When I came to loot some corpses up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen crying orphans in his hands without beating the boss.
The Successor of the Rib Cage at the arena was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to beat the boss first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the boss fight.

When she took one of the children and started stabbing it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to stab them each individually “to elevate mankind to the next step in evolution,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s scientifically viable. After she stabbed each orphan and put them in a bag and started phase two, he kept interrupting her by monologuing really loudly.

She can carry you through the game. Dodges almost everything, has hard hitting spells, staggers enemies frequently, and her heal gives you more health than any other companion we've seen. The only downside is that her damage is rather low, but she attacks frequently enough to offset that.

Okay, so when a Revenant regenerates from extreme enough damage like to the head they lose some memory, right? And they don't realize that they do either because of how total the loss is, right? Now I'm just saying this theoretically, but as long as you don't destroy her heart you could crush Mia's brain enough times to render her a blank slate that you could probably raise to be anything you want. You could even -and this is purely a theoretical scenario- get Nikola away from her but keep him safe somewhere like in the base while you're out doing this and then once the initial process and subsequent obedience training is complete you could reintroduce the two to watch Nikola's reaction to your new dog.
It would probably be a really interesting thing to observe since it would be the perfect situation under which you could discern just how total the memory loss experienced by Revenants is. Are the memories merely suppressed and open to being awakened by extreme emotions or familiar stimuli, or are the neural connections responsible for them truly mashed into oblivion. It would also raise some interesting implications on how emotional attachment works in the minds of amnesiac Revenants. Maybe the only reason Revenants like Mia love and bond to specific individuals like Nikola is because in the absence of memories the Revenant mind attaches to the first most obvious source of non-hostile interactions as a sort of coping mechanism. This could also explain the pairing of Eva to Jack, or Io to the MC. This would be a very fun thing to discuss with Nikola as you show him the new Mia as he would probably have an interesting and unique perspective on the whole situation.
