There's no saving us, Valve seems hell bent on having cockatiel dead last. They currently have the third lowest multiplier at 0.0095 after hare (0.0037) and corgi (0.0029) with pig and tortoise in front. (0.0331 and 0.0216)

hey man, the entire event was being run by redditors (literally) having a secret club of super secret script (literally cheating) and me and my boys decided to counter them and sabotage the event.

valve just didn't want us to have fun and shut it down. They would rather extend event by 2 days than have a wildcard end to the event where no one got the badge

All I remember is that the groups from here also had shitters that tried to stop people from reaching the end, especially after reddit got there first.

Anyway, the moral of the story here is these events will always suck somehow as long as they depend on user input.

reddit didn't get there first, we literally had the event completely locked down the true final day, but valve extended 2 days and we only had the manpower to prevent bruteforce wormhole stacking for max 1 more day.

we had ALL the rooms locked down bruh, literally. If valve didn't extend event by 2 days literally zero would have the badge. We kept track in the steamAPI for the badge, and we know for fact our efforts prevented people from getting badge end of the day before they extended event by 2 days.

we had the math down precise enough to know for fact we could not keep it for 2 more days, so we gave up for the last 2 days that shouldn't have been a thing in the first place

It's nothing we didn't know already, but the way they merge the Lunar New Year and Summer Sale tokens in the chart makes one think they might indeed carry over to a Winter Sale (they have mentioned this in the rules, with no promises), so it might be wise to save tokens for a hypothetical future $5 discount if you can't get it now.
