Been bouncing between mh3u and mh4u

How bad is Xenoblade on it? I'm contemplating playing it since I never touched it before.

>469715356
It's good.

I hope you BOUGHT all your games

Digimon Story Dusk, got Decode and Appmon coming in the mail since I want to have physical copies.

Emulation mostly. I'm going to switch to emulating via Nintendo's thing and injections because Retroarch became such a dumpster fire.

I heard they're finally bringing this series to PC, is the one they're porting a good place to start or will I be lost? I mean I know what Digimon is but I haven't seen one since Frontier and I don't know if this specific game is connected to another one I have to play first or what.

>because Retroarch became such a dumpster fire.
I haven't used it but how does that happen? Isn't emulation supposed to get BETTER over time?

Playing Ultra Moon at the moment, which is pretty comfy.

I don't even know. Savestates don't fucking work anymore, I have to restart my 3DS like five times to get the menu to even show up, and the worst part is, last I checked, retroarch nuked all the old versions from the site so I can't even go back to when it was working.

I was originally just using the retroarch emulators because it'd save on home menu space (due to the title limit) but if they're not going to work, what's the point?

Na there's like 3 cameos of past characters but 2 of them are from one game that was never localized and the other is on the DS but they play no real role in the story. I personally don't like Cyber Sleuth because it's very basic but for you it might be a good entry point because majority of the roster is mons you've seen in those first four anime series. The only downside is Digimon as a whole doesn't focus on one genre for their games, some are traditional rpgs, some are simulators, others are arena fighters.

Tales of the Abyss. Enjoying it so far.

Kirby’s Adventure, then I’m going to start Moco Moco Friends

Any good games with romance options?

>Moco Moco Friends
The hell? It says this was localized and I've never heard of it. Why is that? It seems right up my alley.

I've been playing Ultra Sun.
Been trying to play Dragon quest 8 (orchestral ost, uncensored, English voices) but everytime I start the the game it fails to create extra data on the SD card. Don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Playing on a EUR New 3DS XL console if that makes any difference?

what are some 3ds games a little girl would enjoy?

Attached: na.jpg (1061x1063, 275K)

Pic related.

If you have an easy way to compare both, try the Wii and 3DS versions for about an hour each and play through which ever of the two you like more.

Even on the small screen, it’s a very compelling game, and it’s a lot more flexible on the N3DS if vidya time is in short supply.

Attached: 3CE4C3B4-4151-4605-9153-B5DFF33DCDFB.jpg (4032x3024, 1.93M)

Probably this fucking Moco Moco Friends thing. Just goes to show that even if you don't get an answer the first dozens of times you ask it doesn't mean that there's not something out there.

Kirby and Nintendogs spring to mind

W-why does this look better than XBC2?

in and out with uncle user

i'm currenly playing mother 3
when does it get fun

Pokemon UltraSun. I'm going to get Switch in December but I doubt I'll get SwSh. Don't want to be disappointed.

Attached: 155px-182Bellossom.png (155x172, 36K)

...In what universe does that look better?

Never. It is an endless stream of suffering and despair.

The smaller screen hides the potato textures better than the Switch does in portable mode and the artstyle wasn’t fully chasing otakubux yet.

Is this the comfiest game console of all time?

Attached: IMG_20160531_162118.jpg (3264x1836, 774K)

Rune Factory? I also heard of some game where you can impregnate the villain but I cannot personally vouch for it.

Bea has singlehandedly convinced me to buy Sword.

Because The first Xenoblade wasn't about big tittied animu waifu hunting.

SMTIV: Apocalypse
It's like they've fixed EVERYTHING I disliked about 4, it's amazing.

I played it on mine just for the sheer convenience of the handheld. I think the smaller screen does a lot to compensate for some of the lower graphics, other than that I didn't really notice too much of a downgrade.

