>inb4 the worst game in the series
It was the game that made CDPR though.

The witcher 1 is easily the worst game in the series and only hipster faggots claim otherwise

streamlined, consolized diarrhea
>Pick dialogue option that reads "Funny."
>Geralt just says "fuck you!"

Nothing flawed about it.

>>inb4 the worst game in the series
Is there even a single person that says this? It's vastly superior to TW1.

so it's character accurate?

Imagine being this much of a pleb

>worst game in the series
That's 3.

[glass him]

delusional or contrarian

imagine needing summarized dialogue options; you're the pleb

More like you're just a pleb faggot.

fuck off 3>1>2

It's the second game series since mass effect to go on for 3 games and have no good games in it. Kind of amazing.

Only someone who never played 1 says this.

>3 above 1 ever
Kill yourself.

>the worst game in the series
Only the CDPR shills believe that.

3's dlc > second half of 1 > 3 base game > first half of 1 > 2
2 is far from bad but it lacked the unique memorablity of 1 and 3. Didn't really feel like a monster slayer. Characters weren't as unique as those in 1 and 3. All the locations were pretty generic fantasy. And the combat is the worst in the series with random difficulty spikes and autistic rolling. 1 had tedious combat but at least it wasnt annoying.

Of course this place is contrarian central so they love it.

One of the most kino intros in the history of vidya.

You're the kind of retard that got confused at Mass Effect dialogue options or didn't know what [Glass Him] or "Comfort Misha" meant.
Not being able to read a situation is synonimous with autism, user.

TW1 is a collection of "good ideas" but it never lives up to it, the Lakeside chapter is the best one with the whole wedding setup but it just kinda fizzles away rather than making anything good with the setup, both the gameplay and writing are clumsy.
TW2 is better overall but it only lacks the comfiness, it focuses too much on politics and war.

I understand quite well. It's still retarded. There is no reason for dialogue options to not read as they are said, especially when it's two fucking words.
But fucking gay ass Mass Effect fags need everything to be shortened because reading is gross and they just want to eyeball one or two words so they can click it quickly and get back to watching the epic movie

the combat mechanics were a lot better than people give it credit for. a lot of people didn't realize that spamming quen in fights gimped your damage a ton.

I feel like I'm the only person that liked w1 combat.
3 is better almost in every way

So dialogue options must say everything word for word so retards don't get confused? Got it.
Choosing Funny and Geralt saying Fuck You is a character moment, shows vidya only fags more of how Geralt is. Take that away serves no purpose other than making an inbred on a Taiwanese picture board feel better about himself.

>unique memorablity of 1 and 3.

3 was blander than 2.

agreed

Most kino out of witcher games. Best characters and best story, if you read the books that is. it had also the most fun combat out of witcher games.

>story
Bland and with a lot of shit outright cut in development, often makes no sense.
>combat
Absolutely braindead.
>sidequests
Follow the glowing red prints.
>hubs
Ubisoft open world instead.
>atmosphere
Not entirely absent but most of the time significantly worse.
>music
Overuse of vocals and consists mostly of rewritten existing tracks.
>alchemy
Just glorified buff spells now.

>3 is better almost in every way
Not at all.

It's a shame that Mankind Divided shipped with Breach Mode instead of an ending because that was the only game I've seen to have dialogue wheels that function the same as a dialogue list like the good fallout games, vtmb, and other classics.
Alas, it didn't, so ain't nobody taking notes.

yes, witcher 2 is the only game that is consistent with the books and doesn't violate them

3/4 of your points are personal preference retard, I agree on side quest point tho . Combat is way better than 2 retarded rolling 24/7 and alchemy is almost the same as in 1/2 I don't know what you are blazing but just stop.

Wrong. I played W1 and W2 within the same time period and I can say for 100% that W1 aged better and is just a more fun and engaging game.

Yeah, fatigue not being explained probably ruined many people's experiences with witcher 2's combat.
If you use your last vigor on another quen shield, you max out your fatigue and can't regenerate vigor while the quen is up, so what else are you going to do except autistically roll around while hitting things for 0.1 damage?

Although 3 has better combat overall, I really prefer 2's low health Geralt and low health monsters approach, I think it suits the game much better than the damage sponges of tw3.

And shit like archers blocking your attack mid-weapon changing animation?

>alchemy is almost the same as in 1/2
Are you fucking retarded? Have you even used alchemy in 1/2?
>Combat is way better than 2 retarded rolling 24/7
I didn't say anything about 2.
>personal preference
The open world sure as fuck isn't personal preference, it's filler garbage that only utter morons can defend.

My only issue with it is that its alot shorter than the first one, Dark Souls combat was alot more fun than pressing M1 over and over again to watch Geralt spin half a million lizard men to death
