If you can unlock Tropy in Oxide Station, you can beat Oxide there too

So grind for ~600 a race user

No it's still borked. It's just how the edges are, you need to press jump right at the top and you'll get an unnaturally strong upward boost

It's not so much that shortcut, it's how all sharp edges behave in the game. They all have this weird magnetism if you drive over them, which kills your momentum. As a result, every jump feels a bit unnatural. You can try it on any track. It's the same reason the Blizzard Bluff shortcut feels weird, if you jump a bit too late, you stick to the ground more than you should

Really? The really easy levels like that and Roo's tubes I find the hardest to win online because everyone knows how to play it and RNG item spam can occur easily.
