I guess the story is really good and the characters are interesting. Lesbanism is completely optional in the game.

Core game is definitely the strongest part.
Following is still good, I felt it's a bit weaker than main campaign but maybe due to fatigue.
The rest are skippable multiplayer DLCs.

I think the best part of the game is the strong sense of progression where you start kind of helpless, both as a character with shit dinky weapons, and as a player not accustomed to parkour and other mechanics. The game is good at gradually giving you new toys to play with and you're suddenly tackling challenges you could only watch from afar before, and that's without feeling like you grinded for some RPG boss fight.

VD is pretty fun, feels like Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus but a little more clunkier and fancier with it's new mechanics. The whole cast is lesbians too so if you like some yuri you'll enjoy yourself. Cool mechanical designs too. Give it a look into, it's not at all bad for £12 with all the DLC.

I've been playing through some of the games I've bought from previous sales. I honestly can't believe I listened to Yea Forums. Most of these games are just garbage and not fun.

Rust is going to be very frustrating. Most servers are run by 10-30 person zergs who essentially rule the map. Not to mention you'll spend hours just gathering stuff to build a base, and you could log on the next day to find everything you worked for gone.
In rust you're essentially trading time for fun. You can't have real fun until you have a base, because then you can actually store stuff and have a safe space to craft weapons and shit, and even the most modest wooden base will take 10-20 minutes to set up

It's a 2D platformer/ shoot em up. Sadly however a lot of the sizable cast is behind backer codes which you have to use to unlock new mechs and characters. That are only usable in vs multiplayer. Additional promised modes are still in development, but its a fun ride despite these setbacks.

I wanted to like this game but it just didn't feel like a real mech game. It felt like a platformer that featured mechs, instead of a mech game that you platformed in. If that makes sense. Also the bosses wouldn't get any hitstun from melee attacks so it just turned into pew-pewing from range instead of the actually cool melee attacks.

I was going to buy River City Ransom Underground on GOG, but it never said how long the sale would last.
Naïvely I thought that the sale would last for as long as the Steam sale for the game would last, so I drove out to do some errands I needed to do.

Now I see that River City Ransom Underground is no longer actually on sale on GOG, and no way I am going to over 3 times the price all for nothing, when it's still on sale on Steam. So now I am getting it on Steam even though I wanted to get it on GOG, and only because I never knew when the GOG sale for the game would end.
Why do they do this? What do they think they gain from not clearly showing when the sale ends? Steam does. And a result I haven't missed the steam sale for the game, and I am now getting it on Steam instead of on GOG. That's a loss for GOG even though I prefer GOG.

I picked up Killer7 during the sale too and it's awesome. Bizarre and very unique in how it plays.

I use to LOVE fucking around making dumb stuff just for me and my friend's amusement going all the way back to RPG Maker 97. Haven't played around with one in years but thought it would be fun to make some weird short games with it that are not necessarily RPGs.
