I don't understand. The car 'physics' are fucking atrocious. They move like fucking tanks. A sudden bump into another car results in yours spinning around the fucking road. Many people applaud GTA IV's 'realistic' driving mechanics over V's. I disagree. Video games aren't meant to be 'realistic'. If they were 'realistic' then I guarantee that every fucking video game that exists would be fucking boring. I understand why people say GTA V's driving is way over the top, but at least you can fucking drive a vehicle without suddenly hitting fucking police car. Even vice city's and san andrea's car mechanics weren't that fucking atrocious. (They were actually pretty balanced)
Niko's movements are shit as well. They feel so fucking sluggish. I don't care how pretty the game looks. If the controls aren't top notch then it's fucking unplayable. I spent hours and hours trying to master the controls, and the game was still so fucking boring. The camera panning is horrendous, and the gun play is laughably fucking horrid. The fighting mechanics is a travesty. I mean what the fuck?
Another is the missions. They aren't fucking fun. They feel like tutorials so far to me. There's always like four or five enemies you have to kill and the missions always end with you executing someone.
I also hate the fucking phone calls you get from Roman. "Heeeyy, NeeeKo. Wanna go to see tiddies?" No Roman, I'm trying get away from the fucking cops trying to shoot me!
The story is actually entertaining though. One of the only good attributes of the game is the characters and plot. But, however, the shit outweighs the good. And that's what this game is: A PILE OF FUCKING SHIT!.
I loved GTA 3, SA and Vice City. But this game is such a fucking disappointment to me. It had lots of potential but the gameplay made it a huge letdown. Honestly, fuck this game to the ends the earth.