The Legend of Legacy, still hunting this Deathsaur. The thing is so rare that not a single image of it exists on the entire internet, not even on more comprehensive JP wikis.
Took a break to play Lobotomy Corp but the 3DS is still right beside me

Attached: bianca tlol.jpg (969x1280, 323K)

best game on the console. only reason i upgraded from a standard 2ds

Absolutely nothing, it's gathering dust right now.
Recommend me some comfy games Yea Forums

frankie, bong and pokemon

now das comfy

My 3DS has charting troubles. It charges, but the light doesn’t stay on unless I constantly adjust the cord and hold it in a sweet spot.

Anyone at the best part? I thought it was just the cord, but the problem continued when I bought a brand new cord. So it’s clearly not the cord then.

Just wait for the HD release

You think it’s just dust?

warioware and pokemon ultra moon

It's not getting one, and Bogsaurs aren't in The Alliance Alive. Planning on maxing recon in TAA ng+ for hunting that damn plant monster.

Tell me if I should play Ni no kuni DS. It has a translation now.

Dragon Quest 8. I'm really enjoying it but there's that constant fear I get with RPGs that I'm missing shit or that I'm underleveled. Or that I'm allocating shit poorly.

This is interesting because a lot of people love IV but hate Apocalypse. What specifically do you like about it?

modding my 3DS was the worst thing I ever did. I put like 50 games on it and never what to play so I ended up playing nothing.

Yes because it is a completely different game from the other one, but remember that you do need to download the book as well in order to play it.

I have the book too. I'm gonna play it then.

Kirby, my little cousin asked me to hack her 3DS just so she'd get access to Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot

Luigi’s Mansion Dar Moon.
Its good enough to see through, but not good enough to bother 3-starting all of the missions or tracking down the boos.

Izuna Unemployed Ninja, was trying Mario games and such but wasn't feeling it so I started playing Pokemon Crystal again and that DS game.

I can understand disliking Apocalypse for the writing, it does feel a bit more like Devil Survivor /Persona than your typical SMT but I'm only at the halfway point so far. Almost everything that's improved has something to do with game mechanics
>map now has proper markers on it as opposed to just green dots
>you can actually properly navigate the map now, the areas have proper connections between them instead of having just one weird ass random warp point somewhere
>STR isn't trash anymore
>partners aren't a hindrance anymore
>basic two demon fusion is back
>general fusion search improvements, making it the most comfortable fusion system in any MegaTen game
>expanded smirking system, for once I didn't ignore Hama/Mudo spells in a MegaTen game
>Maka/Tarukaja split for less braindead buffing
>demon skill affinities makes you think about fusion instead of just exchanging a sprite for another
>more balanced skillsets, powerful abilities are available much later and cost more MP to use
>fucking one touch Estoma usage, no more of that Estoma Sword garbage
>you can do more than one challenge quests at the time, no more accepting one at a time

There's probably more but that's what I remembered off the top of my head.

Same as you, OP. PXZ1 was a chore and a half, but PXZ2 is just a chore which isn't too bad. The scene with Segata was fucking fantastic and I'm really sad that the first FOUR Sakura Wars games are still untranslated. I've already been spoiled on Edgeworth appearing sadly, so that's the next character I'm hyped to see.

Going to play through Mighty Switch Force after I'm done with PXZ2. Although, I'm worried since my L trigger has started to stick and I have to jiggle it around to make it responsive again. I hoped I could live without this problem for the rest of my 3DS playing days.

I was considering it since it's easy to download and put on there, but I opted for emulation and it's a hell of a lot better, only downside is that battles will drop frames a couple of times if you use a 60fps mod since animations are still 30fps in some places but besides that it runs flawlessly even with the HD texture pack. Hell, if you have a powerful enough computer you can even play it in 3D.

I should download the 3DS version and see the differences on the screen itself.

Attached: 1545744906571.png (680x522, 21K)

Don't worry, RPGs are easy. Even if you do miss shit it doesn't matter because you can just spend some time grinding and then you're fine.

exploring last floor of EO4

Because I dont like playing video games you fucking n bomb.

>but PXZ2 is just a chore which isn't too bad
thought I was the only one who felt like that almost near the end.

Just finished the Luigi's Mansion games, loved elements of both and think 3 looks like it'll be the best of both worlds.
Gonna be speeding through A Link to the Past for my second time, and A Link Between Worlds for what might be my 4th, trying to do both before the LA remake hits.

