The first game had DLC. Adding stuff post launch is not a bad thing when it's free and the base game is already finished at launch.

Rotten Mushrooms pretty much have Chuck's AI pattern already (Chases the player, can jump over walls). Jyust make it fucking happen already so we can have bosses besides Mad Lad.
What's wrong with them adding it in after the fact? If they took the extra dev time to add it in pre-release, the game would likely be released at around the same time the alternative (free) DLC would have been released. The only differences between the two scenarios is:
a) In the DLC option, players are able to play the game while waiting for additional content
b) Players are able to provide feedback to developers so that they can include certain features that they had previously not considered
Bug fixes for a game should be included prior to release as well, but sometimes that simply isn't realistic, optimal for sales, or conducive to engagement and enjoyment of fans.

I hate how many story levels feature the stone. It's like they're teasing look what I can do but you can't. They even proved it's set up for two different styles at least, there's no reason we don't have it.

personally I just really want to see the beach theme, forest is cool and mostly scratched the itch for a land/water mix that I always hoped for in SMM1, but I still really want beach as its own theme also. Ice flower would be pretty cool as well, along with frog suit which would fit well with the beach theme.
Also aren't skewers in or do those work differently than what I'm thinking?

In general, I want more stuff to interact with powerups. You can make some enemies bigger but what if you could give a thwomp a fire flower so it can burn what it touches, or give the star to a goomba so it can kill other enemies (and you) or the leaf to a loops so it waggles its tail to slowly descend after falling down?

There will almost certainly be a word filter like they have for descriptions and a tight limit on how many message blocks you can put in your level. It would be useful to explain certain tricks or mechanics the player wouldn't know initially.

We don't really have mountains - sure, SMW Desert looks like Chocolate Island, but that isn't quite the same as a mountain theme.
Also, Porcupuffer isn't quite the same thing as Boss Bass/Big Bertha - for one thing, it's NSM3DW exclusive.
It's weird that Fire Bros. are in 3D World only, but they originated in Mario 3, and stacking enemies originated in 3D World, but you can't stack them in that theme. Some consistency would be nice.

SMW Desert has a heavy mountain vibe. you can only place rocks and struts as backgorund and there's next to no desert-y stuff you can place in the levels. Same with how SMB forest is for all intents bootleg Pipeland and night SMB3 airship is a lowkey reference to Mario Allstars.
It's annoying how you have to mix and match to get all the interesting themes but since the game just rips all it's basic level structures from NSMBWii U it's probabaly to be expected.

Endless mode should be randomly generated worlds of about 5 levels with a castle theme at the end, if you beat the world it just moves on to another so its still endless, but with more structure.
The game also needs more enemies even if they function the same as others, so we can theme levels better. I know you can stack spinies to make a pokey but they look like shit. If it were my choice pokeys wouldn't even appear in the wheel, you could only get them by stacking the spinies up.

It sure was awful when shovel knight added 2 extra free campaigns later on, essentially tripling the gameplay value. It was also awful when hollow knight added multiple dlc areas and bosses. Oh, if only they left us with less free content, then I could actually enjoy these games.

Why do so many people want a world map feature? No one wants to sit through all of your stupid levels. On the off chance that they do, they can go to your profile and play them in order. Dev resources would be much better spent in other places.
