
>Holding back
strategy. Next we need Miriam saying "haha" every line of dialogue.
theres a bra mod
Way to ruin a perfectly good Miriam.
This is not what you think it is.
This is food, trust me.
what does Japan think of Bloodstained? Any weebs or Japs here know and can input?
>Inspired by Jimsugomi
>pseudo-guro
what? user, it's pudding.
Wait a minute... If Zangetsu got dragged to hell, whats stopping him from just pulling Gebel and Alfred out of there? assuming theyre sinners
He was already in Hell when he got dragged through into Gremory's dimension.
>Miriam's bun doesn't have a stained glass-looking flower design on one of her buns
Immersion ruined
They're not her tits.
The ones who've played it like it. Many can't play though because 505 messed up royally and delayed release til September.
>505 messed up royally and delayed release til September.
Really? How? Why? Shit.
This will severely impact the fanart.
I beat the game before I realized that floor can be broken, I went to that room the same way he did.
They fucked up with production. They didn't give much details but from the sounds of it they assumed they'd get production done fast and easy so they left it for last and...yeah. Nope. To remedy this they're giving Japanese backers free Steam/Gog copies and an option to get a NA ps4 copy.
I didn't mind it and didn't grind out the speed boost because I knew this wasn't going to be the main way to traverse considering all the treasure chests you can't open until you get the next ability to sink.
>tfw big brain chad
>farmed water enemies
>Horses dropped lots of gold maces
>had so much gold I got my Augment Gold afterwards by the time I realized a different enemy dropped the shard
Not much info on that. I speculate that they didn't get a firm commitment for physicals and they gave Japan PS4 the game late too so it has to go through certification. They are trying to make it right though.
>Free Steam Copy
>Option to get NA code instead
>some sort of free "gift"
What's the secret to this trick? I'm trying the katana move with directed shield equipped but it doesn't work.
Holy shit, I'm having flashbacks to playing vergil in 4.
Perform jinrai, as soon as the slash part happens, hit backdash then hold directional shard
holding down+forward as well will make you move faster
and switching weapons to the Boreal Rime Boots during the windup animation will make you maintain speed longer and go way further, since those boots have slippery ice effect.
Wait. Is that the katana technique from the demo? The one you could cross the huge gap with and get to the captain's hut on the boat above the start of the game with?
Is that the Manticore soul?