>bought a New 2DS a month ago since hacking is easy now and I never had one
>tfw 150+ hours of playtime in a month on a shitty, 400x240 screen
The Fatlus games alone pretty much guarantee I'll end up having 600+ hours of playtime on that thing.

Attached: 1553927425123.webm (238x412, 223K)

I was tempted to redo the missions to track down the Boos as well, but I heard what you get for it and don't really see a need to

Probably not, but there's no harm in trying.

psychic specters as I wait for Omega Ruby and Wario Ware Gold in the mail, it's a nice summer

Super Metroid
Pokemon Crystal
Super Mario All-Stars

Why the heck is everyone playing Crystal? What's going on here?

Attached: 1534827884710.jpg (349x350, 10K)

>thought I was the only one who felt like that almost near the end
Dude, everyone thinks that. I don't think I've met someone who legit LOVES the gameplay.

From like mission 10 onwards, it follows the same formula of just

>Cutscene
>Bad guys appear
>Brings about 15 grunts with them
>Make your team
>Game start
>Turn One
>Hope to god no one cross hits an enemy in the air so he's stuck there the entire fucking battle and all your moves miss
>It happens anyway
>End your turn
>"I'm sensing another dimensional rift/jump/AIDA"
>The "real" bad guys appears
>He brings 15 MORE people to come and fight
>BUT WAIT
>THE REAL BAD GUY APPEARS
>Brings 15 more people to come and fight
>"Chapter XX: Enjoy fighting more fucks" appears on the screen
>Spend the next hour and a bit playing the map
>Repeat for 30+ chapters or so

I like the game and all but I really wouldn't recommend unless you love banter between characters or SRPG's. I'm here for the former mostly.

It's just a comfy game user.

Attached: 1561336939304.jpg (355x355, 18K)

>He brings 15 MORE people to come and fight
oh fuck don't remind me I just wanted it to be over, it's a slog when games do this just to extend the life of the chapters or whatever.

Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon, Rune Factory

Is Dillion's Dead Heat Breakers still full price?

Until the chapter name pops up, expect more enemies to come and fight.

If it pops up immediately, expect more enemies to come and fight.

Played 3 and 4. That's the kind of shit I'm looking for.

Hm... there's probably something.

When was the last time you checked in on your New Leaf town? Your villagers miss you...

You actually shouldn't do this, if you stopped a villager from moving the last time you played nobody will have moved but if you played any time since that anyone can have moved.

I think 2017
Lost Marshal and with him most of my motivation, he was the first new villager to move in.

Costs $0 on my end.

I think you can just modify your save and bring him back. Sure it's cheating but it's not like the game is fair.

is good game

Attached: WC11-VideoGameEN.jpg (646x580, 151K)

Pretty much same. Tried getting into Pokemon X&Y 2 times but never got past 3rd town. Played the odd online race of Mario Kart 7 but would rather play Mari Kart 8 on my hacked Wii U.
Buying a 3DS was a mistake plus I fell for the 40 dollar Monster Hunter grip meme too.

DUDE
PSP is comfier

You can't talk shit about the 3DS until you've played Kid Icarus Uprising

The only 3ds games I have on it is animal crossing and pokemon y and moon. I found my copy of Order of Ecclesia and started a new save recently

Just started playing this. I wish I could play with FemMC from the start.

Attached: 31415.jpg (672x672, 204K)

trying to finish up strange journey, then play either EO nexus or Persona Q2. also im not sure whether i should get yo-watch 3 or xenoblade chronicles 1.

I tried playing that game after I got my MH grip as it has a built in stand and the game still handles like shit.

>also im not sure whether i should get yo-watch 3 or xenoblade chronicles 1.
Either of them will easily give you 100+ hours of gameplay so you can't really go wrong.

Finished Ocarina of Time a few days ago, gonna start Majora's Mask today probably

Nothing. My 3DS have been dead for a long time now. Last game I played was Professor Layton's daughter's game. It was ok I guess. On par with the Layton prequels.

DIE SHANOA

I would if I could, it was the first thing I looked at when he moved. Never ended up doing it though.

