when you're given the option to quicksave it's hard to resist the temptation of abusing it in order to do everything perfectly.

The games that allow savescumming are usually designed around it. In Skyrim you literally cannot dodge finisher attacks because they connect the moment the animation starts and the enemy has sight of you.

I quicksave so rarely that I often find myself losing 30 minutes to an hours worth of progress.
