I played it once as a kid when it came out and hated it. I should try it again

Yes it was pretty great, the looks and sound of it were soul, the one recycled boss sucks though

I love arena shooters to death but the time to kill in this game was so horrendously high combined with the stylus controls that the only way to play was using the imperialist to fish for instakills

Its the only metroid game without metroids in it

No, if you were older than 5 years old when it came out then you will recognize that it was shit

Bretty good. Needed a better polish for the touchscreen stuff but interesting at least.

Pretty fun. The main story is very Metroid and the whole jamming 6 different characters for PvP thing really doesn't detract from the great atmosphere and gameplay. PvP is a dumb kind of fun and I really want another game that has similar style of PvP.
Fighting the same 2 bosses for most of the game is the worst part

Yeah, actually. It has some deep, deep flaws but I enjoyed it all the same.

I played online a ton, i liked the magma dude that could climb walls at first but then i mained the ice dude with the beyblade morphball, such a cool mechanic that everyone had such a different morphball

I really genuinely want a social experiment to look into the lives of people that use hacks to ruin games for other people, like to see how fucking warped and shitty that sort of mentality makes their lives, im convinced there cant be a positive correlation

It's the only Prime game where it's actually fun to shoot things.

The single player sucks Other M is still worse but multiplayer is a cute arena shooter for the system it was on, held back by rampant cheaters and abusable glitches and exploits. Should've gotten a fully-fledged remake on the 3DS or Switch.

Dunno why people kept comparing Quake Champions to Overwatch when it was more in the style of this game and Unreal Championship.

I enjoyed Pinball more. In fact. I might play it today again.

Strange how this is the only Metroid game to have gained any sort of traction in Japan. And in typical Nintendo fashion they did absolutely nothing to take advantage of that fact.

PvP was fun with a group of friends and was good online around launch. Of course, it didn’t take fags long to ruin it with hacking and out of bounds exploits.

I don't understand why they wasted their time on Federation Force instead of just straight up making Hunters 2.

If Hunters were made today I bet it would find a niche with the Splatoon crowd, and god knows it would be nice to get a new multiplayer shooter designed around projectile based weapons instead of the same boring assault rifles.

When they release MPT HD for switch, they should include a revamped Hunters multiplayer with it desu.