I got my 6 year old niece into Yo-Kai Watch. I even bought her a 3DS on her birthday.

I finally got MM3D and Sonic Generations is on the way

No, it's ergonomically shit.

Chapter 9 on yo-kai watch 3

Your mum is ergonomically shit, but I'm still gonna handle her tonight

With so many games on my 3ds I'm finding it hard to organise them all.

Post your home menus anons. I need ideas of how I should organise.
Plus you get to show off your themes.

I don't want to get a screenshot, but just use alphabetical order. It is the gentleman's way to organize.

Also, what's the place to get themes now? 3DSthemes or whatever it was seems to be long dead.

I just reset the home menu file and use whatever the default order is once it's generated again.

Use a charging cradle for it, that happened to one of mine and using the cradle fixed it.

I know it has Latios in that picture, but pre-bank XY was the comfiest shit

Easier shiny breeding(atleast the chances are bigger if you breed with shiny family pokemon), hidden abilities granted if you transfer them to ultra sun/moon, you can obtain unobtainable pokemons in usum, you can catch legit celebi and it's pretty neat game.

I organise it in folders by game category, like GBC in one, 3DS available at retail in another, 3DS download only in another one.

I use girly themes like prisma illya and CCS, my folders are according to overall genre, like action, RPG and puzzle, with 2 additional folders for standard 3DS and homebre apps

I only have "useless shit"(for default apps I never use) and "good shit"(for things I actually use). My games are unsorted because I'm not gay.

>I use girly themes like prisma illya and CCS
Can you hook me up?

Ahh you lucky fuck, I wish I still had my copy of that game

you still get her pretty early

pretty sure I get them from searching 3dsthemes before it went down, try the archive torrent

Attached: PicsArt_06-28-11.22.24.jpg (591x1048, 76K)

Glad to see i'm not the only one who still has CIAngel's icon

Are there any other rougelikes other than Wanderer (mystery dungeon) games on 3DS?

I'm going to play some DQ8 for yhe first time lads, wish me luck.

I wish you luck

Attached: 1561955486129.gif (404x300, 485K)

don't tell me what to do you're not my daddy

And then your party grows to like 30 people in size, and it becomes really damn hard to manage, if you want to level everyone up evenly.

Why bother? Do you really care about Ken? Just use the characters you like.

I want to get everyone's ultimate persona, plus I want to have more viable options when it comes to party comp, since I'm playing on Risky, and I can't just throw a waifu party together and plough through the game effortlessly. Also, MC and Aigis don't join until some time later, even after you get the P3 cast, so if I wanted to include them, I'd still have to wait for them to unlock and use some substitutes in the meantime.

the game's easy enough that you can use anyone you like even on risky.

It's quite obvious you're playing on picnic mode and never touched risky, so don't bother posting any further.

and it's pretty obvious that you don't have adequate knowledge of the game so don't bother posting any further as well

Translation when?

Attached: 1548965627037.jpg (235x214, 17K)

Isn't this translated on PSP?

Yes,but the 3DS version is vastly superior to the PSP one.

Does it hold up?I'm currently on CH2 and enjoying it.

Is the 3DS USB-C? I had the same problem with my phone and can't charge it with anything but a wireless charger now.

3DS is its own proprietary charger that works on all DSes from the DSi onwards.

Well it seems like it's still actively being worked on as of like a couple days ago so I guess there's hope.

Since I heard someone made a fix to Deku Scrub hopping and Zora Swimming in Majora's Mask 3D, that one.

Attached: tumblr_oxfk4bEqXy1syeyvqo1_500.gif (500x500, 2.79M)

Ah, cool. Thanks

While I was driving across the US to move I found some 3DS games for dirt cheap on sale at walmarts in the middle of nowhere. Currently playing DQ7 and I'm enjoying the shit out of it. I decided to pick it up since DQ11 was my first in the series and I really liked it. I have DQ8 for 3DS to play too. I don't know what it is about the DQ games I've played so far but I'm loving the "feel" I get from them if that makes sense. After DQ7 I might finish Yo-Kai Watch. Ever since it came out I keep stopping once you get to that fusion place in the town area to the left or w/e. I love the Halloween sounding music and I have fun when I'm playing but for some reason I keep stopping there. One of the games I picked up for cheap was Yo-Kai Watch 2 Psychic Specters which is why I actually want to finish the first game so I can play that one.

What's wrong with it?

How do you organize your 3DS menu, when you try to change the size of the icons they're all over the place

DQ7 is about a thousand hours long, there may not be an after.

I don't.

I was kinda getting that feeling actually. I might end up putting it on hold and finishing Yo-Kai Watch then.

There's nothing to organize when all you have is a 16gb Super Donald card

Hopping as a Deku had this weird thing where you lost your acceleration so it made getting around the swamp leaves a pain in the ass. Zora swimming was made to require you to use magic if you wanted to go fast or do anything fun with it, so if you didn't have ways to recover your magic while doing it like breakable pots, you'd run out and it would be a slog to swim around. Both of those got fixes in the form of cheats. I've yet to try the Zora swimming part but the Deku hopping thing is definitely back to how it was in the N64.

Attached: 1552026492065.png (500x499, 140K)

What if you have 128gb, user

Unfortunately, no.

fug but thanks for responding

I use an official invader Lum or Evangelion theme

Why the heck would there be an official theme?

ordered a refurb N3DSXL last night to replace my OGXL.
pretty damn excited. I've heard these are generally pretty much like new, so hopefully that's the case for mine as well. I figure now that Nintendo has more or less let us know that they aren't making anything else for the 3DS, prices are only going to get higher as time goes on.

Attached: refurb.jpg (976x157, 13K)

fingers crossed you get a clean 3DS

that's a big reason as to why I just went directly to Nintendo instead of fucking around with a potentially cheaper used console from someone. I have yet to see someone say they received a dirty or beaten up console from them.

Objection!

Attached: Objection.gif (240x139, 21K)

Because both IP owners like to whore the license of their IPs to anyone.

Does anyone know where I can get a clam/shell for my New 3DS XL with a fabric lining so it doesn't fuck up the plates? Got a samus version 3DS but apparently the glossy plates scratch super easy.

Fellow 3DS owners, my New 3DS XL's A button feels a little weird after like 1~2 years of use, should I worry or is that normal?

Attached: 1472199356097.png (314x278, 129K)

I've had my original XL for like 5 years and nothing feels off to me, so perhaps you should maybe worry.... could be an issue of grime/dust.

I'm just starting MHG with about 100 hours in. Hunting style bring a lot of fun new ways of playing and I've been lied about them turning the game to shit.

Same. I think a lot of them must the store returns that get sent back for whatever reason, then fixed and then shipped out as refurb units, i.e. hardly used unlike the average Gamestop specimen.

It was all fun and games until you posted Cuckdelia.

>buy cheap 3DS online for my cousin
>pick it up everything looks fine
>give it to my cousin and 5 minutes later he complains about some photos he found
>20+ photos of a literal furry in a semi sexual poses were still saved on it

Going to start Beyond the Labrynth and need to finish DKC3, stuck on one of the later worlds.

Is it odd that whenever I buy something secondhand/refurbed, I essentially disassemble the fucker and go to town on it with every cleaning product I own?

No at least as long you know how to assemble it back.

Very rarely have I had to go to the internet for instructions on reassembling something. Most of it is pretty intuitive nowadays. Old shit though, Jesus that needs instructions.

Fire emblem fates conquest. Damn this shit is hard on hard difficultly I keep dying on like every map

Buy a DLC EXP grind map, desu.

You aren't dying because it's hard but because of RNG

Nothing. I honestly regret ever buying one. There just arent any decent games Im interested in and I really dont feel like restarting my pokemon games (fuck you Gamefreak for not making multiple saves possible)
I wish I could just hack it but it looks like a pain in the ass and Im a bit retarded with those kind of things. Plus I think my version is way too new anyway.

Been playing some Heroes of Ruin.

>I wish I could just hack it but it looks like a pain in the ass
It's simple as fuck, just do it. There's literally no way you could brick your system when following a guide.

Last year. Game just gets too boring and without friends its a bit pointless anyway.

about to start Yo-Kai Watch.
first time. heard a lot of good things about the series.

it's incredibly easy to do if you can manage to follow simple directions, and you can hack ANY 3DS version right now.

Hey thanks a lot. Maybe there's still hope for me.

I finished this in 3 days. Repetitive but pretty fun

I'm having fun but I feel like everyone wrecks my shit

I love the gameplay. I also enjoy musou games a lot

What do i do to enjoy SMT if i fucking hate the quiz shit to capture demons? I want to crawl some fucking dungeons but there's only so much Etrian Odysseys in this world

honestly thats the goddamn truth. Ill miss a 80% hit and then the enemy will never miss a 60% hit 5 times in a row

assuming you're playing SMT IV, maybe look into Soul Hackers or Strange Journey if you want more of an Etrian-style dungeon crawling experience.

negotiations are just a part of SMT games.

nothing. dead platform with a poor selection of games.

I find it very unlikely that this is you right now, for human beings are unable to shape their mouths into such a curious form.

I wanna suck on your tits user

Any good gsmes I could finish in 30-40 hours or less? Whenever I start a new game that takes too much time to finish I always end up dropping it because I want to play some other game, that will most likely live the same fate

Kid Icarus Uprising, it's a short action game with only 9 chapters

the 3DS has a pretty great library if you enjoy RPGs.

What are some of your favorites, user?

ace combat
luigi's mansion

It doesn't have RPGs. It has mediocre weebshit JRPGs that are trash.

Look at the edge on this guy

just from what I've played so far, the Shin Megami Tensei series has been my favorite. IV, Soul Hackers, and Devil Survivor have all been good experiences, and I have Strange Journey, Devil Survivor 2, and Apocalypse to go through still.

JRPGs are RPGs, user.
believe it or not, some of us enjoy turn-based games.

What are some RPGs you like, user?

The 3DS version is shorter than the PS1 version. Some of the padding was cut out.

I've been playing LoZ: Link between Worlds

Attached: 1561593152026.jpg (259x194, 12K)

Based, about to play that game for the 4th time after I finish ALTTP, playing both in preparation for the LA remake

I haven't played a single Zelda game in my life.
What should I start with?

The same place everyone brown after 1954 started: Ocarina of Time

eh, now I'm not so sure.
there's something about the way a Zelda game looks like just doesn't appeal to me at all.

Is it a specific look? 'Cause pretty much every Zelda has a different look

How would I go about restarting the homebrew process if I fucked up and deleted a folder I shouldn't have?
All the shit I had got replaced with black icons, and selecting any crashes the system. Looked online but nobody had any answers.

Play ALBW, it's easy to jump into and charming

I bought em and then pirated backup copies since I couldn’t be assed to go into GodMode9 to dump carts.

Has anyone made an app accessible from the system UI to dump games kinda like UMDKiller on PSP?

it's less the aesthetics and more just how the games seem they'll play at a glance.

oh yeah, I forgot about this one.
I always thought it did look the most interesting out of them all. might have to give it a try.

My 3DS is incredibly beat up. Don't have that specific problem you're having BUT the charging cable is pretty loose in the socket, and using the dock is 50/50. May work, maybe not. The 3DS has to sit in a very specific spot in the cradle to actually charge.
The rubber came off of the circle pad a long time ago. Still, doesn't feel too bad. Actually I think it feels a bit better because it's less slippery.
Had to turn 3D off in the parental controls recently because the 3D effect started to flicker on/off then the slider was at the bottom.
On top of all that, there's a load of scratches and chips all over the thing. The bezel from the bottom screen scratched the top display. Even the stylus is falling apart.

Still, I'm keeping this thing until it dies.

you should probably just hit up the homebrew discord at this point: discordapp.com/invite/MWxPgEp

I certainly have no clue and I think that's your best bet for tech support.

Street Fighter, Crush 3D (aka proto-Fez), and Steel Divers.

Mighty Switch Force is the most underrated 3DS game.

Mutant Mudds is pretty good too but doesn't use the gimmicky mechanism on which the entire appeal of the game is based nearly enough.
